Kind of quiet on here tonite---I just wanted to pop in and say hello.

I'm glad to see Lara posting a little even if u are under the influence of extreme drugs FROM THE DR. --Don't worry no one will come after u. But geeze u'r pain is lasting a long time. Does everyone who wants their titties back go thru this? Dork u just said u were in pain today too, that's from the tity backs---oh that reminds me of baby back ribs--anyway I didn't know that I just thought whoever did it, it was like when they came out and that's no pain. Is it the skin that hurts or deep inside--I honestly don't understand why all the pain, I feel so bad for u guys going thru this and Dork u'r in pain all the time???? Ok but u'r not done so hence the pain? (and that effin hole) I hate to be a Debbie Downer--oops anyone named Debbie here--this is not personal it's just an expression like FU--just a saying that's all----anyway take u pain pills all the time, don't worry about addiction--we're way passed that just take them --I would--well I do so just feel better.

Kat that wonderful about u'r condo-see when u least expect things that sometimes when they happen and this is good. U'r DH sounds pretty good.

I have to call my GP tomorrow about this damn cold or whatever it is--stuff is still coming out of my eyes and gluing them together, I know most people wish it was my mouth, but it's my eyes. I just hate calling. When I diagnosed myself with Maunchousens disease they assured me I didn't have it, but I feel like I'm always complaining so I must have some form of it. That's why I hate calling, my other Drs,  told me last week to call her--why can't they just give u something themselves--pisses me off. See I'm complaining again. I will stop now.

Cyn u sound better are u feeling better--pretty soon is vacation time for u--the last time I went on vacation was 1982 to Vegas that was it. I got married there. See why I don't like to go anywhere. But u guys love to travel and I think it's great u enjoy so much of life and doing things like u'r supposed to.

Well I'm seriously not drinking tonite cuz I have a lot of phone calls to make tomorrow and another letter to the governor--oooo I should wait til Tuesday--The inaugaration is tomorrow tht why I haven't written the President since he was re-elected cuz I know the routine--so Tuesday I'm writing the Presiden too.(sometimes I do use spell check for their letters) it takes so long tho. I keep myself busy with all this stuff and people wonder what I do all day. I know basically nothing, but I do hear back from them from time to time, not favorably tho--so I keep on trying to get my political points across. Oh well that's neither here nor there, Interesting expression--then where is it? I'm rambling again, I'll stop right now. Hope everyone sleeps well. Take u'r drugs, don't say no to them.

Liam is so funny, when he gets up he doesn't have his hearing aid on so you have to shout at him.  Then he turns it on without saying and has a go at you for shouting out him.  If he doesn't like what you are saying he turns it off again and then starts whistling.

He only watches sport on the TV so if you are warching something else he wanders around the room and then starts talking (loudly) to the dogs. If that doesn't work he starts whistling.

He will only eat cheese sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.

He keeps locking himself in the bathroom, usually when he has left his hearing aid in the bedroom.  Then he loses his glasses.

He moans constantly that he is cold, then when you turn the heating up he says - you know I don't like being hot.  He always wears two pairs of socks. A vest, tshirt and two jumpers.

she is probably heading for the mental as we speak.

Good morning, Loungettes!  It's so cold here even the computer is running slow.  Welcome to winter in Maine!

ORLA--Diluadid usually works really well, but the doc has to be not afraid to prescribe enough.  Usual dose is 2 mg, you may need 4mg or 6 mg or even 8 mg to get adequate pain relief.  Were you taking tramadol before?  That blocks the effect of the other narcotics, and many docs don't realize they can't be used together.  Dopey is ok, it's better than pain, at least for me!  All those cuts in your mouth make me wonder if they let a student or an EMT put the tube in, for practice.  Their supposed to tell you when that is planned so you can opt out if you want, but most places don't.

CynCyn--I do vaguely remember the Creature Double Feature!  I love Dracula movies!

BBBBernie--YEAH for annoying brothers!  Great news!

Goldie--I bet Journey in 3D was kewl!

Wahine--I pick and choose what I use from Flylady, too.  I don't get the e-mails now, did for a while.  I have the daily projects on my Cozi calendar, but I'm not up to that point yet.  I used to use the timer trick when I was in school studying, it works really good for me.  Especially when I get on the computer, I will sit here for hours if there isn't a deadline of some sort.  I don't dress to the nines with the lace up shoes, either, 'cause I don't wear shoes around the house much, but I find that if I get dressed as soon as I get out of bed I do get more done in a day!  Love that wagon truck, too funny!  Hope the drive is sober!

Cammy--don't see why you couldn't use apercream on your forehead, skin is skin after all!  Glad that works for you.  Didn't wake up with a headache this ayem, either, so I'm hoping that means things are getting better.  Now if I can just keep it that way through the rest of cold and flu season!

Wahine--does your DH get migraines?  There are medications to control those.  If they're not migraines, have him try putting the hot rice sock on the back of his neck, or between his shoulder blades,  that's where the muscle tension often starts.  He should try massage, too.  Hooray for renting the condo!  Maybe that family is like me and works backwards when looking at ads and lists?  Not sure why I do that but I do.  Wish I had that jacuzzi right now.  Missing my hot tub.

DorKable--Dogs are so smart, aren't they?  Sadie will get her squeaky toy when I tell her to, and will sometimes get her rope toy when I tell her.  Sadie is a true retriever, loves to play fetch, would play fetch for hours.  Not sure what I would do without her, that's for sure.  Dorky, dear, when we have holes in our bodies (one got put there by God and mother nature) we are SUPPOSED to hurt.  It keeps us from overdoing so energy can be diverted into healing.  It's ok to take a pill and make the hurt ease up, so quit yer complainin' and take the pills!

Mema--I never thought of freezing cooked bacon, does it work well?  How do you wrap it, in individual serving sizes?  I think I want breakfast where you are!  I love home fries and hash browns, especially the home made versions!  Have you ever tried vacuuming Bella?  Most of my dogs have loved being vacuumed.  It's a good way to get the gunk out of the coat. And Bella is supposed to be spoiled, that 's what they are here for, that and loving!

CynCyn--all this talk of lasagna is making me think it's time to get out the pasta roller and make some noodles and a big lasagna!  Or maybe a bunch of smaller ones that I can freeze. . . Yes I think you can call a hairless dog a furbaby.  Still fits in the class, even if it is different!

ORLA--I know how that feels,  and they shouldn't have done that.  I'm thinking you have the right idea about not going back there.

Juliet--yeah, it must be a sight to watch them putting one of those bras on someone.  I never had one, but I've heard them described.  Sounds like a job to get into and out of one of them when you're awake!

Cammy--taking the breast off doesn't hurt much because the muscles aren't bothered, usually.  Recon usually involves moving and splitting muscles, and that hurts as it heals.  Recon usually involves more handling of the tissue that is left behind than taking the breast off, and more handling = more pain.  Not fair, but there it is.  And go ahead and complain, it helps get the stress off.  You'll always find someone to lend and ear and a shoulder.

I didn't know a year had a color!  Learned sumptin new!

BBBBernie--when you say your brother is wearing 2 jumpers I have a mental pic of him in a dress!  Do I remember right that a jumper is known as a sweater here in the states?  Love the way he manages his hearing!  That's called selective hearing.  I use it too, sometimes.

Kathy, I HAVE seen that bike/bar thing, just on tv tho. And last night there was something on tv, don’t remember what, but one went riding by. I had to chuckle. Was something in TN. Congrats on renting out the condo.

DorK, the seeds are started in the house, not outside in the ground. Probably plant some time in March and then we will use the plant protectors. Still single digit temps here at night, so they would die.

Sue, the movie was better in 3D, and it is the new version, not the old one.  Well, when your vehicles get dwunk, mese knows you habbed a goot time.

Cyn, why wait until you hook up with D, vitamins are relatively cheap girl, go get some B. We have been to the Alamo, pretty cool, but it was FREEZING when we were there. And I’m sure she will take you to the river walk as well? We were there during December, so all lit up for Christmas, BEAUTIFUL. Did the boat ride, but again it was FREEEZING. A hairless dog? What kind?

Gosh Lara, sounds like they were just throwing you around like a bag of potatoes and hopefully you won’t have to go back ANYWHERE!

Julie, congrats on the new favorite nephew Mutley, lol. What kind of pooch? And there are no old mean broads in this group, dat fo sho!

Wow Cami, what are you writing to the gov and the pres about? Or are you just entertaining them, like you do us? Just kidding of course.  But neat that you do get replies back on occasion. And if you don’t get better, no up the ass and down the throat this week. So get better girlfriend.

NM, great suggestions for Mrs Wawa and his headaches. LOL, don’t tell him I said that Kathy!!!  Vacuuming your pooches eh? Good idea. Maybe you should write to the flylady and suggest that tip. Wow, your own noodles? My recipe uses raw noodles, not cooked ones, and I make 2. One to eat and one to freeze.

Well, no holiday for this chica, it’s work as usual. But that’s ok, heading out on Thursday for Laughlin. Happy MLK Monkey Dey ladies……..cheers!

Good Morning Ladies--see how polite I am. (sometimes)  It's very cold here--very---no snow yet which I kinda would like instead of this type of cold--windy too. We are called the Windy City for that reason.

I slept OK but still tired as usual. and I realized it's getting about to be tax time cuz those things come in the mail. Now get this I always did my own and I always did my parents and helped people with their return. Now I don't understand the first thing about it and can't do a simple for--I know they change every year but I used to actually read it and understood it--now it might as well be in hebrew cuz that's how much I get it.

Goldie I looovvved that pictur with all the lights oh such a pretty sight to see. And that pooch was cute actually--but I didn't see the 2nd pic--didn't come thru for me. And when I write all these goffy politicians I'm serious, except I don't think they take me seriously for some reason. One actually did and wrote me back and did say I'm entertaining and she would help on an issue and she did and it got done. I wrote back and said Thank you but I didn't mean to entertain, I really had a problem. So I write pretty much the way I talk and I interrupt myself all the time.

Lara I hope today finds u better more without pain, now I understand why there is so much pain. U and Dork are having a hell of a time and this better be u'r las one.

Bernie u'r brother sounds better and sounds like he knows just what buttons to push.

NM I'm glad u'r getting a hold over those headaches and hope u always  do.

I'm glad Dork can sleep in today, everyone sounds like they are working so hard right now--it's good jobwise but it's got to be tiring.

Joey is home from school today, but I had my coffe I was up early, cuz he was going to get it for me so we just sat and talked about (get this) the kind of ring he's going to give the girl he marries--Oh geezeHe likes the emerald cut, but he also likes the brilliant cut and I did remind hime he has to be at least 25 so instead of worrying about the ring worry about going to school. UghAnd he wants at least a 2 karat ring so he's better wait til he's close to 30 so he can have a super job and education. He thinks so strange to me, he's very serious--then he farts and lays on the floor laughing. So he's normal enough I guess.

OK I'll catch u guys later---Happy MLK day and a a good Monday.

Cami - u R NOT a Debbie downer.  Call you GP, and insist he do something about your symptoms.  LOL about ’don’t say no to drugs’  heehee.

Bernie - Liam is funny.  But I bet your sis is ready for the asylum or close to it.  Bless her heart for putting up with him.

Julie - loved dat cartoon from yesterday.  Sawee you have to work tonite…((Julie))

NM  - glad your headaches are not so bothersome and hope they and all other ills are banished for the rest of da winter.  My dogs, well Baxter, runs from the vacuum.  Bella hangs around…is curious…maybe will try that.  My DH has to have at least eggs and 1 toast every morning, but most often with bacon or sausage.  I patty or 2 slices is all.  So when I fry bacon or sausage, I fry the whole package.  The bacon jes shy of crispy.  I drain them well.  Wrap in waxed paper, put in freezer baggie, and freeze.  Then, pull 2 slices (they are easy to get apart) put on paper towel, put in micro for 15 to 20 secs…he has breakfast in the time it takes to fry 2 eggs.  The home fries was something my mother started.  And she HAD to use bacon grease.  So…I still have a tiny jar of frozen bacon grease.  Yes, I freeze that too.  It comes in handy for my Bacon Spinach Salad dressing too.  And, bacon bits always avail too.

Lara - I think NM is right.  It probably was someone in training.  Hate that they do that and that you are in pain.  ((Lara))

Lori - Is dat really a hairless?  Cooll pics…where they supposed to be?  Sorry you have to work too…not fair.  But goot that you are taking the weekend off in Laughlin.

Goils….gotta get DH some breakfast and git my walk in.  Hope all have a gr8 day!

    Lubslubslubslubs ya’ll!!

LOL you galz are a riot! Julie, I loved that cartoon from yesterday too, jest didn't get around to  posting after you posted it. Funneeeee!

Thanks for the tips NM...I will tell my DH...would be GREAT if it helps him. Yes, he does have meds, but they are so strong, and he used to be on tylenol w/ codeine and then he got all the rebound headaches from it too. ALWAYS every day, bad headaches. I keep trying to get him to "diary" it for the drs to know how often and what he has eaten, that he wakes up with it, etc., but he won't do that. It would help the drs know how to treat him, I think. Oh well, but maybe your tips will help!

Love all the posts, but gotta run....going to meet tenants son and dil at condo to sign contract. However just were told the father (who will reside there with his spouse) has hospice care. Hoping they can stay a LONG time. Then run back home in time to take my dad to the skin dr. Holiday??? Who said its a holiday??? LOL...j/k.

    Have an awesome day, girls,

    Dork LOL LOL LOL--

Kat Good luck with the sogning, I hope the hospice care is something that is just helping them out for now. So keep u'r fingers crossed.

I have a weird feeling the vacuum is coming out today, I can see Joey cleaning the toilet and the floor--that means bigger stuff is on the way. There all crazy here. I miss my condo and car--Oh well, I made my own choices so I'll shut up. Just telling u guys.I'd never say that to anyone else.Oh I have to tell u my oldest dgt was offered a super job at the law firm were she works, alot more money but of course teaching and alot more work. Her boss is a main partner and told her to do what she feels est doing. And she turned it down cuz She's been with him since he started at another firm and he took her with and now she has 2 secretaies and she told him she couldn't just leave him, and he was so happy---but she urned down a lot more money (I'm thinkin) oh I told u she has ethics and loyalty, but come on.But I also know she's so happy with him they at this point don't even have to talk about what to do-she can work from home if she needs to and he can work from home if he wants to so they have a nice set up. So I have i dtr that works like crazy out of the house and the other dgtr that works like crazy in the house--And then there's Maude (me) writing political letters. LOL

I'm having a serious day as u can see--I very seldom have these-OMG it better not last--I dont like this at all. I know I'll chalk it up to SE's from something.

Awwww Lara, yeah you needed to get it out...glad you were able to cry, and its totally normal. You have been through a LOT with  surgery, bc, etc!

Jest got back home, in time for.....yuppers.....Pau Hana.....woohoo gonna get Hunk to bring me a tall icy dwink upstairs....and maybe he will show me his big long....oops....Embarassed

Signing went good, I liked the fellow too,but its his parents that are moving in. He mentioned bringing up his dads hospital bed and just a few things...they will move them in tomorrow...and it doesn't sound like his dad has long to live, so thats really sad. I do hope he DOESN'T die for a long time, and also hope they will stay as tenants for a long time. But I almost think now it just might be a couple of months, and if so, well at least we were able to be flexible with them. I doubt they could have found another ground level unit with NO stairs at all that they could stay in as little as a month if something happens. So I guess we had the unit and they had a need for it, and if this is what we are supposed to do, then I guess thats why we hadn't rented it yet. Esp since we didn't like the others that wanted it so much! Their background checks were awful! If we can help them out, then that is a good thing.

((((Lara)))), hope that pain goes away sooon!

    Luv U Gals,

    Katwinka

Lara, you poor dear, I am sorry you had a cry but hope it helped make you feel better. Please let us know what the doctor says tomorrow.

Camille, very cool that your DD was offerered that job but turned it down. Sometimes it is not worthe the extra money to walk out on something that she loves so much. I tink she is brave in staying where she is happy. You sound like you are in a funk girl, come on out and let us all giv you a big hug ((((Camille))).

BBB, tell that brother of yours that he is naughty lol. Your poor sister, bless her heart for dealing with him and his hearing aide antics. My Dad does the selective hearing ting all the time, it is bad! But I am so glad that he is still here with you and your family and IS able to be bad!

Lori, sorry you had to work todey but dems the breaks with being yer own boss. I hope you have a nice getaway with your DH.

NM, love your posts, you have a way to be humorous while giving such great info. I have a hug of appreciation for you for taking such good care of us goils with your knowledge ((((NM)))).

Same goes for Juliet in FL, ((((JULIET)))), it is so nice having nurses in de lounge.

Suz, is yer cars staying sober todey? I hope not!

Kat, how did the skin doctor visit go with your Dad? I hope all is well.

Sorry I am not addwessing all mese goils, I gottza work myself. But I wanted to tell you all that I just started researching the doctor that my PS has referred me to and found many hits right here on BCO. I PM'd two goils who had this doctor to get the 411 on the doc and on the DIEP procedure. I hope to remember to call tomorrow for a consulation. from what I have read, the guy is very backed up. A good sign that he IS good. I need something short of a miracle to put this mangled old body back together!

Dorkster, I am SO happy that you are getting good hits on the new dr...and that there are bco gals you can ask questions to, about him as well as about the procedure. Great!!! I do hope you memembah ta call him tamarra. Otherwise, Pants is standing by with his big paddle. Thanks for de dwinkie!

Yeah Cami, I foigot to comment on your DD, for having the balls to stay with a job she likes, rather than go for more $$$. You raised them well, for sure!

Lara, are you feeling better tonight? Hope your appt goes well tamarra.

The skin dr had to cut off more things off my dad's skin, sent off for biopsy. I have to keep up with all their appts, since I am the driver. Someone suggested a calendar online that we can sync with all our appts, so may check on that. My dad baked a big ham, so gave us some which we just had for dinner, yummmmm it was so ono! I am amazed at all he does at his age. I do need to help them with some things there, like hanging more paintings, etc....now that I am well, I hope to do it soonliest. Just seems like things are always sooooo bizzy!

Thanks to you ALL, for all the joy, caring, love, concern, sharing, etc., that we all do for each other. You are all very special to me!

    Love, Kathy

Good morning, Loungettes!  Listening to the weather guess going on about wind chill factors, currently at -8 in my area.  Lovely.  Yuck.  Be glad when it's over.  Hung out sheets and a duvet cover yesterday pm, they're still frozen on the line this ayem.

Goldie--making noodles isn't hard, except for the rolling out part.  I got myself attachments for my Kitchenaide to do the rolling, and one that makes macaroni and a few other shaped pastas.  The rolling out one works great, made linguini a while back, gobbled it all up.  Froze half the batch and then cooked it a couple days later.  How something made of flour and egg can taste so good I'll never know.  No holiday for this chica, either.  MLK day is one of those half-a$$ed holidays, some things closed, some open, hard telling what's going on sometimes.

Cammy--I'm with you, rather have snow than this bitter cold plus even a breeze!  I hear you about the taxes thing.  Way too much to remember and process there.  I can imagine how much people look foreward to your letters, I bet they are GREAT!  Glad the one lady could and did help.   I think the headaches have become a thing of the past.  Now I just need to  keep up with the nasal douches, as someone here put it, Need ot keep it up through the winter, I'm thinking.  How old is your Joey?  He seems like a hoot and a half!

Mema--That is a great way to store bacon!  I love bacon, but usually the package starts to mold before I finish it, so I don't get it often.  But cooking and freezing it sounds like a great idea.  So is keeping the bacon grease in the freezer. I keep a jar in the freezer and drain canned veggies   and the water I cook potatoes in into the jar, then use it for soup base.  Sometimes I thaw some out to cook rice in.  Very tasty, and never the same twice!

    DorKable--YES!!!!!!!

Wahine--it is a good idea for your DH to diary his headaches, but if he won't, then he won't.  Too bad about the tenant being on Hospice, but that doesn't mean it will be short term.  I've got a patient who has been on service for over a year, almost 2 now.  The wife may stay on after, too, at least for a while.  But it's a real blessing for them to have a nice place to live during a difficult time.

Cammy--sometimes more money isn't worth what you have to go through to earn it.  Your DD may have checked out the new place and realized it wouldn't be a good fit for her.  And if she has a really nice set up and is making enough $$ to be comfortable, she may be wise to stay where she is!

ORLA--speaking as someone who didn't like to cry, I can tell you that letting it out is better than trying not to.  I've gone totally the other way, will cry at the drop of a had, if someone looks at me, if I think someone's going to look at me, if someone doesn't look at me, well, you get the picture.  The tears we make when we cry from fear or stress are different from other tears, they have stress hormones in them.  So crying helps get the stress hormones out of our system.  So go ahead and cry, you'll find plenty of shoulders and crying towels here in the Lounge!

Wahine--sad to hear that the father isn't doing well.  It's a huge blessing for them to find your condo.  Gotta think that God had a plan.

Undy--Wow, you are good at spying everyone out aren't you?  Who are you disappearing with? ??????????

Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is The Who's Under Who?

Cami, I have been to Chi Town in the winter, that cold and wind can be BRUTAL! How very sweet of Joey to be concerned about a ring for his future wife, but very good that he realizes he needs to have a good job and education to afford it. Keep teaching him right gramma. Good for you to write the politicians, I guess if you get SOME responses, it was worth it. But you are entertaining! OMG and Joey helps with the cleaning too? LMAO, Maude it is. Can we make that your nickname? As for Kathy, that goil is ALWAYS doing something, she NEVER stops. You will see come spring and summer. She is like de Energizer Bunny fo sho.

Sue, yes that is a hairless dog, it’s called a Chinese Crested Hairless. The other pictures I posted were of the River Walk. If Cyn goes to the Alamo, she will be near the River Walk too.

Dort, you found your own perfect sign! Live Fart Laugh.

Was NO HOLIDAY for me Kat, work as usual. Hoping your DH can get those headaches under control. I can imagine that gets old.

Lara dear, it’s gonna get better. Hang in there girl and keep poppin those pills. And nuttin wrong with a good cry, I think they are good for you. Are you still at your parents house?

Kathy, I so agree. God was saving your condo for that couple. Not only would it have been hard to find a ground level place, but also someone willing to let them out of the lease if the husband passes. You are a Saint my dear. I hope he lives a long time too, and if he doesn’t, may he have a peaceful passing. The online calendar sounds like just what you need for you, DH and your parents. I hope the biopsies are B9. Are the shingles gone?

Tankaewe Dork, yes doze is the perks of being mese own boss, but so is being able to take off Thursday, for a little get-a-way! Oh that is awesome that there are gals on BCO that might be able to offer some advice, or just good thoughts if nothing else on the new PS. I am keeping everything crossed for you. Write down all your questions for them, so you will be armed if you hear from them. OH YAY, you already heard from one. I would want to know about the pain.

BwaaaaaHaaaaaWaaaaaBwaaaaa Shannon, dat wuz goot girl. OMG, DorK with Mole Boy! Too punny. Mese panties in de pewl…..nuh uh, not mine! But on a serious note, sorry to hear that this bug is kickin you’re a$$ and hope you feel better soon and can join us on a regular basis.

NM, I guess our cold weather made it to the other side of the country. Seems to me, I remember that duvet being frozen before! And yes, Mema’s idea for the bacon is a good one. I too keep frozen bacon grease, but I use it when I cook my greens. I also like your veggie broth idea, except for the fact that that stuff has so much sodium in it. I usually buy boneless chicken, and I thought, why not buy it on the bone, filet it and then boil the bones and make my own stock. Well, that’s as far as it went….a thought! Neat drink! I’ll start off with 2 for 2’sday!

LOL, purrfect dwink NM! Love the title. Good 'splanation to Lara about how crying gets the stress hormones out....mese didn't no dat. YIKES dat is cold! Only wind chill of 10 last night here, but cold enuf to bring in our furbabies. I had a lady ask me if I had shipped her the new warm jacket she bought from me on ebay....well had to explain she bought it AFTER the post office closed on Sat, and then Sun and Mon they were closed, so today is the soonest I can send it to her...she said it was 5 degrees and her son needs it for his walk to the bus stop. Yikes....thats cold! I will try to upgrade her shipment to Priority mail...then it will get there the quickest.

Oh my Shannon....you really walked into a mess, didn't ya? Love your description, could jest picture it. Since I of course, was in the chapel and NOT in the lounge....but omg I really had 3 tenders wif mese??? Good old mese??? (Emphasizing the "good" part...lol). Hope your cold goes away QUIK.....and that you feel better soonliest!!!! We were sick for about 2 wks, but just really bad for a wk or so....darn coff seems ta want ta linger. Did you have the flu shot also? It seems to help make it not as bad, and not as long. (((Shannon)))

And Lara, are you doing better today??? Hope so!! Also hope your new foobs are looking nice like you want them to look, and perky! Once all the colors nesappear, that is (bruising).

Oops....gonna remind Dorkie to call the new dr, before mese foigets! Maybe Dorkie alweady called him and has some gud newz......

Happy TwosDey...Two, Two, Two dwinks for all....

OOPS bumped ya Lori....right into de pewl...but den youse kin get those panties outta de pewl....what....they aren't yours????? Really???? lol. I make my own chicken stock even from the bones when we buy rotisserie cooked chicken....also turkey stock from turkey breasts (we get the 7 lb ones!). I made some more turkey/chicken soup with brn rice, wheat angel hair, celery, carrots, etc plus a bit o sesame oil and soy sauce, and I always drizzle some beaten egg in it while stirring. Made it the other day since we had run out of the other. Easy-peasy.

Oh NM, Glad Sue told you about freezing bacon! I haven't frozen cooked bacon yet, but I usually freeze half the raw pack. Plus I will cook extra and put it in the fridge, it stays crisp then I just reheat it in the toaster oven, and it is nice and crispy.

*hic* oh my those dwinks are good!!

Morning DahhhhlinKs!!  And Happy TWOsDey too!!

Lara - NM has told us about the stress hormones and crying before...XCELLENT advice.  Jes let them tears flow girl...we're here for you.  Hope Doc appt goes well today...always thinking of ya...(((LARA)))

Unde - Damn girl...you was lurking bigtime eh.  Cwack me up wif the pairing of all of us...you were spot on...LOL.  Hate that you got da nasty cold.  I was lucky...tried to get me twice...but zicam and nasal douching saved me.  Hope you feel better soon and can join us for da next PaRTay!!

Dorfy - WOW....I am sooo jazzed that there are a few goils here on BCO that have had DIEP and from this same PS.  I hope you have called him already for a consult.  Someone said to have questions...do it!  Can't wait to get back tonight and read some good news!!

Lori - Jes my opinion...mese don't like dat dog.  :-( Cyn!  But the Alamo pics are cool!  I kno dem ain't my panties in da pewl...u member mese sayin I don't wear em.  So ms innocent...fes up...LOL.

WaWa - you have a heart as big as TX!  Happy you got the condo rented, but heavy heart about the husband.  Will say some prayers for them both.  I too will de-fat chicken broth and freeze for soups sometimes.  Makes the best base.

NM - Gr8 DOTD...as usual got my laugh muscles exercising today.  Good idea about the freezing the veggie juice, but have to agree with Lori about the sodium...But they sell the unsalted canned veggies and that way you can salt to your taste or use salt substitute.  I will tho...remember the juice from boiled taters.  We do that quite often.

    I kno I'm missing some bodies...pweese 4gib mese...know dat I lubslubslubslubs all ya'll.

    Hello Mah dears,

Lara, you are sounding very colorful.....ouch!!!  Makes you wonder what the
hail is going on when you are knocked out..Im sure the yellow, green and purple
hues are normal but the pain under the arm is what I am refering to.  I hope you
start to feel better soon ..but in the mean time being comfortable is what I wish for
    you.

Julie, Thats true about what old broads are made of.   Are you having any issues
with Red Tide down there?  I dont know if its still here or not but it was pretty
bad last week and I actually felt like I was having some trouble breathing.

Maud....good question about the pain..and I have often wondered about that too. Its
ok to complain..makes me feel like Im not alone...lol..but I do often feel like I
am too negative and need to cheer he phuck up. Good for you writing to the president.
If someone doesnt speak their mind then whats the point.  You go girl and keep em
coming.  I also, was unaware that there was a color assigned to each year.  I like
green.  Your Joey sounds so sweet...I love the relationship that you have..

Lori..my all time favorite movie when I was a kid was Journey to the Center of the
earth..I always wished there was a way to do that and I actually made up fantasy
games (get your minds outta the gutter) about planning a trip to the center of the
earth and gathering supplies and drawing a map....silly eh?  Im envious of your veggie
garden...When I move to TX (not anytime soon) but Im going to have one..and I have
allready cleared this with Donese....We are staying at a hotel on the River Walk
Lori...very cool pics...I hope its not freezing...I told D all about what I had learned
about the Alamo...she was impressed...and of course knows all about it as they
take state history lessons in school..duh...and here I thought I had some info she
didnt know...LOL...That dog is a Chinese Crested .....Im not quite into them either.
would much rather have a doggie that resembled Baxter and Bella. I still  have
to buy the vitimins..but im not going out today..no way no how...I want to be a total
lazy bum today.  BTW....Im a huge fan of lava lamps...I have one with sparklie
things up in my loft..think I will bring it down and plug it in down here sometimes. I
also had a regular one but .come to think of it I havent seen it since leaving XPB.
That Biotch probably stole it..it was usually used durring RARE intimate moments for
    atmosphere...

NM..Im huge on breakfast..more since my diabetes DX than before..but I make
sure to eat every morning...I do what Mema does..I cook a whole package of bacon.
and freeze it..or refridgerate it...Lately I've been making scrambled eggs and adding
all kinds of stuff like bacon..cheese ..onions and refridgerate that and make a
breakfast burrito every morning..delish....Im out of bacon so I may make a batch
with ham..  I may not always eat a decent lunch..but almost always my breakfast is
good and my suppah!!  I told my g/f that I want a Kitchen Aid mixer...but that
she could wait until we were a bit further on in our relationship before we start
buying eachother appliances . I did mention that i would like the pasta maker
attachment when that time comes. Maybe she can start saving now .

Glad to hear Liam is doing well enough to be a pain in the A$$ Bernie...I think thats
a good sign of recovery.  I wish I had the capability of turning the volume off and
on. Im starting to plan details of DD and my trip ...I'll let you know my thoughts
once I get them organized and see what you think and make sure you will be around.
Im very furcited to meet up with you and see your home and beautiful country.
Question....do they let 17 year olds in the pubs if they just drink Coke?

Dorty...youse so funny..Live Fart laugh..I need that sign...good for you taking some
time away from your hard work to stop in and i give Stella credit for hailping you
out ...tho I would recomend checking her work...Whats this I hear about you and
Mole boy???  Im so glad you are feeling good and confident with this new ps Dorty.
I just know that he is going to do good by you....We'll all beat his a$$ otherwise..
and sic Ms. Vino's peeps on him..but nawww....he's going to be goot..I can just feel
    it in mese fart.

Undierooo..... great to see you....been doing some eves dropping ??  Well, looks like
a lot has been going on here..and your right that Skates...shhhhhhh...and I believe
that may be the innocent one's panties floating around there but dont think she will
eber admit that and tarnish her reputation.

Kathy..I didnt realize that your DH was having such trouble with migranes...I hate
to hear that....how is he dealing with his other physical issues of late? You have
got to be one of the sweetest people I know and so caring and unselfish..I hope
your tenants stay there a reaaallllly long time and that the father also isnt in too
much pain .. do you know what his ailment is??  you really must seem like a savior to
    them.

You all have a great day ...have Two for Twoesday ....

    Bottoms up

    Cyndielouwho
