many prayers for you Cherie! -
Hi Ladies,
First I want to Thank You all for the thoughts and the prayers sent my way..
I had my Pet/Ct scan about 2 weeks ago and received good news with it..The ct part of it showed all the damage to my bones, and the pet part did not light up.. What wonderful news that was..
My onc decided to put me on a chemo break, gosh after being on chemo for 9 months, I was so ready for it..I have been having a hard time with it too...I was diagnosed 4 years ago in Dec. and this will be the first time in almost 4 years that I have not taken something to fight the cancer..It is scarey and sometimes I catch myself thinking not so nice thoughts..I really have to do some talking to myself then..
I am doing my best to enjoy my 6 weeks off of chemo, I go back Dec. 12 for another ct scan and see how I am doing..It would be the best Christmas present if I could stay off till the first of the year, but I am proud of my 6 weeks and I am going to try and not be too greedy...
I had asked you all to keep my Sister-in-law Sherry in your prayers, she was having a biopsy, well Praise The Lord , it was B9.. Thank you for the prayers..
My brother and another sis-in-law adopted a precious little baby girl from China and I am going to meet her for the first time today and celebrate her first birthday..I am so excited..Here is a pic of her, she is adorable...
Kids are wonderful, I am so happy for them, they have waited so many years for this precious baby. Well I am off to get ready, they live a couple of hours from me..I hope all of you have a wonderful day..Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way..
Hugs and God Bless,
Cherie

Hi All,
I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful Christmas. I had a really nice one myself..My parents were here and my son, daughter-in-law and my 2 grandkids were here..They spent the night here so Santa got to come to my house again for the first time in a few years..It was so special and so much fun watching my grandkids Christmas morning..
I had a ct scan Dec.14th and thank the Lord it showed that I was still stable..So I am still on my chemo break..I go back to see my onc in Feb...
I have had alot of back pain the last week, I am praying that it is from doing more while I had company...I am going to try and take it easy the next few days and see how it feels..
I have two people that I need for you all to keep in your prayers please..I have a aunt that has been fighting breast cancer for 22 years and she is losing her battle, she is 84 years old and she is not doing well at all..It just breaks my heart..I also have a friend that I met at the clinic the first of the year when I started chemo, we were both on the same chemo..I stayed on the same chemo till Oct. and she is on her 4th chemo..I talked to her the other day, she has been in alot of pain..Had a mri and found out it is still spreading..They have taken her off chemo right now and she is getting radiation for pain control..Hers is also in her bones..Her name is Stephanie and my Aunt's name is Eunice..
Please keep them in your prayers..Thank you all for the thoughts and the prayers for me..I am sending big hugs and lots of prayers to all..
Hugs and God Bless,
Cherie -

Hi Ladies,
I really, really dislike this disease..My Aunt Eunice passed away tonight and I am so sad she is gone, but so relieved she is not in pain anymore...She has been fighting this crummy disease for over 20 years...She was 84 years old and one of my favorite Aunts...I just hope I will have the strength and the courage to fight it as long as she did..Thank you all for the prayers, I know she is in a much better place, but she will be missed a whole lot.
Hugs and God Bless,
Cherie -
Cherie,
