Thank you so much my friend!! I am wide awake as you can see.. I found this prayer and gosh it is just how I feel right now..

Every day I need you Lord
But this day especially,
I need some extra strength
To face what ever is to be.
This day more than any day
I need to feel you near,
To fortify my courage
And to overcome my fear.
By myself, I cannot meet
The challenge of the hour,
There are times when humans help,
But we need a higher power

Thanks so much I promise I did feel you both there in spirit...I did feel pretty good yesterday, but not as well today..I have the headache thing going on, I believe it is from the decadron, and a little tummy thing going on, but other than that so far so good...Love you both!!!

We had SNOW today ...only the 2nd time for us this winter...I'm glad I never got around to prunning my roses yet! We do have some Rock Daphne in bloom....smells so heavenly...just hope this cold doesn't kill it.

To get on the computer and see the wonderful posts from all of you...Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers..

I went to the clinic yesterday for my bloodwork and my white counts were down the tubes again..MarshaB keeps saying we are going to have to do something to toughen me up.. They took me off my xeloda again, put me on a antibiotic, and I am going to have to take nupregen(sp) shots for the next 3 days to try and get my counts back up..My step-mother is going to give me the shots, so please keep us in your prayers..She gave me my procrit shot at the clinic yesterday and did real well...

It is a beautiful morning here..We had rain yesterday and everything looks so nice this morning and the sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky...

Good Morning Ladies,

Thanks for the thoughts and the prayers, they worked.. My white counts did come up and I was able to start the xeloda again Monday and finish out this round...So far I am feeling fair...I just get tired real easy...My red blood counts are still down..But they have been worse...

I go back March 23rd for another treatment and also that day I have scans to see if the chemo is working...So please keep me in your prayers...

The weather here has been beautiful, I have trees blooming and flowers coming up...Oh, how I love spring time...

Hi Ladies,

I go for a treatment tomorrow and I am wide awake again...I started the Decadron this morning and this is what it does to me..I am also getting scans, so along with our friend Marsha please keep me in your prayers...

My sister has been visiting from Wisconsin and I sure have enjoyed her...We went to lunch today and then went shopping..Loved the shopping of course, don't get to do it much since I started back on chemo...

I am hoping I will find out tomorrow how my scans went, I will let you all know..It will be long day tomorrow so it might be Friday before I post..

Marsha, I have thought about you all day...I hope and pray your scans went well...Sending hugs and prayers your way, and while I am at it, I think you need to give your little man a hug and kiss from me...I am still jealous of all his hair..

Patti, Sierra, Carrie, Sharon, Cowgirl, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers..They mean so much to me...Sending you all ((hugs)) and prayers..

Dear Cherie,
Hope you get a little "shut eye"....maybe some Ativan if you have any around....or ask for some....those pills are tiny but powerful! I had them stop the Decadron toward the end of my treatments ( last 2 or 3 ) because I , too, was up all night and it felt like it made me more depressed a few days later.
By all means, I don't want to sound like I know what's best for you...I know you know how to take care of yourself.
Glad you had some time with your sister....both of mine live in Upstate NY and I'd love for them to be closer.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.....please keep us posted. Fondly, Sharon F
