Yesterday was a very long day...I finally did get some good news...My Pet/Ct scan showed that I did not have any new spots and no disease in any of my organs...When I went last week, the lab was supposed to do a CA15-3 amd they didn't do it..I had one done yesterday and my research nurse called me this morning and gave me some good news, said it had went down about 20 points..Her and my onc figured that it had gone up since I was having more pain..So we all got a nice suprise..My onc was talking about taking me out of the research I was in and starting another chemo..But now he has decided to leave me in the research, so I go tomorrow to get chemo again...I am so proud, I did not want to change chemos so soon...
Thank You All for the thoughts and prayers! It means so much to me...Our God is awesome and he does answer our prayers..Sending (((hugs))) and prayers...
Hugs and God Bless,
Cherie

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and the hugs...I have been doing fairly well...I had chemo again Wednesday and not feeling so good right now...I believe my red blood counts are down again...I am getting short of breath and usually that is a sign that they are down..
I am going to have another pet/ct scan on June the 1st..My onc wants to make sure the chemo is working, because I am starting to get some of the good side effects from the taxotere...My fingers and my feet are getting numb and I have 4 fingernails that are pulling away from the nail bed.
..
My son and his family are coming today, so I am looking forward to that..My grandkids and son and daughter-in-law are my best medicine..
I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day!! Sending big(((hugs))) and lots of prayers..

Every day I need you Lord
But this day especially,
I need some extra strength
To face what ever is to be.
This day more than any day
I need to feel you near,
To fortify my courage
And to overcome my fear.
By myself, I cannot meet
The challenge of the hour,
There are times when humans help,
But we need a higher power
To assist us bear what must be borne,
and so dear Lord, I pray -
Hold on to my trembling hand
And be near me today.

Patti,Sierra,and Carrie,
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers..I have had a rough few weeks..Blood transfusion, neupogen shots, tired and now pain in my knees..Having trouble walking..

I did get some good news, my sister that lives in Wisconsin and my mother are coming down this Saturday to spend some time with me..I am looking forward to it..Family and friends are so special and help you to handle the hard times...
I am sending hugs, love, and prayers...
