I forgot...I just joined the "Y"! I cancelled my other membership. My friend Barb and all my Bunco pals go to the Y...so I thought this would be a better incentive to ACTUALLY go! I don't know if yours has this, but the one by me has a huge wall for mountain climbing! I'm going to try it, despite the fact that I'm petrified of heights! LOL
-------------------------
Speaking of mountain climbing...
where's Debbie? -
Michele...your house is beautiful. The kitchen is really nice..love the tiles.
I slept most of the day. My daughter has this darn virus too and was sleeping all day. I missed the ceremony in the village. Tonight marks our Memorial Day and every village has its own ceremony. There were also special ceremonies for those soldiers who fell last summer in the second Lebanon War. I watched everything on TV. They televised the ceremony in Jerusalem.
Kelly..we have a 6 day work week. Sunday is our first day of the week. Saturday is our only day off for most people though things are changing and many companies are closed on Fridays. Some schools are closed on Fridays now too and some aren't. Most places close by 3 pm in the afternoon on Fridays in order for people to get home and prepare for the Sabbath.
RoseMarie...terrific picture of you and your family. That must have been fun. Sounds like you had a great day altogether! -
Laura,
Petrified of heights? That should be a breeze now, after the bc ordeal, right?
Michele and Ravdeb: Arthritis from chemo and cataracts from steroids!!
It's only 1:30 PM here on a Sunday afternoon. The sun is blazing hot, but the wind is cool. Happy Earth Day!! -
Well, the weekend is almost over and Michele, Im not traveling anywhere for business but Ive been really busy with my other life. (Not nearly as busy as you.) Friday night was our local FFA banquet. (FFA originally stood for Future Farmers of America but has been changed to National FFA Organization with the idea that this change reflects more than just farming.) I go every year to present a small scholarship check to the senior chosen as the chapters best.
Then Saturday morning I left at 7:00 to go do errands and a little shopping in Fargo. Was exhausted by the time I got home. Got up this morning, went to Church, out to lunch with my Pastor and then went to visit my mil at the nursing home.
Just got back home and decided to catch up with you all.
Victoria, Im so happy that the surgery went well, keeping fingers crossed for a good pathology report. You do deserve a rest. I hope you can reschedule for Hawaii.
CindyGlad youre feeling better about everything and youll be in my thoughts and prayers this week and especially on Wednesday. Your balloon ride imagery sounds like the perfect sleeping pill. I usually dont have any trouble going to sleep but think Ill try it the next time they have to put a needle in my arm. Are you mooing out loud?
TracySIm cheering you on to get that close-to-home job. I live 100 steps from my job and still come dragging in some mornings!
Mary-AnneNothing good or bad to report Now that could be the new normal.
Debsorry to hear youre sick. I had the same thing last week. Thankfully it only lasted a day. I dont do sick well.
RoseMarieloved the family picture at the Komen race. Wheres John Michael? Taking the picture?
Marynice to see you keeping up with us. How are you doing?
Hey Scoobfor all the pain you went through with HD this weekend, the results are stunning and seem to have happened quickly. I admire all the work youve put in yourselves.
Sounds like most of us are finally experiencing some warm weather. The day is almost over here and Im going to go out and enjoy it a little.
And Paula my world clock says its 8:39 Monday there so expect youre either at work or on your way.
To the rest of you who Ive missed enjoy the day we have left or pleasant dreams! -
Okay...you all know by now that I LOVE TO LAUGH...well I had to share this with you...my dh frequents a discussion board for GTO/Goat owners...when they want to "bump" up a topic...they post this icon. I think it's hysterical...hope you do too. LOL
Bummer...it's not working...what happens is the dude's belly "bumps" into the girl's head... -
Laura, lol, now thats funny!!!!
not sure what the time difference is... i think 12 hours might be about right. I know when i fly over to US, i get there either BEFORE my departure time, or pretty close to it!!! of course on my way back i lose that day. Time difference is a funny thing.
Michele, forgot to mention, your house is beautiful!! When i (briefly) owned a house with my ex boyfriend, i remember that sense of achievement when i finished some project on it. If the damn real estate prices werent so ridicoulously high in Sydney, i would have loved to own something.. but unfortunately rent is all i can afford..:( i need a rich husband!!
ok i am babbling now ladies.. better get back to work! -
Hi My Sweet Sisters....
I need to ask you for your prayers. I don't know if you remember back in Sept when I went to a Breast cancer Retreat at Harmony Hill? I think I told you about a wonderful young woman that I met there - Emily. She is 29 or 30 and has two young children. When I met her in Sept. We knew that she was Stage IV and I was inspired and humbled by her positive and accepting attitude. The saying that I remember her quoting many times is, "It is what it is."
I just found out last night that Emily has been in the Hospital. Her Dr. is sending her home to Hospice care tomorrow and has given her 2-4 weeks.....
I HATE THIS DAMN DISEASE. How can this happen?
Please remember Emily, her husband and her two sweet kids in your prayers.
Sorry to bring this up, but I feel the need to ask for your support and prayers.
I love you, sisters! -
Just popping my head in the door to see if anyone's heard from Victoria...? Just wondering how she's doing is all. I'm sorry to hear about your friend Tracy...this disease breaks my heart on a daily basis it seems.
Hope the rest of you had a fantastic weekend...Victoria, thinking about you...wondering how Huey was!
Hugs
P -
Tracey - sorry about your friend - and for you. Its hard.
Rosemarie - great pic - and some sunshine for you!! Woohoo!
Deb - you will soon feel better - i promise. Either that or we will all visit you - thats enough to speed anyones recovery.
Cindy - you sound so upbeat - you go girl! No seriously - hope all goes well. You sound very strong even if you arent feeling it.
V - th eparcel i sent to Madison was returned - the post office had ticked between 'wrong address' and 'refused'.
Michelle - lovely house. My dream is a plot of land and an American style house - with wooden verandas - like the sort i would see in Huckleberry Finn. Would stick out a mile over here but i can dream !!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like you are nearly there - keep going - dont stumble at the last hurdle!
Paula - good to see you back - feel any better?
Laura - hahahahahahhahahahahha ! I think i am thankful it didnt wobble!
Everyone else - thinking of you
Had a great weekend. Friday evening i spent at my BFs house , putting the world to rights.
Saturday , i went shopping , went to the hairdressers and had my hair cut so short i dont need a hairbrush - and streaked with blond and plum. In the evening we went out to one of my fav restaurants - Santiagos - with some friends. a lovely meal , a nice bottle (s) of wine and a rather superb maracca rendition of La Vida Loco , even if i do say so myself.
Sunday we went to Alton Towers , Englands biggest theme park. we went with cubscouts but spent the day with my BF and her family. I have been tossed , shaken , frightened , soaked , upended , bumped - you name it . Had a fab day.
Have to try and get in touch with my oncologist - i have a lump under my arm. Think itr is onlt scar tissue but would rather be reassured.
Got to go - Mark chomping at the bit to get to school.
Debbie -
Tracy..I'm saddened by your news. She and her family and YOU are in my prayers.
Debbie...what is this?? So, you didn't want to be left out and you got a lump???? HUH??? I am praying for total B9 NOTHING but scar tissue for you. You are in my prayers Debbie..my dear sister in England. And if holding onto my virus would bring you all here, then so be it!!!!
Sounds like you had a wild weekend. How fun! I can't wait to meet you. I expect my cheeks to hurt from laughing so hard and smiling just because it will be so much fun!
Paula..how are you feeling? I'm still weak and have hardly eaten. Nothing feels good when I eat and I have no real appetite though I'm hungry. But nothing appeals to me. I have potatoes baking in the oven. That should fill me. I made rice for my dh who is still running to the bathroom. Will this never end? My daughter is weak but has stopped the visits to the bathroom so....hopefully the others left will stay healthy though her boyfriend is feeling very tired...bad sign. That's how I felt before it hit!
I had my TSH/FT4 redone. It went down a lot but is still above the range. My doctor wasn't in the office so I'll see him on Wed. afternoon. The FT4 actually hit borderline normal range. It wasn't that low but was below the normal range. I want him to decide for me, though, if I should go on the synthroid (it's called something different here but it's the same thing). I want to know if it's the cause of my fatigue. He said the pill would tell me that and he only wanted me to take a quarter of the pill for few days and then up it to half for another few days before seeing him again, but only if the TSH was still really high. So, I need to consult with him. I want a solution for my fatigue. If it's not that, and nothing in my blood tests show anything else, then I'll probably need to see a shrink
Cathy..sounds like you are busy in your "other life" and that's a good thing! enjoy the warmer weather, too!
We have hot, hot, dry weather here now but it is supposed to get cooler, rain here in the north and then get hot again, or warmer.
It's our Memorial Day today. I missed the ceremony last night as I was in bed, and today there was a 2 minute siren and Israel stopped and gave 2 minutes of thought to those who had fallen in the wars for Israel. Tonight Independence Day begins with fireworks and lots of celebrations. It is marked by the music on the radio. All day there is sad and quiet music to mark Rememberance Day and as evening comes in, we'll hear lots of more fun music on the radio, silly movies will come on the TV and there will be a whole different atmosphere in the country. Tomorrow there will be barbecues all over Israel to celebrate.
Be well ladies... -
Cathy - glad you had a nice weekend! John Michael is in there - he's just hard to see, his head is tucked under my arm.
Michele - my hair is a wild mess but thank you! It was pinned at the bangs on Saturday. If I put "curl up" in it I have a head full of curls, if not, it's curly from about the middle of my head down. I don't even know what to do any more but I'm just trying to let it grow!
Your house looks GREAT!! Wow!!
Laura - I'm sure the landscaping looks great! That's what we need to do but I don't even know where to start!!
Tracy - so sorry about your friend - soooo sad!! On the way home from the "race" Saturday I was so down - too many "in memory of" posters - ugh
Debbie - I'm so glad you're going to the dr! Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend!!
Have a great day ladies, gotta run and wake up the kids! -
debbie....i'm glad you're getting it checked out. it's always better than wondering yourself. where is the scar tissue located? i have so much scar tissue all over the place....my doctor is constantly resassuring me that it's just scar tissue. thinking those thoughts for you too hang in there.
tracy....thinking about your friend. this disease is so disgusting. that's the best way i can describe it.
rosemarie...i loved your race picture. i'm doing the komen race in richmond in 3 weeks. can we post all our races pictures again?
deb...i hope you feel better. my brother was sick all weekend with a stomach flu, which he then passed on to his girlfriend, who was supposed to fly back to london today to finish her internship (she was visiting him for a month on break) for law school. they spent the weekend throwing up constantly. it wears you out when you feel sick for sure. gotta eat to feel better!!!
guess what ladies? i had my hair in a ponytail for the first time this weekend. my husband was bouncing up and down he was so excited. granted, it's a teeny ponytail, but enough to put in a rubber band and go out
have a good monday! -
RoseMarie..I think your hair looks good, too. I wish I could make my hair look curly. It's getting straighter and straighter though that could be because we are having really dry weather these days.
Debbie..forgot..want to see a pic of your colored streaks in your hair!
Amy..this virus thing is the pits. As the day goes on I feel better, though. Still careful what I eat...baked potato seems to be the menu here..and rice. Our youngest apparently baked some frozen chips in the oven, my dh ate some with him and they both felt sick. I coulda told them that!
Congrats on the pony tail! I just keep cutting my hair shorter but then, I haven't pulled my hair back into a pony tail for years! I had short hair when I was your age, too. Enjoy the tail but don't swish it in anyone's face!!
I hope that Victoria is resting and taking good care of herself. I miss you, V!!! -
Debbie -
Damn...odds are it isn't something bad, but it stinks that you even have to deal with this. Sorry...I just hate this! I just hate that we have to deal with this. b9 thoughts to you...across the pond. Keep us posted.
Tracy -
I had a lump in my throat reading your post. I just can't understand "why". It is so tragic and such a shame. We need a cure! I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure this is especially hard on you, having had met her...hang in there. -
Debbie -
I couldn't resist...I got it to work, just for you! Love ya! LOL -
Where's TaDah?
-
Here doing the people's work!!
I had to get a little stern with my assistant so early this morning so I have to deal with her sulky ass for the rest of the week.
I had a pleasant weekend watching tv and sewing. I must say I am impressing myself at how good I am at it!! -
Hello everyone:
Greetings to all!
Michelle: your house looks like many that I see in my town and surrounding areas here in Western New York. All the work you are doing is certainly turning out well.
Tracy: sorry about the young woman you know. I have been asked to sing in a choir for a memorial service this coming Saturday for another young woman, age 39, who was first daignosed when she was 31. During intervals between her 3 chemo / radiation "fights" with breast cancer, she gave birth to her son, who is now 2 years old. She died a month ago in California but she grew up here in my town and her parents still live here. Many families in my church knew her when she was in school and so there is a memorial service for her. I am torn. I feel like I want to honor a breast cancer sister, even though I never met her. But, coming so soon after Natalie's funeral I feel emotional fragile and do not know if I can really sit through a service and sing a song about the love of God. this is so hard. I agree with everyone . . . when will it ever end???
We had bad news on Friday. I've told you how I occasionally go to my sister's house to dog-sit when she is out of town. Her oldest dog, a 15 year old short-haired pointer, died on Friday. For the last 6 months he was deteriorating, but things took a sharp turn for the worse in the last month. His spine was deteriorating and the blood flow to his hindquarters was being cut off. He just got so skinny and couldn't walk. Finally, the vet counseled my sister that it was time for him to be euthanized. We were all very, very sad. He was such a sweet dog. In fact, his gravestone is going to read, "Our sweet boy."
Tomorrow I begin a 12 days pet-sitting stay and it will be difficult to be there at the house without him. The new puppy, Stella, will help, along with the other 2 smaller dogs, but this older dog will be missed. I'm just the "auntie" but I love these animals, as anyone would, and when I am with them my hands almost get cramped from all the petting, scratching, and massaging for the now 3 dogs and 2 cats.
OH, Laura - the "bump" is working. Did you catch the look on the girl's face right at the end? Priceless.
Ravdeb: hope everyone is feeling better soon. My husband has developed a bad cold and is feeling very bad. I feel sorry for him but I'm keeping my distance.
Tadah: congratulations on doing well with sewing. I can imagine many dramatic and fun creations from your skillful hands.
Amy, Paula, Rosemarie, Debbie, MaryAnne, Branda, Kelly: HI!!! (I'm waving at you now.)
Victoria: hope you are feeling ok.
Cindy: praying for success and little or no difficulties this week for you.
Cathy: so good to read of you "normal" activities. I'm glad to see you posts and know you are ok, also.
I'm probably missing someone. I've got to get back to work. So glad we are sisters and have this bond.
Mary -
Deb, I am so sorry you have that dreaded flu. I hope you have a speedy recovery. My sister has it too and I hope I don't get it since I spent yesterday with her at her daughters baby shower. I might add, the longest shower I ever have been to. I was there a total of 5 hour's. I have never seen so many gifts in my life.....It took her 3 hrs just to unwrap them.
Rosemarie, What a nice family picture. I agree your hair look's really nice. You look so different, it has really gotten longer.
Michele, Your kitchen is coming along very nicely. I love the slate back splash. I tried to talk my husband into that the last time I was at Lowe's. You never know I may end up getting it and doing it myself........lol
Laura, The "Y" sound's like a good idea. I may look into that around here. I did belong to a gym but my membership expired. They just called today but I told them I had to think about it. I'm not sure what to do or if I will stick with it, that's my problem with the nice weather coming.
Tracy, Your right I HATE this DAMN DISEASE. I feel so bad about Emily she is SO young. My prayers and support go out to her and her family.
Cindy, How are you doing? You are strong and I am having good thoughts that you will be fine.
Gosh Debbie, I hope that lump turns out to be nothing. I don't even think he felt under my arm's today at my appointment, but then again I was talking so much who know's.
Amy, Congratulations on the ponytail. My hair is not even close to a ponytail.
Mary, Sorry to hear about another young woman in your church. That has to be so hard for you. I am also saddened to hear about your sister's dog.
I went to the ONC today and I actually talked them into giving me an MRI next week along with the mammogram. I am just thinking, do I really need both? I wonder if they will still do the sonogram too. OK, now I am freaking out. What is involved with an MRI.........do I go into that enclosed tube? or is it open? I also asked about the swelling in my breast and he said it is nothing to worry about and I don't need to have it massaged. -
Here is my yearly sissy photo......lol.
The one on the left is the recovering alcohol. The one on the right is the soon to be alcohol.......lol
We were playing the clothespin game at the shower as you can tell by the bottom of my shirt. -
Mary -
Gee...you have had your share of bad news lately! Sorry...I hope things are on the up swing soon.
Graycie -
Nice photo! You look great! Everything is so GREEN there! I would love to have three sisters! You know the economy's good when there's 3 hours dedicated to gift opening. Wow. Don't panic about the MRI - I am SEVERELY claustrophobic...it's all open...nothing on top of your head. You just lie on your stomach with your arms in front of you for about 20 minutes (I think 20 mins., can't remember exactly). -
OK, Thanks Laura.
She received a camcorder from one girl. -
TaDah -
I can't wait to see your handy work! Hope you'll post pics when it's done.
--------------------------
This is funny...I posted the BUMP icon in my Illinois thread and one of the girls said that's called a dicki do!...That's when the belly sticks out more than the dicki do! So funny! (Most guys in our age group have dicki dos! ) -
Graycie, you look great! But what do you mean by 'sissy' photo? Are they all your sisters?
Debbie, its gotta be scar tissue. Keep us updated!
Ravdeb, hope you'll feel better soon... I completely understand how you feel with your tests. I kinda wanted my thyroid test to show some kind of a problem, it least then i could find a solution to my weight gain. But my thyroid function is perfect. So my hormones are to blame.. Or, and i also checked my cholesterol as you suggested, and it came back perfect too! My super healthy diet must be working.
Victoria, glad to hear all is well. Keep you chin up!
Tracy, sorry about the sad news..
Amy, congrats on the pony tail! I keep trying with mine, but no luck yet...
hey ladies, has anyone noticed an increased hair loss? I am finding hair all over the bathroom floor. Dont know whether Zoladex is to blame, or my constant dieting. But i sure dont like seeing my hair anywhere BUT on my head!!
also, since i've stopped the Tamoxifen (had to 3 weeks prior to my op), my morning joint pains are much better. Or could it be the Pilates i started?
anyway, back to work for me.
Take care ladies! -
Good Evening My sisters .
Its done, its done!!! The kitchen is finally finished .I put all the plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans in the new drawers. I have to tell you it feels great to have this behind us!
I bought some orange pansies today and planted them in two planters on my front step and also went to Winners/Home Sense and bought a really nice wreath for the front door.
All that is left to do before Friday is organize the basement and clean, clean, clean.
Today was a nice day, pleasant until the wind picked up and we had a down pour around 4:30 p.m. for about 20 minutes then it was sunny again. I took the dogs out today too for an hour walk.
Laura when do you leave for Mexico again? I think you could tell me everyday and I would forget what you said! OMG my memory is in the toilet most days. I went to get a few groceries at the store and took a movie with me to return to the video store of course I forgot to return it so had to go back out later. On my way to the video store the second time I kept questioning in my mind whether or not I returned it, reached into the back seat and couldnt find it. It slid down the side of the seat and it was there. Some days I feel like my brain gets left at home when I go to work!
Yes we want to move as the maintenance on our property takes up a lot of your spare time as you can appreciate having a country property yourself. We have been here for 14 years, it is time to move to a newer home with less property. It is going to be hard though to find a kitchen that has the slate backsplash though.LOL.
I love the dude that is bumping that lady, its too funny. She does not look too impressed.
Deb that would be hard working 6 days a week, 5 is bad enough! Hope you are starting to feel better. I cant wait to meet everyone either, it is going to be a fun weekend!! I had that awful throwing up virus in January and then gave it to my husband the next day. We were a mess. Hope your family feels better soon. Try to stay hydrated with liquids.
Hope you find answers to your fatigue. Some days I drag my butt around due to lack of sleep.
Brenda is surgery an option to get rid of the cataracts. Was it picked up on a routine eye test or did you have obvious symptoms first?
Cathy thanks for the compliment on the kitchen. We have put a lot of effort into making our home buyer friendly and hopefully it sells quickly as it is tough keeping the house immaculate with two dogs and working all day.
Paula thanks for the kind words. Real estate is expensive here for our little small town of 9,000 people. It is a bedroom community where everyone lives out of the major city and commutes to work. For a nice size bungalow you are looking at about $400,000 CDN. We will have to settle for a two storey or a backsplit.
Tracyseattle that is too sad about your young friend and her young family. Hopefully she is not in pain at this time.
Debbie444 I guess land is expensive in England? You should post a picture of your new hair style, sounds funky! More than likely the lump is scar tissue but it is good to get it checked out for your own peace of mind.
Rosemarie We can compare curls in August. I bet I have more!!! Thanks for the compliment on our house. We have worked hard, still lots to do.
Amy I am grinning from ear to ear, a ponytail, wow good for you! I have had my hair trimmed about 4 or 5 times within the last 8 months that I have had hair. Soon I hope to have a ponytail too but it will probably take longer due to the curls.LOL.
TracyNy I liked the way you promptly came running when we sent the search party out for you, ha ha!
Victoria glad to hear you are recovering nicely from surgery. Which island are you going to?
Mary I feel for you sister. Loosing a pet that you love is hard. We put our beloved boy to sleep last June. He was a wonderful german shephard and had such a great disposition. Sorry you are hurting .
Graycie love the picture of you and your sisters. I have three sisters too. They are all so pretty like you! I have never had an MRI. I wanted an ultrasound with my mamo at my last followup in February. I never want to be caught off guard again. My first mamo did not show my tumour so I am not a big fan of them alone for that reason.
The slate backsplash does look really sharp. It is a lot of work to put on the wall. I was watching the contractor do it. He spent a good portion of yesterday doing just that and grouting it.
Here is the final product minus the fridge, stove and some touch up on the wall where the counter hit it during installation.
Have a great night ladies.
Love you all!
Michele -
Paula -
My hair has thinned in the last year - thanks to TAMOXIFEN! It is a common s/e, and I've talked to many girls here who have had the same prob. I know it stinks! Mine has thinned especially at the temples both left and right. I told the girl that cuts my hair, to let me know if gets to a point when I should start thinking about a hair transplant! LOL I'm surprised you had to stop the Tamox. for your upcoming surgery...when I had the Prophyl in December, I didn't have to stop it. The weight gain is definately from the Tamox. also. I am steadily gaining...keep buying bigger jeans...but am hoping my new membership to the "Y" will curtail this. I always think...I guess I can't have a thick head of hair, my size 4 clothes AND be alive! LOL Hang in there.
Meechele - (my bell)
Do you know that song! LOL You should be very proud of your hard work and artistic talents! You will reap the benefits at selling time! By now you've become such a pro...you could certainly install a slate backsplash at your new love pad! LOL Is your driveway gravel? Ours is and if yours is...I have a hint. Yes, I am leaving on Thursday! Gawd...I have alot to do though! Pedicure, manicure, packing, etc. I'm just not as organized as I used to be. And, we're leaving and our basement isn't even finished yet! Painting starts tomorrow, which should end on Thursday/Friday...while we're basking in the sun. That was funny about the video store. Again yesterday, I couldn't find Buddy's milk bone biscuits...I finally found them in the fridge! Scary to say the least.
-----------------------------
Hope everyone is having a nice evening. Happy thoughts to all of you. -
Laura - ha, ha....I hear that song alot. My sisters use to sing it to me when I was younger, not so much anymore.
Yes, we have a gravel driveway, I'm curious....hint?
I'm laughing about the milk bone biscuts. I seem to zone out sometimes like the other day in the store the lady behind the counter asked me something and I said pardon, didnt hear what she asked me! I think the lack of estrogen is reducing our itty bitty brains down or something...
I get so excited just before we leave on our annual trip down south, have usually packed about 2 weeks before we leave.LOL. Thursday is coming up pretty quick!
Love
Michele -
Hi,
another young woman dying. I will think of her Tracey.
Hope V and C are recovering and only get good news.
Michelle are you related to Mike Holmes, your reno is looking great. And Laura is right, you can buy a slate back splash for your next place.
Rosemarie, nice pic, I did see the little guy under your wing. My first thought was I thought you had three kids, then I looked closer and there he was.
I went to the Opera on Saturday . I have seen live opera in NYC and Paris and did not love it. I had a hard time staying focused as the story line was hrd to follow, in Italian. But this was a broadcast from the MET Opera House in NYC. And there were subtitles...so even I could follow along. It was beautiful and funny(the Barber of Seville). I would definitely go again.
Saturday night my 15 year old had 8 kids for aa Awake-over. Yup, their plan was to stay awake all night. And they did. I was making pizza at 1 am and they had me up at 730 to make pancakes. I only live once....I am still tired from it. I haven't inspected the Wreck room yet. I did ask them to clean it up. Maybe tomorrow I will venture down stairs.
I filed my income Tax, and yahoo I had planned correctly and had saved the right amount. It is so hard when you are self-employed to put the money away and to get the right amount. It is a huge relief to have no extra bill right now.
Debbie, I sure hope your lump is nothing. Fists up!
Kelly, where are you?
Ravdeb, I feel your fatigue in your posts. There is a lot of V and D around here right now too. Remember drink plenty, don't worry too much about your solids. And rest!
Fists up! -
is anyone watching "the bachelor" on tv or am i the only loser? i know that's a dumb question, but i'm just wondering
-
Meechele -
I pm'd you.
Mary-Anne -
I file quarterly taxes, because I am self employed too. I hate it! It seems less "taxing" when it's withdrawn from a weekly check! dh hates hearing me bit** about it every 3-4 months! LOL
