Oh Sue , that cat is cracking me up!lol I think the more ornery they are , the more I like them. Cats just seem to walk to the beat of their own drum , and I love that in anyone.

You can do it, Sue! It will put you one step closer to that light at the end of the tunnel. I can't figure out why your chemo is so much longer and more aggressive than what the rest of us had. I'm sure your onc knows what he's doing. You are kicking some MAJOR bootface a$$, Sue! You are my hero!
Love and hugs,
Karen
-
...... But you are all my heroes...I could never do this bootface battering without you ....
We have so much to live for sisters .... so much.... if we get through this and continue to be well and keep our friendships that would be a dream come true...
I AM TRULY TRULY HONOURED TO HAVE MET YOU ALL xxx
We can get some good times in without bootface...and lets all.. after this live... in.... and for the moment...lets not look ahead...if we look ahead and get scared etc ...then it only wrecks the time the love the life the energy we have now.... weve all got a one way ticket in life ...lets use it wisely...and stamp it as much as possible xxx

Lisa, please try to get an appt with your doc. It seems like you've been sick forever. Maybe you need an antibiotic or something.
Take good care, sweetie!
Love and hugs,
Karen

Well said, Sue! We're all honored to know you too. You're a very special person.

Sue....You can do this sweetie!! You are strong, strong, strong!! Just think only 4 more after tomorrow. We will all be there with you, holding your hand, telling you jokes! I love you Sue, and thank YOU for all of your support to all of us here. YOU, brought us all together, and I am very blessed to be a part of this wonderful group.
Nancy...congrats on the meds being approved. What a relief for you.
Mel, how are you feeling today? I know you said you weren't feeling well the other day. I hope you are doing better. What day do you leave for your visit with your family? I mailed the books to you today, you should get them tomorrow.
I didn't call the doctor today. I know, I know...I was bad! I just felt a little better, so I didn't. I went grocery shopping (cause the cupboards were bare) and ran a few errands, came home and feel bad again. My head is not as painful as it was, but my throat is a little sore and I am still somewhat nauseaus. I really think it is just a bug, that doesn't want to leave. A few people at work had simular sypmtoms, and they said it hung around for over a week.
Well...going to take my lazy, do nothing self and lie back down. I hate this!!!!!!!!! NO get up and go at all! I want the OLD ME BACK!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Much love to all of you!!
xoxo

Sue, here's a tip I learned from another board I posted on when I was going through my divorce. Write down the names of all of us here with you on the yellow brick road and take it with you (one lady on the divorce board wrote our names in a big heart on her hand when she had to go to court, but I suggest a piece of paper is more sanitary :-)).
Look at the names when things get tough, and know that we are all there for you...with you...taking OUR drugs, too...fighting this thing called bootface.
And I envy your chocolate binge. I gave it up last week when I had to determine why my face was breaking out like a hormonal 14 year old. Sadly, I think it was all the chocolate I was eating. Maybe I can sneak one chocolate bunny over the weekend. But I think it's banned for the duration.

No luck of the Irish for me...maybe because I'm mostly Swedish, do you think?
No email, no internet all day until just now. What could be worse???
Glad to see you, Sue! You're gonna make it. I love Nancy's suggestion about the list of names. How potent is that!!!
Because my brain is total fog, I can't follow who's who today, so healing thoughts to you who aren't feeling so well, good luck to those who are traveling, cheers to those having a great day. Did I miss anyone?
Instead of the good day I was determined to have yesterday, I went into meltdown mode. Stoic, hardly every shed a tear, buck up and deal Judie cried because her internet connection was slow because her son was using all the bandwidth. In the evening she had a no-holds-barred crying fit over daughter-in-law staying home from a family get-together (long boring story), packed a suitcase and was going to run away from home. It all turned out well, but I'm sooooooo embarassed.
A chat with my oncologist confirmed my suspicion that the nearly intolerable level of pain, brain fog, psychological meltdown are very likely the Arimidex. I'm skipping two weeks to see if that is the case, and have an appointment with her after that. I HATE THIS CRAPPY DISEASE! I WANT MY LIFE BACK!
Okay, that's off my chest. I'll try to focus better tomorrow. Reading all your posts just now has helped a lot...thanks! It's good to get lost in other's joys and struggles for a few minutes.
Judie

Hi all you dear and wonderful women!
Just a really quick post from me (you are probably all asleep anyway!)
Jule - so great that your drugs have come through!
Sue - sending you big hugs, prayers and supportive thoughts for your treatment tomorrow/today.
Lisa - please see a doctor - this has gone on long enough and I hate to think of you still feeling sick. ((((())))))
Melody - love all your great pics - you know just the right ones to put on here.
Judie - sounds very sensible to give yourself a break from those meds for a little while - maybe they could change you onto a different drug?
Hi to everyone I haven't mentioned yet.
Love to you all!
Jane xooxoxxoxo

Sue, you will do fine tomarrow as we will all be there with you to get ya through!!!!!!!!
You have had so little rest this past week...Im happy to hear that you crashed like that....
Im glad you liked the tale about my nephew and his cow.....that kid is a god send.....his dad is my youngest brother who ended up being a single father about a 1 and a 1/2 ago...Robs mom just doesnt seem to take any interest in him unless its for the support check my brother was sending her.....little brother finally said enough and took custody...so as time goes on you will hear lots about Rob...he's kind of become like a second son and we are really close.
Well, its getting late and my little eyes are tired.....I will have a long day at work tomarrow as I purchased a new copier/printer for our office and we are going to set it up so that everyone in the building has access to it.....our IT isnt the smartest duck in the pond with the network type issues & since I use to work in the computer industry and generally know more than this IT guy, the boss asked me to work with this guy tomarrow until everything is working right.....
Send happy thoughts to all of you and hoping everyone will have a GREAT DAY!!!!!
Hugs
Jule

Well, I'll be away from my desk most of the day - will check back in later.
Hugs,
AE
