OH MY GOODNESS! KAREN, that is soooo cute! I don't know why, but I could not remember Voo Doo doll. What a darling pix!
How is our Sue? I don't see a recent post. Hopefully she is asleep. And Ulla too. Ulla, you husband does not like the cat for two reasons. One, he wants you to love only him and, two, cats are very independent and men don't like that in their homes. ME MACHO MAN!!! Grunt, grunt. That's modern man.
Anyway, today we signed up for a cruise to the Amazon River. I hope we don't get the Norovirus, we have already had it a couple of cruises ago. Miserable, but what can you do?
Love you all, not much news from here.
Hugs, Shirlann -
Oh my gosh, Shirlann! The Amazon? That sounds so EXOTIC! I really must do more traveling. One of the many things that bootface has taught me is that I need to stop putting things off that I want to do. Traveling is one of those things.
Hugs to all. I'll be back later.

Just checking in to see if the voodoo magic did its thing. Hope our Sue posts soon.
Shirlann - how jealous am I??? WOW!! When are you going???
Hugs,
AE

Hi Shirlann - wow - the Amazon - that sounds sooo exotic and exciting. I have only travelled to western countries - very enjoyable but I would love to see some very different cultures like South America, India and Mongolia. When are you going on this cruise? I hope Walt is feeling ok today.
Hi Karen, hope you are ok and resting. When do you start rads? It will be so great when you have finished all your treatments. Then you can start planning the rest of your life - what will come first - your nursing training or perhaps a bit of travel?
Sue - am thinking of you and wondering when you will see your medicos and show your emotions and pain to them in a raw and honest display (a mega-meltdown) which had better convince them that they need to be doing a lot more for you than they currently are. I need to make a voodoo Tom doll and stick my needles into it . I wish we could all get him alone in a room and give him a very strident lecture.
Thinking of you all, including Lisa, Wren, Ulla, Lucy, Angie, Dawn, Sheila, Mia, Melody, Valsul, Karyll, Valerie & Bill, Tender and everyone else.
Love & hugs

AE
-
Auntie E ... I am going downstairs to phone hotline.... just to see if this is normal xxx Back in min xxx
-
GREAT!!! I am here waiting.............
-
Yes, Sue, this is too much blood from too many places. You may have to run out there. A body can only take so much. I am not going to talk long, you will be back soon.
Our oldest grandson, Chris, will live here to take care of Dusty and Cleo. She thinks she is a dog. She runs down the stairs and is so hurt that she can't go in the car with us. I feel terrible. Little thing.
Love you, honey, Shirlann -
Just told the practioner everything and she was really shocked. She is phoning me back in 10 mins.... I am such a fool not asking for help ...thankyou so much Auntie E ....
They are shocked at the blood loss etc xxxx
I will await there advice... she is going to find out if it is normal and then see if I can get anything off my own doc on Thursday... she wanted me to go down...but I cant drive ...took sleep meds now .... and its not deadly deadly urgent xxx
THANKYOU !!!
-
Just please do whatever they say, OK???
-
They want me to go in tonight .... however as d/h is at work and the boys are here..I am going in tomorrow...they are very concerned about the bleeding and lack of clotting.... thankyou AE so much ...I am so rubbish at knowing the limits and asking for help .
What about work
Tom will go mad... I have to finish the stock tomorrow morning ...maybe I will go in til 11 and then go the hospital ....
I am so relieved..... I will get some special meds for my mouth etc....there is no way this is normal..... she said they may lower the dose or change the regime.... as I have had a lot of chemo. I got told off for working... she was astounded ... xxx
Now I am going to sit here and plan whether I can rush to work for bit before I go ... they may keep me in hospital as they booked a bed
-
Sue, just remember the whole reason you are doing the chemo is to ensure your future health -- and so is doing whatever needs to be done to deal with chemo's adverse effects.
As for work: if someone got hit by a car and was in hospital, they wouldn't be able to get to work that day either, right? These things happen. If you're in a hospital bed -- against your will! -- maybe that will wake Tom up as to the reality of what you're going through.
Just my thoughts.
Ann
-
Yes Ann xxx I am not going to work ...now I am able to think .... it is serious and I do FEEL very ill ... too ill to work ... I will have 2 days off instead of one which is like gold dust to me..
Thankyou xxx
-
that's good, Sue. Just get to the hospital as soon as you can.
Love,
Ann
-
I am so relieved that you rang that hotline Sue. Is there any way you can get an ambulance or could a friend drive you to hospital? I wish I was there - I would bundle you up and take you there immediately! Could your dh possibly let us know how you are if they keep you in there for a while?
I am sending you my most loving thoughts and praying that they will help you to feel a lot better in hospital.
Gentle hugs and love,
Jane xxxx
-
Oh, Sue, I am so glad you made the call. I know it is difficult to go tonight, BUT YOU MUST GO FIRST THING TOMORROW - don't worry about work. If Tom were you do you think he would be worried about work - I DON'T THINK SO!!!
Please have someone post if you need to stay in the hospital - I will be sick with worry. Maybe one of the boys???
Love ya girlfriend (UB is worried as well)

OMG another needle I have still got loads of bruises and hard veins from last time...I forgot!!!!!
OH grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr BOOTFACE YOU ARE NOT ON!!!! GET THE HELL OUT !!!!
-
Don't make me get the flying monkeys...................
-
Goodness, just caught up on Sue...so sorry you are having the bleeding.
Sounds like your platelets have fallen too low.
I agree with the others, it would be best to go to the hospital tonight.
Just call your ex, and explain it's an emergency and he needs to help you.
Or call an ambulance and the boys could get to ride in it along with you.. sounds scary but at times you have to do unusual things.
Please Sue, you need some attention now.
So sorry,
Tender -
AE
I promise
