DEAR SISTERS I FOUND THIS FUN TEST IN ANOTHER THREAD AND THOUGHT THAT IT WOUILD BE A NICE WAY TO SPEND SOME NICE TIME WITH IT ...LOVE U ALL

Below is a Dr.   Phil's test.  ( Dr. Phil scored 55; he did this test on Oprah - she got a 38.)  Some folks pay a lot of money to find this stuff out!

Read on, this is very interesting!

Don't be overly sensitive!   The following is pretty accurate and it only takes 2 minutes.   Take this test for yourself and send it to your friends.

The person who sent it placed their score in the e-mail subject box.  Please do the same before forwarding to your friends (send it back to the person who sent it to you.)  Don't peek, but begin the test as you scroll down and answer.

Answers are for who you are now --- not who you were in the past.   Have pen or pencil and paper ready.

This is a real test given by the Human Relations Dept. at many of the major corporations today. It helps them get better insight concerning their employees and prospective employees.    It's only 10 Simple questions, so grab a pencil and paper, keeping track of your letter answers to each question.

Make sure to change the subject of the e-mail to read YOUR total.  When you are finished, forward this to friends/family, and also send it to the person who sent this to you   Make sure to put YOUR score in the subject box.

    3.    (a) 4     (b) 2     (c) 5     (d) 7     (e) 6
    4.    (a) 4     (b) 6     (c) 2     (d) 1

    9.   (a) 7     (b) 6     (c) 4      (d) 2     (e) 1
    10. (a) 4     (b) 2     (c) 3     (d) 5     (e) 6     (f) 1
Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS :  Others see you as someone they should 'handle with care.'  You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant.  Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS : Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure.   They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS :  Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS :  Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical.  They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest.  Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return.  Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS:  Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy.  They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder.  It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then , usually decide against it.  They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS:  People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything!  They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist.  Some people e think you' re boring.  Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Now forward this to others, and put your score in the subject box of your e-mail, like this:  Dr. Phil's Test, I'm a  '(fill in the blank)'

Sue...Olivia said hello to you too.  I am off tomorrow.  I see my breast surgeon in the morning, to go over that mammy I had.  I know it is all fine.  I will have her take a look at my leg.  I will ask about possibly antibiotics, since I have my surgery coming up.

Shirlann, the test scores (what they mean) are right on that post with the test.  So far, we are all in the same group...go figure! haha.  Mel, Sue....take the test!!

Thank you for the welcomes. I like the quiz, I scored 48.

    •     Lisa the T is for Taxotere. The first week was a little rough but better this week. I did learn to take it day by day.

Bah, I just lost my whole text box. That's annoying. Is okay but maybe I won't be so wordy this time.

Ulla I will not be sharing your anniversary last tx with you as I went to cancer clinic to get bloodwork done today and they took one look at me and said, no chemo for your tomorrow. I started to cry because I feel and have felt so awful. The taxotere has not been good to me at all. They sent me off for bloodwork regardless but feel that I am allergic to the taxotere and should not have another one of those. I will have to see the onc first to see if he wants to give me another FEC instead.

SO they phone me later and I have appt with onc on Tuesday. They only have two here and mine is away...so it is a new guy. But they are concerned because my liver counts are way out of whack. My white counts are fine, but they wanted to know if I had been doing any herbals or anything which I have not. My in depth blood test were just fine about 6 weeks ago. They state that chemo does not cause liver issues as a rule. Of course I didn't have the presence of mind to ask what do you mean "out of whack" nor did I have the presence of mind to ask if this may indicate mets. I have had pain and bloating in my upper abdomen for a couple of days, I thought it was my ongoing constipation issues so resolved that (I WAS constipated) but the bloated and pain feelings really did not go away.

SO armed with no accurate information - I am seeking out answers to liver mets signs and symptoms. Well of course, they are bloating and pain as I described... and I find myself in my mind at the beginning and on hold. Waiting to find out what is wrong and what it will mean. I will have more blood taken on Tuesday, then I will talk to the oncologist to find out what the "new plan" is - that is what the nurse said. I may have to phone the clinic tomorrow and see if there is a possibility that it is mets... Cos I don't know if I can wait till Tuesday. But then -  am also afraid to phone and ask and may wait till Tuesday after all. I am going to stay with a friend on the weekend cos she is tired of me going through all of this alone as well.

I was scheduled for rad oncologist on the 15th of Feb Ulla, so we are very close indeed. I don't know what this new thing will mean though so again.. on hold. I HATE IT ALL.

I am glad you are through the red devil though Sue. Like Ulla I had the FEC... I too wonder about the combination. However, it is what it is and I guess whatever this liver stuff is.. it is too.

Light and Love to everyone!!!! Cross your fingers for me.

I scored a 41.  Wow, every one of us who has taken it so far has fallen into the same category.  No wonder we all get along so well!

Yes, Lisa and Ulla, I'll be doing rads.  I'll start sometime after my bladder surgery--probably in late February or early March at the very latest.  I'm not too worried about it.  It's going to be a pain having to go in there five days a week, but I'll survive.  I guess it wouldn't be any different than going to work every day.

Take care of that leg, Lisa.  I did a dumb thing and cut my finger while washing a knife the other night.  I was praying that my platelets were ok and that I'd clot.  It took a while--boy I was bleeding pretty badly.  It thumped!

    Take care girls.  Sweet dreams.

    Hugs,

    Karen

Karyll, I am crossing my fingers and toes for you.

Sue, congrats on making it through your last Red Devil!

Karen, you look so happy in Leavenworth, and what a nice family you have too... I love the pink hair of your daughter... my son, who is now 23 had dark blue hair for a while--and he's six feet tall... I had a blue smurf giant son. It was weird, but harmless, thank goodness.

Welcome Angie! You are in the right place.  What wonderful, kind, supportive ladies here... really.

I'm thinking of you all... Lisa, honey, Shirl, Ulla, AE, etc.... so many of you...  Hope you are having moments of good things each day.

Ulla, thank you for reminding me to count my blessings.  You are right. I am lucky to live in a place that has medicine and treatments.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

    All of you, thank you.

Oh, dear sisters - so many of you are going through hard times. Sue with this last, very cruel red devil; Ulla with your next chemo on Friday and dreading it (but so good that it is the last one! Congratulations - you rock, girl!); Karyll, I just hate to think that you have to wait until next Tuesday, feeling like crap and with all sorts of fears whirling around in your mind - I so wish I could give you a hug right now; Karen, still one more chemo and then your bladder surgery - as if chemo and rads aren't enough! Lisa, injured leg and surgery coming up - you need some pampering and TLC  (that goes for everyone here!);,Angie, just starting your treatments - so glad you have joined us, Mia, still in treatment - please post again and let us know how you are; Val with mets...(has anyone heard how she is?) and anyone else who is having a rough time - sending you all my warmest and most loving thoughts and praying for you. Thanks for the quiz Ulla - mine was 46. I love doing quizzes.

Ladies - I was told I had 2 years to live in 93.  I am still here.  chin up.

Everyone is different.  Face the fear, feel it; than go through the valley of

death.  The key word is through.  Dont ask yourself in the morning, how do

I feel today?  Just get up, and go.  I felt numb at times; I went to helpful

meetings.  i helped others if I was able; less time to focus on my own fears.

Did I sometimes in midafternoon crawl into bed to feel the warmth and

comfort?  Absolutely.  Did I drive out into the country and then scream and

yell and cry at the top of my lungs in the car?  You bet.  Its not conven-

tional, but who cares?  Take care of your needs; expect to have more good

days than bad and you will!  All we can do is all we can do.  When you feel

stress, close your eyes and picture a mountain top with flowers, a winding path, and eagles soaring above, and YOU ARE THERE!

YOU ARE NEVER REALLY ALONE, YOU KNOW.  GOD IS THERE. HUGS, ALL!

    dear karyll..

am out of words really..wat can i say to make u feel lil bit better with this horrable waiting time till tuesday???

i was thinking about the signs and symptoms u had with taxotere..

i phoned my sister in UK (she is  a doc,)..

i asked her about liver met. signs ,,,..

i felt better that she said the most common is to vomit (just similar to food poisonning signs and symptoms)she said that there will be clear abdomenal pain ,,,not just bloating,,,,

she said that the signs that u described r most look like allergy more than mets,,,

thats why they keep doing those tests for the blood (to c the liver and kidney andetc,,,function )with taxotere as it affects its work....

beside that when i remember the lady that i have met in the hospital in my last treatment and i told u about her bad luck of liver mets ,,,told me that she felt exactly like my sister said (food poisonning signs..throwing up and abdomenal pain)

i hope i can help more but this all wat i could have about ur signs...

i asked my cancer nurse also for u she said that it is closer to be taxoter allergy ....am crossing my fingers for u dear karyll..

i hate waiting too...hopping that it will come all well....

    wat can i say more????????

    i will keep praying for u ....

    huggs sister,,,

I just scanned the last 3 pages, what happened over night?

I just have to tell someone, I went to see the oncology surgeon yesterday for my 6 month appointment and he has cut me loose! No more follow-ups with him unless I have any problems. I know that it sounds like I had it easy, no chemo or rads, but I helped my mom through those treatments in 2001, I was lucky that mine was found prior to becoming invasive. I go back to my PS next week for my nipple tattoos. Mel, you will do fine in your surgery.

Sisters, just a quick hello.  I have to leave for my breast surgeon appt.  Nothing big...just going over my last mammy.

But...I wanted to tell Karyll that I am thinking, praying and crossing everything for her!!! I too feel as Ulla does...I think this is just your reaction to Taxotere.  I tollerated Taxotere..but I had those symptoms you speak of!! I was bloated (very), I had abdominal pain as well.  My blood work always came back ok.  My oc put me on a diuretic, because of my bloating...I could not even get into most of my pants.  So...it was all the taxotere...and I am praying for u...just a side effect.

A quick hello and welcome, and thank you to mjmitchell...your words were welcoming and calming and inspirational!! How very true...take on each day....THANK YOU!!  U have made me feel better about everything..and hopefully our dear sisters on here will feel the same.

    I am off...running late..

    xoxo
