Hi Everyone!
Heard the news about the lunch. Count me in. Just let me know the place and time.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up. I hope to see some new faces, too. Bonnie - I'm almost an hour and half from Livonia, too. So if I can do it, you can too!
I also live on a dirt road, so my car will be filthy.
Hope to see everyone soon.
Irene

Me too, guys. I'm up for lunch--just let me know where and when.
-
Yay, we are getting a nice group together!
So, Is it Bravo's in Livonia on the 26th? They take reservations.
What is a good time - 11:30 a.m.?
Kay - Who is that handsome guy in your avatar?
Irene - I'm on a dirt road also and have a dog crate in the back seat that has become a permanent fixture.
Denise - I know you've navigated the round-about on Lee Road so this trek should be a breeze for you.
Bonnie - It probably is just a few major roads - I-94 East all the way to 275-N and you are practically there. I'll pm my cell phone if you get lost.
I'll link a map if you want.
It will be so nice to catch up with the oldies and meet the newbies.
Nancy
-
Nancy,
Count me in...can you go ahead and make the reservation after a count? (11:30 works well for me..) Thanks!
Sure will be nice to see everyone..and meet some new ladies too!

Ok, I got an email from Irene (thanks by the way) as I've also been AWOL from bc.org. Lunch on the 26th sounds great. I may not be able to make it though as we're leaving for a month in California a few days later and I have to get stuff shipped out around then. I will do my best b/c I'd love to see everyone and catch up. Besides the food at Bravo is delicious!!!!
Gerri
-
Count me in...and I think Barb and Connisue. Looking forward to it.
-
I may be bringing someone, also. A co-worker who had a double mast last month.
-
Nancy - I have a map so count me in too.
My daughter who lives in Shelby may meet us at Bravo's - depends on her schedule.
thanks
Bonnie

Hi All,
Nice to see everyone planning on attending next weekend:-)!
Geri, I personally have never eaten at Bravo's, but Larry has and just raved about the food. Plus, I think it is a covenient location for everyone to meet.
Quick question to anyone? What has happened to Judy B? Do any of you keep in contact with her? Michelle? Seems like some of the gals are not on this message board anymore.
I'm not sure if you post the get together anywhere else on the "community". This new site definetly has been challenging.
Ok...looking forward to seeing all your pretty faces next Saturday--and PAT please bring pics of the babies!:-)
-
Hi, Sphynx. My avitar? Well, that's my guardian angel, Angel. She was a beauty queen in North Carolina, tearing up the bench show circuit. They brought her a handsome man and were all set to make beautiful puppies when they discovered she had a cataract. That was about the same time my husband died. I caught up with Angel (and that WAS her name) about the time she was done with her surgery. She is (as the breeder predicted she would be) the love of my life. I am certain that Eddie set this up for me. Without her, I would be lost.
-
Can somebody post an address for Brovo's please? Mapquest needs one.....

Here is the address for Bravo's;-)

Sounds good to me! Glad to see we will have some new faces too! We've got to find Anne and let her know..........I know she gave me her email and such........so I'll try to look her up.
Anne, if you're reading, give me a holler..........I really would like you to go next Saturday.
Ummm...............yea about the dirt roads and dirty cars..........I'm with you!
Hugs,
Denise
-
I should have Anne's email from the Komen Race. I sent her a PM in case I cannot find it.
We have a new member, Susan67 who will be joining us. I caught her attention on the Moving Beyond thread. Should I post anyplace else?
Is Rhonda from the Race online? She already signed up for this year's walk.
Ilene and Irene - such nice old fashioned names that you picture a little old lady aunt. Both are young!
Susieloutoo and Ilene, my BC care is through St. Joe's and my GP through UofM.
I promised Mary (kats) that I'd bring my camera Saturday. She is missing out on all the fun.
-
Mary can't make it???? I know, it is a long way for a lunch.............
Nancy, had to laugh when you said if I could drive the Lee Rd. loop de loops I could find Livonia!!!! I still just close my eyes, hold my breath and wake up when I hit Pennys!! That thing will never make sense to me!!
Looking forward to seeing all, and meeting our new friends!
Hugs,
Denise
-
Oh Mary, I'm sorry you won't be able to come but I know first hand (from our return trip from Chicago just a few hours ago) just how unpredictable the weather can be in the winter and how the roads can turn!!! I know we'll be meeting again when the weather is better and I hope you can make it then. Of course, you'll be coming for the Walk too, right??? Take care - miss seeing you on the boards but then again, I'm not there nearly as much anymore either.
Hugs,
Pat
-
What fun we will have....
S
-
Rockysmom - JUDY if you are reading this we would love to have you join us for lunch also. Judy was the one that broke her foot/toe right before the Komen walk and rode the trolly.
Bonnie
-
I made reservations for Saturday. The only problem is they do not give separate checks and will automatically take 18% gratuity (like Hockey Town)
. If noone has a problem with that, we are on for Saturday!
This will be fun and a nice distraction from this cold weather.
Nancy
-
Nancy,
Thanks for the update for the meet-up at Bravo's and making the call for reservations:-)
Hoping to see you all there!
Lorie

How many of us will be there? We should get some name tags to fill out.....

Susieloutoo - I made reservations for +- 15 and I have name tags left over from our last soiree! I think we are all set.
Faith&50 - You could make a detour from Vegas and join us! I envy your energy. Are you going to join our Komen team this year? Can't wait to see pics of the twins when they arrive.

Hey Michiganders!
Looking forward to seeing all tomorrow! I'm about 95% sure I'll be there.....Only thing that will stand in my way is if the roads are yucky..(I'm a chicken!) or if I have to go back in to my Mom's..........I think she is okay, but her dumb doctor never called me back today.
Hugs,
Denise

Hi Dear Sisters,
Just wanted to drop in to say hi. I'm in San Diego for the month of Jan visiting my son and family. New Granddaughter born 1/8. Named Saya and she is adorable. Having a heavenly time with them and can't beat this weather! My Amaia turns 3 on 2/4. Then back to Michigan weather. Hoping I can meet up with y'all sometime after that so I can meet you. I'm coming up on my 1 year Anniv in Feb and I'm expecting NED (no evidence of disease).
Love and prayers and stay warm and safe! Linda
