Thanks, Genesis. I guess I'll give it a rest now. From my perspective, I can't find any of the kind of information in your posts--whether it be published papers, personal details or program details--that would engage me and spark an interest into further investigation. I can't shake the feeling that this is a marketing effort, rather than a truly personal recommendation, because there is no substance. It's as if all the details of Shulze program have been carefully avoided leaving only your enthusiasm.
This one doesn't call to me, but if your program helps you & others live a better life, I wish all of you well.

"There is SO MUCH to tell and we are more than willing to share my experience thus far."
Genesis,
I went over to his official site to look up the herbal ingredients of some of his elixirs. I have something similar in my fridge from New Chapter right now. I also looked at the ingredients of his other herbal remedies. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Am I missing something? One of them could give a person high blood pressure, licorice root. Echinacea seems to be a favorite, and there is a little excitement over it being a cancer fighter, so what other herbs are his cancer fighters? You must of have list of herbs that your taking. Thanks

Genesis,
We understand the anger to face this fight. We understand the difficulty of decisions. We ask the hard questions every day. I can't express enough my empathy for your position.
At this point, I am at the beginning of this journey that can turn on a dime....but isn't that life anyway?
Probably I fall in the group of thinkers who examine all sides of the questions....and leave my mind open to choose what is right for me. I hope that I don't add pressure to others here with my opinions....they are all trying to get through this very hard challenge as best as they can.
A family member who is battling stage IV...for many years now...taking the new medications that help her to continue life....along with the other natural health remedies of common sense...she survives....still goes to work...participates in family life ups and downs.
Another of my friends...stage IV....after several years through the therapies....passed away last year after much effort on her part to battle this disease using every tool in the arsenal.....including those that seem supported by the references that you shared.
There is no magic bullet...there is only life with all of its' failings and triumphs.
We are all of us here to wrap you in our arms of comfort with shared knowledge of the roads travelled. The ladies here collectively offer much wisdom and consolation.
We are not the enemy. Peace to you and your family.
Best wishes to all ... as always. -
Dear Blundin,
I surely do not understand where you are coming from with your comments. We have not experienced anger - from the very beginning of this diagnosis we have put our trust in the Lord, knowing full well that it was for a purpose. It was not difficult for us to make a decision as to what to do concerning treatment once we found the 30 Day Incurables program.......In fact, it has been an amazing and wonderful journey for us. Our faith is in God and how He has made these miraculous bodies of ours to be capable of healing themselves if we are putting the right things in and eliminating the right way. We are NOT attacking the disease but making the body healthy so it is capable of healing itself from the disease. Dr. Schulze has told us how to do this and we are experiencing the results. We are more than grateful.
-
Dear Rosemary44,
You quoted me from the very first comment we made on this board. Since then we have been accused of many things when the only thing we ever wanted to do was share what has been so wonderful for us and my diagnosis.....If anyone is really interested they can go to the videos we have mentioned numerous times which are FREE to view and that we do not benefit from in any way. In regards to your question about the herbs, it is more than just taking the herbs - it is a whole health regimen that is applied here. The herbs used are pretty common throughout the natural healing realm but they are all used in conjunction with the healing regimen. There is no magic bullet here. There is a chain of events that takes place to achieve healing. This was a difficult undertaking but even though it might sound crazy, it was a joyous undertaking and continues to be with every blood test and tumor marker testing results that we receive
-
Dear BlindedByScience,
ALL the information you are seeking from me is on the FREE videos for you to view.....I could not possibly express it unless I was to type a thesis here. My Husband always says "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink".
We wish you the best as well.
-
Dear Genesis, I guess what we,(skeptics of alternative medicine), need are some long term survival statistics from alternative medicine treatments, survivor stories, stories of hope, etc.Kathy Prihode God bless you!!!
-
Genesis,
I did watch a couple of his video's, and I found one to do for a cold, otherwise called a plague tonic. Cayenne pepper, white onion, garlic, ginger root, horseradish root, blended with Bragg's apple cider vinegar. I'm going to try the recipe. If it doesn't work, I'm going straight to rum, thick apple cider, with a cinnamon stick, heated.
I'm trying to find the video that talks of the herbs he uses, so I can look them up. If you would know which one that is, I'd appreciate it.
-
Looks like a money making scheme to me...Sorry! Just my opinion...
-
Dear ERS2006,
You have not done your research. The proof is in the "puddin" for me!! I am really impressed if you found a doctor that treats you for free!!
-
genesis, I've not posted. I'm right now listening to one of his tapes and perhaps it's unfair to comment because I haven't seen all of the video. However, I do not have time to watch all of it right now.
One thing I must tell you. I do not remember a doctor saying to anyone who have had a bypass to go out and enjoy you're life...as if to eat anything you want, do anything you want, drink anything you want..you get it. I have friends who have had a bypass and have been encouraged to eat properly and to exercise. In fact these two people have gone to a heart exercise program for years and doing pretty well. One was in his forties when he had his bypass and one was in her 70s. Her doctor says she thinks this is one thing that has saved her life. She's now in her 80s.
No, they're not taking herbs or doing colon cleansing. We know that most doctors have no idea about these things. BUT it's very unfair to say that doctors encourage their patients to do whatever they want to do that is unhealthy.
I'm willing to listen to more of his suggestions. But, I was quite upset to hear him say doctors are encouraging patients to do bad things. I hope he was exaggerating.
-
Hmmm...I just noticed he bald.
-
Actually, his ingredients for a cold are also good ingredients to fight cancer. Garlic, onion, ginger root, and I forget what apple cider vinegar does, I think it's for cholesterol. The other two won't let anything bad stay in our stomachs and live.
It takes some to get use to. Powerful stuff there. I don't think I can see colors anymore, but I'm doin it.
-
Dear Shirley,
Throughout the interviews Dr. Schulze will say things you don't agree with or even make comments that are offensive but the bottom line is the integrity of his program. You don't have to like the guy but he knows his stuff!! My former oncologist said nutrition does not play a role in fighting breast cancer and that is part of the reason he is my former oncologist.....Good for you for being willing to listen.
-
Dear Kathy,
From the beginning of my diagnosis my husband and I felt that our faith took us away from the traditional and led us to the natural healing. God's natural healing has been around since the beginning of time compared to a little over a hundred years for what is now called traditional medicine. For us it is easy to embrace the beautiful natural things He has given to heal our bodies.
Have you heard of the "Maker's Diet" by Jordan Rubin? It might interest you. It explains much about Biblical natural healing.
God bless you as well, Kathy.
-
Dear Rosemary44,
Good for you for downing the tonic. The last thing we do before we go to bed every night is down 8 ounces of juiced carrots and habenero peppers followed by about 10 cloves of garlic chopped up. We eat the garlic with a spoon and wash it down with distilled water. At first we made the mistake of trying to chew the garlic and we burned the inside of our mouths!! Live and learn!!
Please don't stop at the cold tonic video - try to go to the "Save Your Life" interviews which will fill you in on everything!
-
Dear Genesis, You sound like such a wonderful person with such a sweet spirit. I, too have such a strong faith and that is what got me through my breast cancer. I definitely believe the Lord has a plan for all of us. I also definitely believe that good nutrition has everything to do with healing our bodies of disease. I am eating garlic, too every morning and downing it with yogurt or water. I also drink a concotion of apple cider vinegar, apple juice and grape juice. I had my blood work done yesterday, and I my cholestrol levels have come down. I am so excited because I do not want to go on any statins. So, I certainly agree with you that nutrition plays a positive role in healing our bodies naturally. However, you might think I am crazy, but the conventional treatment that I went through with my breast cancer:8 rounds of chemo,( which included taxotere), 36 days of radiation and a double masectomy, saved my life. I am currently on aromisin. I actually feel fantastic and feel better than I did before breast cancer. I also had bilateral breast cancer. I have been out for 3 years. However, I will never give up eating well. Thank you for all your posts. I know you only have our best interests at heart. You are my sister in Christ. Kathy
-
Dear kathy,
THANK YOU!! Your comment meant so much to me......one can feel a bit beat up by this board and that in itself is frustrating when all one hopes to do is help. I ache for all you had to go through but am so very grateful to God that you are doing well. You will be in our prayers that it will certainly continue that way. That is part of what we were trying to express is that even if one has gone with the traditional there are wonderful ways to take care of your body so that there will not be a re-occurrence of cancer and isn't that what everyone is hoping for. Believe me, we have continually been doing our homework and Schulze may be considered radical but still nothing compared to what so many of you have experienced.
Only because of pressure from family did I agree to go on Aromisin and after less than 2 months I took myself off of it. (part of June and July) I had found a natural alternative, Brevail, that accomplished the same results, estrogen inhibitor, without ANY side effects. Brevail is very concentrated lignans taken from flax seed and that in itself has soo many wonderful benefits for ones body. Also, in one of my comments I had spoken of Dr. Johanna Budwig and her extensive research with flax seed and cottage cheese. Check it out - it is very interesting.....I recently added this to my regimen as well.
I'll stop for now but will try to add more and more as time goes on. We pray you will find the time to check out Schulze's videos - they are a far better teacher than I could possibly be.
Are you rebounding(mini trampoline)?? Please look up those benefits. Amazing!!!
Thank you for your kindness and I thank the Lord for another sister in Christ named Kathy.

Genesis,
I had to stop the tonic after one day, the ingredients are mostly blood thinners, and I really didn't give it a real chance to work. I could only do 5 tsps during the day. I'm going to take it again today, but make a new batch without so many peppers. I couldn't find fresh ceyenne peppers, I thought sorrano would have to do.
I can imagine it could take awhile to get used to so much hot stuff all in one tsp. It would make a good salad dressing if it weren't so hot.

Genesis
I understand it all it just that I have fallen for all of the TV info commercials...Natural Healing Remedies, Miracle Food this and Miracle that, special juices...I do believe eating EXTRA healthy...exercising...eliminating the bad things and we all know what we should be getting rid of in our life, whether it's smoking, alcohol, certain foods etc or negative people!...Believe me I think its great that you are doing well...I take wheat grass, Vit. D, Goji juice, Noni juice, complete EFA, Mega Digestive enzymes and the list goes on...I went with the traditonal route for my breast cancer and now I look into alternative measures to use for the rest of my life...Just be careful and beware as we all have to with this disease...Good luck!
-
Dear ERS2006,
We sooo understand what you are saying about there being so many things out there claiming this and that miracle, etc.. That is why we really try to educate ourselves as best as possible with the things we have chosen to do. As stated in our previous comments we have pretty much stayed with Schulze's program adding just a few things we found out about on our own. Those are AHCC, Brevail, the flaxseed-cottage cheese.......All things we talked about in past comments. You might want to take time to check these things out. We are forever amazed with all the choices and appreciate your warning to be careful. We soo wish you the very best on your continued journey to complete healing.

Genesis
I tried watching one of the videos...they are too old and outdated and I found them to be terribly boring...too bad he hasn't updated them to be a tad more interesting and more to the point...I couldn't watch even 20 minutes of it...Oh well.
-
Wow ERS2006 - if something is going to save your life who cares how boring or old it is. The information is still pertinent for today. Personally, I find Dr. Schulze anything but boring!! The tapes are educational - not for entertainment. I haven't found anything about breast cancer to be entertaining! You might try some of his crusade videos.
-
Brevail contains phytoestrogens which are contraindicated in someone with estrogen receptor positive breast cancer. It will be interesting to see in the long run how it works for you. Where were your mets? Bone, lungs, liver? Are they being monitored?
-
I've read Johanna Budwig's theory of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese.
I had a cat named Gizmo which suited him to a tee.
What a funny little cat he was. We found out he had cancer. A lady at the vet's office told me about flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. She told me exacltly what kind to buy. I read Dr. Budwig's instructions. I bought the flaxseed oil at the health food store. I forced my precious cat to eat the stuff. I wanted sooooooo to CURE him. The last time I forced anything down him was when he cried. I cried and told him NO MORE. I then took him to my vet to have him put to sleep. I had not even noticed, but his tummy had turned yellow (his hair was shaved for his ultrasound), and his eyes also. I'm crying again. I just HAD to try. It didn't work.

Hi Ann,
Brevail is proven to work well even in conjunction with Tamoxifen and Aromasin as well as on its own so I am not quite sure where you are getting your information from. As of a May Pet scan my mets were in my pelvis, right femor, left upper arm, neck, lower spine.......I am only being monitored by blood tests including tumor markers CA 27-29 and CA 15-3. All blood tests following the Pet scan have been in the normal range. I am presently waiting for results from a AMAS blood test.

-
Dear Shirley,
I am sooo sorry about your cat, Gizmo. We are animal lovers so we can totally understand your broken heart. I pretty much stick with Dr. Richard Schulze's program but have added the flaxseed and cottage cheese to my regimen. My husband and I both find Dr. Budwig's research very interesting. Her cottage cheese/flaxseed combo has helped many people. Sorry it did not work for Gizmo.

Sloan Kettering's about herbs site mentions caution (just caution) for women with ER+ breast cancer in regard to flaxseed. The only studies I can find with flaxseed and tamoxifen are studies with mice.
My main concern for women with breast cancer is that they realize that natural does not necessarily mean safe or healthy. And spending $$$ on supplements in hopes of preventing recurrence--when the studies cited are on the websites of the company that makes the product, read judiciously.
-
Dear Ann,
You might want to look at "Dr.Horner's Hormonal Health Tip of the Month" (April - 2007). I think you will find it interesting.
"...natural does not necessarily mean safe or healthy" would apply just as much if not more to the pharmaceutical industry which always has side effects! That is why we must educate ourselves!!

Genesis...
I will try his crusade videos...
Hate to say it but when I go into the Health food stores, most of the people who work and shop there look pale and sickly that my husband & I can't wait to get out of there...Just an observation...
