Dear Yazmin, I meant to say that if she would have remained with traditional treatment, she would not be in the situation that she is in now. She was also taking tamoxifen and it was helping but she chose to quit everything. Is that O.K. with you? Kathy
-
Dear Kathy:
Thank you for taking the time to clarify, and I apologize for misunderstanding the first time around.
Indeed, this is NOT OK with me at all. I am really sorry that this lady got so overwhelmed with the whole thing, and so confused that she got into the situation that she is in right now: I know it's a terrible situation, but I really, hope that she will try and pick up where she gave up. Of course, it's going to be a tough road to travel.

Ok gals lets try to look at it from a different perspective:
Lets say we are all unique and have different dna's and different things make us 'tick' , I guess all of us can agree on that we are not androids.
So even though we might be given a frest start as an embryo, and even if our moms had lived on a deserted island free of all environmental risk factors, we still might be susceptible to certain 'triggers' , some of us get allergies/skin conditions, some of us get sick really easy whereas some can just live in the day cares and not get a sniffle, some of us might be constipated all the time, whereas the others are as regular as an atomic clock... I am hoping that we are all still together and agree on these right ?
So..
I do believe that the bc susceptibility is most probably coded in our dna, however having said this...
Without several environmental/lifestyle factors completing the picture for a 'perfect storm' I do not think that bc could have reared its ugly head.
So I believe/think what all these naturalists are doing is to help the body to overcome the disease and stop the fuel that is feeding it using certain tools(nutrition, massage, ... ) to put out the fire / calm the storm utilizing the bodies immense healing powers which I am sure no one will argue against.
Now I really do not think this is an unreasonable approach.
Also don't forget the placebo power, even if these naturalistic treatments do not do 'zilch' actually, if you believe in them they will work
If you believe that alternative medicine is your answer, it is.
If you believe that alternative medicine is not your answer than it is not.
Dont lose perspective and shoot the messengers here, they are just delivering information that is already out there, they might not be wording it the way you like it but thats another issue. Genesis believes that alternative is the way to go... that is her opinion and is her path.
Listen to the essence of the message, if it makes sense look into it,if not all you have lost is 5 minutes.

Well said Aylin. Wishing you the best.

......Also don't forget the placebo power, even if these naturalistic treatments do not do 'zilch' actually, if you believe in them they will work.....
This is true for "conventional" medicine as well.

Dear trigeek,
We are so sorry about you not being able to access anymore the Save Your Life videos.....We just tried ourselves and were unsuccessful. You can, however, still get many of the crusade natural healing videos which are very good as well........Just go to Google video and type in Dr. Richard Schulze. The crusade videos will come up....Let us know that you were able to access. We hope you can!!
God bless,
Genesis
-
Hey Genesis,
Yes I saw them, did not have the time to view them all.
Reading the web site seemed more informative.
Thanks !
Aylin

Hi Aylin,
You might try to find some time to view the teaching videos as well....they are very informative! Wishing you the best - our prayers are with you.

Hello all you beautiful ladies and anyone else!
I just had to spread the news. My mother's palpable axillary tumor has shrunk from 3.5 cm to 2.0 cm. This is the first tumor that surfaced last year after her initial diagnosis in May of 2004. Her CA 15-3 is 7.4 which is 1 point higher than last June, and her CA 125 is down to 18.6 from 19.8 in June. She feels very well, and I believe that she finally believes she can be healed. Praise GOD!!!!!! She continues with the protocol I developed in December. Will keep you all posted.
Hugs
-
Dear Lisa,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, LORD!!!!!! What wonderful news!!!! Your Mom is soooo blessed to have you as her daughter!! Keep up the protocol and let her know she has MANY prayers going for her and that, YES, she can be healed!!.
God bless,

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to say how important lymphatic massage is for everyone dealing with bc. We are sooo blessed to have found a wonderful lymphatic massage therapist not too far away from us. It is heavenly!!

Interesting - and very brief - video about a "new" discovery that stimulating our body's own ability to heal itself may be a more effective treatment against cancer than chemo and radiation.
http://video.on.nytimes.com/?fr_story=bca7cf83a63a6db9071d0bfaf1f037fbcf0611d4
To me, this concept is at the heart of whether natural healing is a valid and more effective means of treating cancer. The mere fact that these scientists believe such an approach could replace chemo and radiation seems to be a remarkable (albeit perhaps unintentional) validation of the merits of natural healing.
These scientists could almost be poster children for the promotion of natural healing!
The only difference in their approach seems to be that they are looking at a "drug" to stimulate this natural ability in the body. However, I think what we are seeing in the successes achieved with alternative treatments is that this can be accomplished without reliance on articificial drugs.
The more I look into this, the more I see that if we can trigger the body's own natural ability to heal itself, we can fight cancer without such a heavy reliance on conventional cancer treatments. I am glad to see that the scientific community is starting to agree.

Well, genesis, your persistance has paid off. I've been putting myself through a learning curve on thyroid issues and getting VERY frustrated in the process. My thyroid is out of balance. I'm not getting help from my internist. A chiropractor recommended iodine supplements. Then I got confused and concerned because the USDA says 150 micrograms is recommended dailiy, but it gets toxic at 1100 mcg's. Each of these iodine tabs is 3mg, almost 3 times what the USDA says is toxic.
Then I found information from the holistic crowd that says up to 50mg is ok. So I was feeling better about trying the supplements but still feeling very confused about who has the information I can believe. Much of my thyroid saga is in the iodine thread. I was growing weary of wading through the mountains of reading material, and I remembered you talking about videos. So I thought, heck, this is a good time to check out what genesis has been talking about. I'm not sure I found the same videos you mention. I found a series of 7 videos that were in a classroom setting where dr s was teaching about natural healing. And while I'm still scratching my head over whether he's the person I choose to believe, I must admit his information resonated with me. And as anyone who's ever had a thyroid out of whack can understand, I am so tired of being tired! My ass has been dragging ever since I finished radiation, and that was 2+ years ago. I'm not able to work full time. And even though I have overdue insurance, phone, and water bills as I type, I took the plunge and ordered the superfood, echinacea, and intestine formula #1. I'm feeling unsteady about my ability to give up sugar and dairy, but good grief, I have got to shake myself out of this funk. Crossing my fingers this will do it for me. Will come back and post my results. I didn't survive cancer and those treatments to feel like crap every day!
-
Althea,
I don't know anything about Dr. Schulze, but I just wanted to encourage you. How many iodine tablets did the chiropractor say to take? Although you don't say, you seem to indicate that it was above the acceptable USDA levels.
I stopped eating sugar and meat products in early February. I thought this would KILL me as I love them both deeply (meat, cheese, milk, etc.). Honestly, it was not as hard as I thought.
Have you heard of Stevia? It is supposed to be a natural sweetner that is more potent than white processed sugar and is healthier for you. I haven't used it yet, but will probably do so shortly. Also, if you find it too hard to part with dairy, can you try organic dairy instead? I am not saying Dr. Schulze would find that acceptable, but maybe it is a valid middle ground for you to at least get started if a complete cessation would be difficult.
I spoke with a woman who works at the American Cancer Society recently. She indicated that she had a thyroid problem 2 years ago that was healed by her following the directions od a naturopathic Doctor. I'll inquire about what she did and post here if the info she provides has not already been shared.
Mia
I believe it is possible

Lisa, Congrats to you and your mom!!! That is great news! Continued good health to her!

Genesis, I have a question that NO ONE in the medical community seemed to know the answer to when I was re-diagnosed two years ago. IF there are positive nodes, is lymphatic massage OK? AND if it is, what happens to the cancer cells that are in the nodes?? I know that ideally our immune systems are being kicked into high gear and ridding our bodies of the 'intruders' but I'm wondering about the massage (and other lymph techniques) when you aren't sure what is luking in there. TIA and Best wishes!
-
Althea,
I sent you an IM with the contact info for the lady who was cured of her thyroid problem. She says that you should feel free to contact her if you would like more info on what she did.
Thanks,
Mia

Dear Althea,
Before you try anything else since you have already ordered it go with the Schulze products at this time.......Althea, you are starting on the right track. There is so much out there that one can do and Schulze has kinda put many things in a nut shell and at least one is not spinning their wheels thinking "should I do this or should I do that??!!" He is very knowledgeable and right on if you check out any of the things he teaches. Once you get your body detoxed and cleansed and built up with the beautiful natural things God has given us your body comes in balance and it starts healing itself.....might I add - of anything!! This is not rocket science but basic biology. It is exciting and I don't think God ever intended for us to become so confused. We think you will be pleased with the results if you follow what he says. Our prayers are sooo with you.
God bless,
Genesis
-
Thank you genesis. I hope the products arrive quickly. In the meantime, I'm really wondering about what the food on my plate will be looking like during this program. Can you shed some light on what his food recommendations will be? I already have a juicer and drink carrot juice regularly.
-
Ruby can you please tell me if you get an answer to that .. as that is also my dilemma.
Aylin
-
Dear Rubytuesday,
Thought you might find this interesting to read....It should answer your question. Cancer showed in some of my lymph nodes a year ago when I was diagnosed but I am confident that lymph massage is only beneficial and extremely helpful in cancer situations. The doctor referred to below is Dr. Jennifer A. Johnson.
Dave: Could doing lymph massage therapy cause cancer to travel throughout a client's body?
Dr. Johnson: No. Definitely not. Medical information describing the lymph system is hard to find. In most medical books, you might find a paragraph covering the lymphatic system. Many years ago, doctors were afraid that if you moved the lymph or if you flushed out the lymphatic system of a cancer patient that the cancer would go through the channels of the lymphatic system to spread all over the cancer patient's body.
There has not been even one case where that has happened and so now the medical community has changed their position. The American Medical Association has said that stimulating the lymphatic system itself helps prevent cancer. The AMA doesn't discourage it any more so lymphatic massage therapy is now considered by many doctors a very important part of cancer recovery.
I remember years ago that doctors would advise against getting a massage because you might stimulate the lymphatic system if you had cancer. However, now doctors have come to the realization that a stagnant lymphatic system is often the cause cancer.God bless you,
Genesis

Dear Althea,
Well as you know from viewing Dr. Schulze's videos - he is a vegan. We have not completely adopted a vegan diet. Anything we have, however, is organic. The Superfoodplus is GREAT!! Your body will love it!! The Intestinal 1 formula is essential in starting to get you cleaned out. When we do our carrot juice we also add habenaro peppers. Spicy is good for you!! As much juicing as possible is good for you. Be inventive......we haven't made anything that we couldn't get down yet!! Do as much raw as you can. We have an employee that was just about crippled with migraines at least twice a week. He completed a bowel detox by Schulze and to this day continues with the Intestinal 1's and has changed nothing else with his bad eating habits and maybe gets one mild migraine a month. Pretty remarkable for someone who suffered greatly for 10 years - just about exhausting the medical community looking for answers.
Schulze always says do the best you can..............We will keep the prayers going.
God bless,
Genesis
-
Thanks genesis. It's encouraging to me that someone benefitted from the intestinal formula without even changing diet. Ever since treatments, I've been tweaking my diet in small ways, always striving for improvements. I guess I was worried I would have to become a vegan overnight to benefit, and I think that would be stressful for me. Pray for speedy delivery when you say your prayers for me!
Last October I committed to a garden tour at my place, and now I'm regretting it. My lawnmower's broken, haven't mowed since November, and I'm too tired to even set out the sprinkler.
ps to imthankful, my browser crashed when I replied to your pm, so I don't know if it went through or not. The next thing I try will be the products from dr schulze, and I really hope that I won't be in need of any more looking after that. In response to the iodine question, the recommended dose for me was 18mg per day. I've been at it for 10 days now and I don't feel any better at all. At least I don't feel worse. And the supplements are plant based, not some indigestable substance that some supplements purportedly contain.
-
Genesis, Thanks for your reply. I sure wish they knew more about the lymphatic system than they do. I'm going to talk to someone at the wellness center that I go to about manual lymph drainage. My naturopath had mentioned it awhile back. I think I'll bounce it off of my acupunturist too just for good measure. He is sooooooooooooooo knowledgeable. Best wishes!
-
My wife chose to do her own research, and came up with her own answer, which surprised even her. (She was a paramedic for 15 years) She chose naturopathic, and spent a lot of time researching before she made her final decision. Seems to be working thus far, 1 year clear since surgery.... and ladies, even if you choose to do chemo, give some serious thought to changing your lifestyle and diet. Reduce the risk of it returning where you can. And regardless of your choice, or reasons... Good luck to all

Lymph system - I also was told not lymph massage with "active" cancer. In my research I found that is not true. You lymph system is also part of your bodies garbage moving system. If chemo or natural protocol is working you need to move dead or weak cell out of your system as "quickly" as possible! Just like you want to detox other parts of your body you also want to do the lymph system. Massage, exercise (rebounder also the girls in the lymph-edema area - use a CD of exercises just for lymph areas. Ledbedmethod.com) and fluids all help. My old natural doctor recommended "Lymphomyosoyt" and pill you dissolve under your tongue. I know it works for me because I can tell it moves my lymph-edema and it drips under my arm. Yuk! and slow drip that I can feel like sweat but it is inside my body.
Living in hope,
Flalady
-
Looked up lymphomyosoyt and it is for treating many things:
It is concerning that it does include thyroid medication as well as the herbs, plants. That could throw off your blood work re: hypo, hyper thyroidism.
-
Dear FlaLady,
I really appreciated the info on Lymphomyosot. It sounds very credible by the information that I have been reading. Also, I am thankful that many understand the importance of moving our lymph! I also agree abount the rebounding....it has been an amazing blessing in my life regarding working out. Bless you, Flalady. Keep living in hope. Sounds like you are sooo on the right track.
God bless,
Genesis

Ok I have a yoga ball at home, and sometimes use it as a chair when i am on the pc ( heard that it was good for your back to do so). The other day I started kind of bouncing on it while listening to music and had a great time.
Soo.. instead of setting aside time to do rebounding on a mini tramboline I wonder if bouncing while sitting on a yoga ball while watching tv/surfing the net will also help the lymphs. I would think so ..
Your thoughts ?
-
Hi trigeek,
I would think that bouncing is bouncing!!! You are moving the lymph........I know you could probably accomplish more things while on your yoga ball but I also think that getting the whole body bouncing is important as well......bottom line is any movement is better than NO movement!!!!
Happy bouncing!!!
God bless,
Genesis
