    serenity,

Your perseverance is admirable and appreciated. My trust in the powers that be at bco has completely evaporated. Ignoring legit questions and obfuscation of reality seems to be the new reality here.

Anyone who claims to be separating fact from fiction in the middle of their own BS is not to be trusted.

Did anyone who received the image access email receive another email about the data breach? I received only the first.

This doesn't include emails from this thread.

    Hello,

We recently became aware of a potential issue related to images uploaded by community members to the Breastcancer.org website. While we continue to look into the potential issue, we temporarily disabled member uploaded images.

    This includes:

    • Avatar images in member profiles and community discussion forums
    • Image uploads to public posts and in private messages in the community discussion forums
    • Viewing access to previously uploaded images and files

We thank you for your patience and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

    Mods,

On your to-do list, please add a way for users to request their images be deleted or EXIF data removed. Maybe deletion in PMs only as an option.

I have never sent images by PM. I posted a picture of my face once and then deleted it soon after. I deleted a picture of my post chemo hair growth. The rest of my pictures aren't geotagged because I keep Location services off. I've posted my blood tests. Don't see how those could be used against me. For me, there aren't any images that concern me. But other people may have shared images by PM expecting them to remain private. That's a problem.

So, Mods, the answer is you sent 0 emails to your members on the data breach.

If you feel this is fiction, please correct me.

I've had two emailed announcements from the Mods (zoom offer and image problem), and one personal one asking for more information on a complaint I made on this thread. We should ALL have received emails about the data breach as soon as they were aware of it months ago. The fact that their posted announcement continues to lie about it being a data breach tells us all we need to know about BCO's leadership. Oh, and Mods: Blink a Morse code message if you're hostages; otherwise, we have no reason to believe anything you post.

Trump: "If you say it long enough, hard enough, often enough, people will start to believe it."

BCO continues to use the Maga form of marketing. That they don't hear that people are tired of being insulted by this is what creates this outrage.

I'm going to post the data breach article on a separate thread. Let's see how quickly it disappears.

Shit. I can't find how to start a new topic. I know I started one before they broke the site, but now I can't find where to do it. Someone show me, please?

Alice - Click on a Forum. You should see an option to Start a New Topic.

I'm still not seeing that option. Maybe it's one of those things that doesn't show up on my screen since the FUBAR.

Oh, has anyone else noticed that the BCO message doesn't have a date? Is that so they can lie about when they told us?
