    Hi everyone -

Someone asked how to keep your balls of yarn from getting tangled with each other when you are working with two or more. If you put each in their own plastic bag then they will not tangle with one another.

I have about 25 squares done and I will send them along to Madison and Vickie as soon as I make it to the post office.

I just sent a package of squares to Madison, and will have some for Vickie by the end of the week. Was able to do some knitting at the park yesterday. It was nice.

Vickie & Madison, I have such admiration for you girls. I know we must send all kinds of rectangles. I bet some are too big, too small, too tapered, real thick, real thin, loose hooked, tight hooked, neat and messy. Yet you manage to put them altogether in such beautiful afghans. Thank you so much.

Susan, I am so thrilled that you got your afghan. I hope it always reminds you of how loved you are here!

Vickie and Madison, I apologize that I haven't had much time lately to work on squares, but I promise to get some to you by next week. I've been busy fighting with my son's school district, our insurance company, etc., so I'll be using the crocheting to calm me down at night!

    Love to everyone,

Susan, enjoy! I love that someone has a pattern with a heart in it. It must be so precious!

Vickie, they told me at the post office you would get it Monday! Do you live in the boonies? Glad Nathaniel enjoyed his surprise, you guys deserve a little sumpin' every once in a while too! OK, as soon as I finish this baby afghan, I will get back to the squares. If I have leftover of this yarn, I will make one out of it! It is so pretty. I will post a pic on the craft thread once I finally finish it.

I live in the boonies! I had a lady come out and buy a parrot (it was Sarah's and she moved to Florida in the winter and was afraid to take him all the way there and then decided to sell him)anyhow...she got lost and it was deer season. She finally found my house and it was hilarious, she was scared to death. She said all she saw where men in pickups that had men with guns in the back. She said she felt like she was in the movie "Deliverance" and would never venture out here again! City girl all the way! I laughed so hard after she left as everyone I know here would have done anything to help her. In the boonies is great...everybody knows everybody and everyone helps everyone but the mail can be a little slow sometimes!
    Hugs all

I love living in the boonies! Trouble is, if they don't quit building everywhere they see an unused 2" square..it will be the City before you know it!

Boy, you have me brainwashed. I just realized I used the term "square" when referring to a small "Parcel" of land!

    Hugs,
    Denise

P.s. Madison, pm coming your way!

Denise, ya better git ya head out outta that yarn bag, I think it's beginning to affect you in some strange ways. Just cause you had to show me you could be faster than I was on that last little project doesn't mean you can't take a break. Besides being a faster knitter than me is really not a big deal. Ahem, I wouldn't want to be in the same category as me. Sooo, you might want to get you some fresh air.

    Vickie,
You bring the "whine" and I'll furnish the cheese!! I'm like you, just want to get home (haven't even left yet!) and get back to the afghans!!
Now, I'm off to get some "fresh Air" and get one of my clients situated with Hospice. I think that is the real reason that I am procrastinating leaving today.

Good news! I just finished my first knifty knitter rectangle. It turned out great. Cheri coached me over the phone. (thanks pal). I used two strands, so much better than trying to do it with one. so now I have 3 rectangles. LOL

I have been doing some experimenting with double crochet. I am definitely not counting the chains correctly. I'm dropping one or two on every row. I can single crochet but not double crochet. bawaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaa

Someone will have to show me how at pinkstock!!

Girls, Susan is on her way to my house and should be pulling in any minute. With her Knitter, yarn, and I heard she was a real good hooker. (that must be her area of expertise) Shhh, don't tell her. But she called and hauled my butt outta bed so we could knit this afternoon. Gotta go, she's here. TeeHee I'm in my jammies.
