So hot in my neck of the woods (Oklahoma) that my cats are starting to melt.
-
Arthur! That expressive face and piercing eyes....... he looks about to say something either deliciously sweet or delightfully sar-Cat-stic 😺
Melting kitties, oh no! Ice packs stat!
-
This is my girl Kahlia. She loves everyone and is a poly! Such a mothering kitty to all my fosters too!
-
Lollipop (grey tabby) and Licorice (orange tabby) were so shy we decided to adopt them ourselves. They have come such a long way, and they still sit together like this! I hope this makes someone smile! As your posts do for me!

My Andy loooved the cold.......
-
Feline, Awesome cat portrait!
Seachain, Isn't it amazing how much territory a cat can cover when it's trying to cool off? Mine hops in the (dry) bathtub or lays on the tile floor.
-
BoobsBgone - Glad to see you back☺ Such pretty fur babies! All kitties should have proper mittens; love those thumbs 💓
We need a nickname for you...... B3? BBG? We can't call you "Boobs" or "Goner"..... 😜
-
shepkitty - I like BBG.
I have so many beautiful fur-babies of my own, including my 2 gorgeous dogs. they are truly my life. I need new pics of some of my babies, but they always come out blurry!! LOL
I love seeing the pics and hearing about all the other kitties. A highlight through all the crap we go through. Happy Sunday everyone, may you feel fabulous today!
-
BBG it is then! You must have known I would have immediately changed "B3" to "Bingo"
I have one big dog and one little cat. All three of us are besties

Spent some quality time with the grand-cats this weekend.

Ruth ~ Gorgeous fuzzies! Are they littermates?
-
Loving all the photos ladies. Poor melting cat in OK and what a clever cooling off kitty in SC!
-
-
What gorgeous fuzzies!
Yes, I confess, I have a weakness for fuzzies vs short haired. Nevertheless i try not to show favors with my two as the short haired one has his own super-cuteness.

DS's former girlfriend's family lives on a farm. After a visit, they came back with two little 'barn kittens'....the girlfriend is long gone, the cats remain (shhh.....don't tell DS, but that was the best possible outcome, IMO).

Wow 63 pages of cats, cats, cats and I missed it? Thanks felingfeline for telling "us" about this thread. I have a busy day to day, but will be posting pictures later, and after I can catch up with all of the cats here, but a little about my cat story. I had one cat growing up and she was all mine (as much as a cat can be owned). A wonderful Siamese looking cat (not sure if she was purebred, but a snobby woman at the tennis club rejected her because she scratched furniture, so maybe) my mother rescued as our family pet. Tammy. Fast forward 35 years without cats and a busy work life, I finally decided I could get cats again - so rescued two tuxedos 8 years ago. One died 2 1/2 years ago at age 7, of FIP. Maybe FIP will come up in a different conversation - but a devastating cat disease. I know more about FIP than I ever want to again. That left me with one very sad, but the more submissive of the two, and dare I say, bullied those many years, female (excuse this sentence structure - hopefully the point made), named Emma.
I think there is a natural inclination to replace like with like and I was literally looking for a Ms Boo look alike for my Emma. I found one, actually, but deep in my heart I know two cats would never truly be the same and I would always be comparing, so I was thankful that girl had already been adopted. Somehow I ended up looking at Turkish Vans and I had never considered a purebred, but it struck me how personalities could be so well defined by cat breed. Emma had developed asthma shortly after loosing Ms Boo, and having been bullied (Feliway plug ins were a must), both of us were ready for a very sweet cat. Having decided that could only be somewhat guaranteed by picking a purebred cat, I ended up noticing the Devon Rex. OMG - there was nothing about this breed that did not work with me, and as it turns out, with Emma too. More later.......
-
yes Quinn, we need pics. Never heard of that breed. Will have to google. There's a dog there too if you want to tell them on blues thread
-
Here's a little video I just published....my best pictures are not on this computer, but I found this.
And Quinn playing fetch. He has forgotten how to now, but my blue one, Joey brings me balls and things to play fetch with.
I'm not too sure about this youtube posting stuff. Once you finish the video, you might just end up on Mt Everest.

Welcome QuinnCat

Sting is one of my handsome boys. he is a snuggler.
-

-
