Hoo boy. I'm going to answer this at the risk of seeming cold and heartless. Usually I don't do anything. Unfortunately, There's a large homeless population in Los Angeles, so you wouldn't see a homeless person on the side of the road, but many walking down any commercial street. Sometimes I give a little money to someone as long as that person isn't intoxicated, but if I gave $1 to every homeless person I saw on a daily basis, I would go broke.
If I could see any musical artist (dead or alive) in concer, I would choose..

I agree hsant! We never know if they are addicts so we never give money, but have packs of PB crackers in the car to give them (usually 2). Most of them are SO grateful (like 9 out of 10), but the last guy didn't seem grateful at all and I could almost hear his thoughts (This won't get me any alcohol) or whatever.
I am feeling better, thanks! Overall pain is better, except under right arm where lymph removal was is constantly painful. I have my follow-up appointment tomorrow morning.

Golf....not by choice but because my DD plays it competitively in hs and soon college and my DH is crazy about it. So our tv is always on the golf channel. Can't help but learn more than I really need or want to about the sport.
@Georgia, glad you are feeling better. I am 5 months out from bmx and the areas where my drains were and my removed nodes are still tender. Just saw MO today and she says that that is pretty common.

Last year, I went to North Carolina with a friend for a bluegrass music festival. We borrowed a tent but they forgot to include the rain fly. Great. And of course it rained. We drove into town looking to buy a tarp but no such luck so I bought a new tent. Nice 4-person Eureka tent for under $100 (cheap!). We stayed warm & dry all weekend, and now DH & I have good gear in case we ever have to "bug out".

My f/u appt went great!! She took 2 drains out! So I only have 2 more. She ordered Gabapentin for the pain. And my BS called and said the tissue they tested showed no tumor, that I am Cancer-free now! Stage 0!!! God is so good!
