Sweet kitties! I love cats. Unfortunately, the hubs is allergic.

My grandfather. He was amazing with kids, and would tease all of us grandkids. He would do things like pretend he was sleeping, put on an exaggerated snore and talk in his "sleep".

This weekend I look forward to..

A ring given to me by my aunt. After her mom (my grandmother) died, my grandfather gave it to her. Eventually her husband had my aunt's birthday (amethyst) set in the band. When she was very old, she gave it to me (instead of one of her 3 daughter-in-laws!). So it was a very special gift. Now it is even more special because this aunt had BC in her mid-50s, went through treatment and lived to the age of 88 without ever having a recurrence......I wear this ring to doctor appointments as a good luck charm!
