Rosie posie, not on new treatment yet. Prob with new test, can't get neck and noses checked out as often. New testing can be dangerous if overused on neck area. Neck are shows first. Kinda like to see it there before vital organ. I'm kinda like that, you know.

Test a couple weeks ago show stable in all the areas, but these last couple weeks i feel pain in neck nodes again. Haven't told anyone yet. They all worry too much. Now with a baby coming, I might hold back information.

Oh my!! The playground monitor worked overtime today. There is lack of comparative studies and data with Bumex which is also a loop diuretic. I think that makes it tricky to draw conclusions for using Bumex over Lasix. Docs like evidence based recommendations. Bumex might not be on a lot of hospitals' or insurances'formulary. Just my guess.

Rose, that is very puzzling with the fluctuation in the liver enzymes. Have you heard of RILD? Just hope it was a fluke and that you will continue to feel better.

Ms. CHEVY, have a blast with Ms. Theresa. You have to share with us your visit. The online album is pretty neat. There are so many options you can choose to personalize it.Have not done it myself, but have seen it from a friend and niece.

I see Bumex used frequently at my hospital. Not as much as Lasix, but often. Lasix is still the first line diuretic. It's been around longer and I'm sure it's cheaper than Bumex.

And I remember when the doctors prescriber quinine for leg cramps. 325mg. And there was a lower strength one with Vitamin E that you could buy over the counter. Q-vel? I think was the name. Can't get that anymore. I had people tell me that it helped, despite what the studies "prove".

Never tried bitter melon. Looks interesting.

Sassy - deserts are bone dry. Heat up fast, cool off fast. Besides I think Jazzy being in Albuquerque is high elevation. Turns out the "roof" ripped off was the decorative facade. Not that it didn't crumple cars underneath, it was no lightweight stuff. Miracle no one was walking out to car during it - employer there said it was a time many got off work. Passed within 1/4 mile of Ft Worth National Weather Service office. We only ended up with a few heavy spits of rain, lost power once. No hail. I've heard talk on weather board of freeze next weekend. Guess I need to get patio plants corralled. Today is cool, sunny lovely fall day. Goats are all laying out in the sun.

Spookie - Don't know much about prostate cancer. Know anti-androgen therapy is common. Same idea as anti-estrogen. Maybe worth a repeat test before beginning treatment. Just a thought. Prayers with him and with you too. PCP? Does DH have a specialist, urologist maybe?

Aw Rosie, now you've got me missing my downies! Our last house was on an acre of trees, mostly blackjack oaks which are susceptible to carpenter ants when they get ready to die. So the woodpeckers were everywhere. Funny story, when we first bought the house, it had a flat roof with a cedar mansard siding and the woodpeckers loved it! We eventually replaced it with a pitched roof. I loved the place, but my knees couldn't take the stairs – it was a tri level, so always up and down. But I miss the wild acre. Do I have a pic? Let's see.

No pic of the original siding but I found one of after we remodeled. We had it sided with a concrete siding that looked like wood but would never need painting. Loved it.
