Awwww..kitty and the deer!
-
Does anyone use a hairball stuff that you put in their food? vet recommended it.. yet never told me the brand. pretty sure my crew wont fall for it being in their food anyways
-
I buy Hartz hairball remedy plus, which is a gel-like consistency . One cat (luckily the one who needs it most) loves it and licks it right off my fingers. The other one won't touch it, so every once & awhile I will smear some on his lips, and then he has no choice but to lick it off.
-
i figure thats whats going to happen here
-
I use Laxatone from the vet for my cats. It's a thick goo that I smear a lump on their paw and they have to lick it off.
Thanks everybody for sharing the cat stories

Pantrah in Ireland there are several brands of anti hairball biscuit nibbles - the stuff is wrapped up in the outer crunchy bit so they son't notice it, don't know if you have anything similar in the US?
(Whiskas and Dreamies are two brands of this type of biscuit here).
-
Here in Canada, there is a product that I get from the vet called "Hairball Preparation" from Vetoquinol. It has the colour and consistency of molasses but comes in tuna flavour. It is meant to be applied around their mouth area. The cats hate it.
Feeling like autumn here today
Pumpkin was so named because she found us around this time of year. Still loving her, it's been 9 months now since she passed.

Kitten update. These are the torti's babies in a cuddle puddle.
-
My beautiful old boy who I am still grieving for, we lost him three weeks ago. This was taken just days before he collapsed and unfortunately the vet could do nothing. Barney was nearly 18.
One lonely Gus who is still missing his buddy
-
Beautiful Barney. Poor Gus. They do mourn. Sending hugs your way.
-
Gorgeous boys, Alyson. Sorry you & Gus are missing Barney.
Cute kitten pics, Terre

Some days, the only thing that makes me smile during my rad recovery (which is so freaking painful) is seeing these beautiful kitty cats. My babies are slowly adjusting to our new home. The movers come Monday which will completely freak them out again.
keep the kitty pics coming... I need them

Who else keeps lint rollers everywhere? At home, in the car, at work...
-

Henry watching TV.
-
Awww...Henry! Beautiful.
-
Was he watching Cat on a Hot Tin Roof?
Years ago when David Attenborough's Life on Earth was aired for the first time (I was a schook kid) one of our two cats, Tamino, absolutely loved it, used to stare at it mesmerised. He never showed any interest in anything else we watched, for example The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, The Muppets or even the Nine o'clock news....
-
This is Grim (I didn't name him). He was my daughters cat until they moved then I took him. He's outdoors only! He will pee on anything he can get his butt up to. He about 12 now. He also acts like he wants you to pet him, but then he'll bite you.
This is Bella. She now has a new home. She came from a litter of 6 my sister found in the backyard. She still hasn't been able to catch the mom.
-
So many beautiful cats, I just have to check in here everyday hoping there's more photos and little stories! That Henry is a cutie pie Ruth. And Smaarty, interesting... our cat Lily is like Grim, she acts so lovingly to get some attention and petting but then she has to get in a little bite, sassy thing! Lots of personality lol. And awww... Bella, her little bell almost looks like a pearl, such a pretty little one
Here is a photo from a while back, of Lily (the princess) and Nicademus (the gray and white boy). The cats used the patio set more than we did, and still do.

Yum I got some marmite. -
Alyson, I missed your earlier post and just wanted to say so sorry about Barney, your beautiful boy. Hoping that you and Gus will get through this, though it seems ever so slowly to get better. Love the photo of Gus with his tongue out lol!!
