    Pearlady - we "only" have six with tiny tabby. We had six, but one has disappeared (we're really sad). So it's so wonderful to "meet" someone with more than us! And yes, we didn't intend to have six, but each is unique and came to us in its own way. All are rescues. And they keep us laughing.

    It makes me happy that others on this forum walk labyrinths, too. I love them. It'd be so cool to have one built into your own property.

    How fun to foster kittens; I'd want to keep them all, too. Our indoor cat Peach is a beige-y tabby, carries hims of very regally. An outdoor cat adopted us, dh calls her Lucy, a very sweet dark tabby. Several other stray cats roam the neighborhood. One larger black tabby also has a bad eye, it's always shut. I nicknamed him "Shady". Those spots on your little one's belly are adorable, Kiwi.

    Labyrinths! I bet they are a fun way to get some exercise. Unfortunately I do not think there are any close to me. Will of course enjoy seeing any pictures of the various labryinths you ladies come across. I do have manatess in my back yard on occasion:

    Great pics everyone. My interest is piqued! Divine, I'm going to see if there is a labyrinth close to me for some walking meditation. Just the thought feels healing.

    Freygea, manatees in your yard- how cool is that.

    Kiwi I love that little one-eyed tabby! so so cute.

    In one of my "I'm not going to say no to any more opportunities" frame of mind since dx I succumbed to a bit of peer pressure and bought tickets to see Sutton Foster in concert tomorrow night. I usually decline invites for a Sunday night as I try to be in bed by 8:30 or 9:00 on work nights but it is Sutton Foster. The issue is that next week will be one of the busiest of the year with 6th grade promotion, 542 report cards to review, teacher check out, end of year staff and student stress levels etc. etc

    I've felt a bit low energy this past week but I will have FUN and get through next week intact.

    making cards, painting,crochetting,new trying out the old Hans at quilts and making baby clothes...Pinterest inspired. What would I do with out my hands?

    Divine – I grew up about 20 miles from there! Mill Creek, right? I haven't been there in ages. Do they still have the rose garden? We have a labyrinth here in Ann Arbor, MI too. Thanks for the reminder. I've been itching to get out to some of our Michigan parks by myself for some meditative walking/photography. I'm glad you had a good time. Great photo!

    Kiwi- Fostering must be so rewarding for you. Your photo reminds me of my kitties when they were little. We had brothers until we lost one a few years ago to kidney failure. I love how they play…play…play…nap. That little guy is lucky to have you as parents.

    Here's a quick photo from the coloring party last night. We had 15 people, and more want to come to the next one who couldn't make it last night.

    I got a membership in our neighborhood pool so I've been going there. Friday I even did the water aerobics class! It's an hour long and I stayed for the whole time. A few things were too much for me but I just floated along then and had a good time.

    Shutterbug, yes, Mill Creek! I wish I lived closer, I'd visit these gardens all the time. Free admission, too, for such a lovely place. Will try to go back in spring when their tulips bloom. They still have the rose garden:image

    The party looks like it was lots of fun!

    Trusthope - I just started crocheting a bunch of chemo caps. Funny, since I live in the dag tropics and the buggers are warm..lol. The cookies and cream cotton yarn is the the best for those. I purchased a bunch of lime green yarn so I can make a few of the caps in that color. My hubby picked up a medium green yarn and told me to make me one in that color. I smacked him..I have a very little "pea" head so I know he thought it would be funny if I wore one in the "pea" color he showed me. Jus call me"sprout"...

    I'll sprout him alright.

    Love reading about labyrinths and seeing those cute manatees! I haven't been in a labyrinth, or thought about one, in years. I now feel I need to find one to walk myself. Divine, having a labyrinth in one' yard sounds fabulous!

    Went to Dinner this past weekend at Tarpoon Creek. Hubby and I shared a watermelon salad. We of course blew our low carb diet on ice cream and coffee on the way back home.

    The daag pictures are in the wrong order. The first two is the Hippy garden at the ice cream shop. The second two is dinner.

    Frygea looks beautiful. Food looks wonderful. We're allowed to indulge ourselves.

    Leaving for a well needed vacation in St. Maarten tomorrow. Can't wait to dig my toes into the sand and cool off in the beautiful water. Of course I'm going to have a few banana daiquiris.

    What am I doing for fun? Celebrating today's historic and thrilling Supreme Court decision with my partner of 36 years, legal spouse for two. We've worked for marriage equality for decades. Now finally everyone has the right to marry ---all across this great land!

    Whoo hoo! I'm right there with you, Tina.

    I'll be celebrating the Supreme Court decision all weekend too! My partner of 25 years (now wife) and I looked at each other on the June day in 2013 when the decision on the Defense of Marriage Act came down and said, "Well... now we should get married."

    We celebrated 25 years as a couple in April and will celebrate two years as legally married on July 31. Beyond thrilled.

    Tina and intothewoods, wow oh wow. What a landmark decision the two of you are celebrating. It's been pretty cool to see all the reaction to the news on Facebook. My son happened to be the one to tell me the news today as we were going to lunch, we spoke about it for awhile, his generation is so open to change. Later when I asked my husband if he'd heard gay marriage was legalized in the USA, he said, yeah, and just shrugged his shoulders and went back to doing yard work. Lol. But so happy for you!

    Celebratory plans today will be a mani pedi and some stimulating of the economy AKA retail therapy although there is no need for therapy today.Shopping for end-of-year (school) gifts for secretary and clerk. Have a party to attend tonight.

    Went garage sailing, First sale I went to was at an American Legion they had beautiful furniture at good prices but the pieces were so big. I did buy some small nesting tables with heavily Chinese style carved tops and glass to cover the tops So I put them in the shop and hope someone buys them. Later I went into the city to see the preparations for the Gay Pride Parade. looks like it will be even bigger this year I always wonder about the queens who walk for miles in stilettos I can't even wear low heels. I'll watch the bits of the parade n TV this year as I don't feel up to hanging with the crowds.

    Freygea - great pics and you and your DH look lovely. And now I know what to do when I find an old dresser out at the curb!

    Pearlady and jjski - St. Marten and Punta Cana sound wonderful. We've had a slow start to summer here, with 50 degree temps and rain all week. I could use some sun and sand myself! Hope you have a great time!

    Tina and Intothewoods - so very happy for you and for all of the couples whose marriages will now be recognized in every state. I admit I teared up a bit when I heard the ruling and read the majority opinion. I have a family member who works for the clerk of courts in Texas and they issued over 160 licenses on Friday. I have enjoyed seeing and reading some of the wedding stories on Facebook.

    I walked in The Color Run today with some friends. It poured down rain, but we had a great time anyway and I felt amazing. I just realized that my back pain started about a year ago during a dance class. Little did I know then that it was mets to the spine that would soon make everyday activities excruciatingly difficult. I would never have thought I would feel this good ever again. So much to be thankful for

    I am on a bit of a bco hiatus (due to an upsetting pm), but do read here. I can't even say how happy I am about the SCOTUS decision and know how special this is to you. May all people enjoy the love and happiness that we are entitled to. Cheers!

    PS: it is heartening to know that younger generations never viewed same sex marriage as a pan issue. Both of my dd's just shake their heads as if to say that this never was an issue for them, and many of their contemporaries, in the first place. I'd also like to think I raised them right

    Great to see you again Caryn! Have been wondering how you're doing, but too lazy/tired to actually act on it. Sorry you got an icky message, but glad you're still (mostly) around.

    I am not travelling anywhere (except Auckland for work and won't even get to see friends), but I am having fun with my goofy kittens. And the big cats. The kittens do keep us laughing and they are at the wild animal stage. They have two speeds - close to light speed and asleep. :) We also had a bit of a big shopping spree; both my computer and DH's computer have had problems and mine died. So we bought new laptops and I'm looking forward to doing some more memory/processor intensive photo editing.

    The other thing I do for fun is come here and see what all of you are up to! Great to see pictures and good news and people doing fun stuff.
