Hermits- waking up to cold temps here, and also hear there is snow around the state, but not here in my city. Sounds like we are going to get a snowstorm this weekend though. We had a big snow last year right before Thanksgiving.

I woke up thinking "hot oatmeal for breakfast today" and made some delicious irish/steel cut oats with dried cranberries and cinnamon mixed in, topped with blueberries. Hearty warm breakfast feels good to my tummy this morning.

Blondie- so glad to hear you are enjoying your time at the shore. You deserve it and more girlfriend.

Heading in to work again today. As mommy says, hugs to everyone here who needs one right now.

My plan to take today easy got shot to pieces. Almost done with my revised plan for the day and the rest of it is going to be relaxing. Only plan on taking the dog out when he needs to go out. It was cold here this morning and its gonna get colder from what I heard today!

New washer purring and old washer dragged away! Husband and I had a lot of cleaning up in the washer area before new washer arrived from Lowe's. Tomorrow, taking it easy!

Teka, beautiful picture.  You must be feeling wonderful.  Washer room clean and new device purring.

M0mmy, when my plan for the day gets rearranged, the new plan seems harder than the tasks warrant.  I hope your new plans were easy and provided at least one joy.

Hi  Jazzy ... I hope your work site was okay today.  With the holidays coming, hopefully extra stress won't tag along.

Teka- beautiful photo. Having spent time in your neck of the woods, I remember those views on the lakes well. I have a beautiful photo that I bought up there during a trip to visit my aunt and uncle back in the day when they lived there.

Sally- work is hard, but I am working to keep my balance there. Working to find something else to move to in 2015, and some important networking meetings next week. I had a meeting with a possible client a couple weeks ago but no word either way yet. They may still be deciding.

That is wonderful, a new washer.  I hope you will enjoy and

save water and money, I need to get one later after I get the dog

paid for. She is doing good, but a lot thinner. I am so grateful that

    I still have her.

Didn't get any snow (wanted some so badly, even if it was nothing more than an inch or even a dusting)

Gave kitty a treat this morning of a can of tuna. He's been such a good boy for his mommy. Can't stand the smell of the stuff but since its for him, I'll put up with the stink

Onco- great song. I hope your gathering this weekend is a good one. Are you having friends over, getting together with your support group there (seem to think you left that local one), hanging with family? I hope your celebrations go well and hope you are also feeling well too. It is good to celebrate making it through these milestones and to be grateful to still be here, despite the fact being here ain't always easy! You reminded me today is my 2 year anniversary of my breast surgery too.....

Teka- so have you christened the new washer with it's first load of laundry yet? It is great to have new appliances. My washer motor broke this summer so I was without a washer for a bit but got that fixed. I am probably due for a few replacements in the next few years......

Footprints- you and Teka were chatting it up last night! Glad you are enjoying our thread!

Mommy- your kitty must have been very happy with that treat. We have lots of cat people here, I like cats but cannot have one due to allergies (ah choo!) I know Teka and Cami are kitty people for sure.....

I was very tired last night and crashed early. I woke up today realizing I feel over scheduled on this Friday, so I called and left a message for the cleaning company that is supposed to come laster today to get them here next week instead. I have to go see the derm first thing this morning as a follow up to my skin surgery in August as my first must do today.

TGIF for me, hope everyone here has a good day!
