100 Days of Gratitude

Today I am grateful for an evening spent doing absolutely nothing of worth. Didn't even cook supper! Luckily my DH understood my need to be sedentary and said, hey Stouffers is good and takes 3 mins in the microwave. Thanks sweetie.
Maddy, glad you found your flash drives. And funeral arrangements are a tough one - glad it's over with.
Nel, yay to new looking kitchens!
Jazzy, how's the flooring project going?
-
I am taking a break from cleaning the house, will be grateful to have that done. Suzy Homemaker I am not!!!!!
-
Good day at the farmer's market. Making zuchinni soup, steamed green beans, kale and salad with DH's help. We really enjoy our fresh veggies.

8/28- the flooring project is done and grateful to wake up in my beautiful home with the new hardwood floors this morning!
Red- thanks for asking, and pictures coming soon!
-
I woke like to wake up to magically installed wood floors!
Grateful to be planning a reunion with 3 of my oldest friends. We started teaching together 40 years ago. We have long since moved apart, but still get together at least once a year. Hmmm......the anniversary guide I looked at says that the 40th is RUBIES!
-
Ruth, too funny.
Today I am grateful that tomorrow I have a day of vacation.
Nel, looking forward to the pictures.
Onco, yay for walking outside with no boot!

Yesterday grateful for an amazing new Spin instructor, really pushed me out of my comfort zone.
Today grateful for a full work day, after two weeks of barely anything, it's scary when you're self employed and the work dries up.
-
8/29- grateful for a long holiday weekend that is getting started today! Weather here is gorgeous, my favorite time of the year as the weather cools down. Nothing like waking up to crisp fresh air in the morning!

Grateful for my wonderful, talented hairdresser. Also grateful for the Mexican restaurant that serves such tasty, fresh food. There are four of them in my town.

Grateful for the weekend. This past week has felt like the longest month of my life, and like everyone else here, I have had some looooong months! -

ah, miss this thread...
8/27: so very grateful BS agreed with my PS, my "something" is just scar tissue/cording returning, in two spots. BS also said my recon job looks absolutely beautiful, especially where we started 2 years ago. She took a look at my list of questions, pointed to the line item of "3D tat tits" and said Vinnie Myers, he's the best! She's aware of him! We're on the West Coast, and she knows of his talents. Love her even more! Big discussion about this with her and office staff. They were surprised I had so much info (on my cell) about this topic and others in the US, but none local. There may be a miracle to allow me to have this procedure done by the best, and maybe I can afford it too.
8/28: grateful that after much searching (soul searching), the POA's and other docs for Mom and Dad we have been searching for have appeared. For months, Dad thought he shredded the current/valid ones and only has the NV ones. Turns out the older of my younger brothers has had both copies of everything all this time, wth? At least that's solved. (But turns out I have no authority for health issues all this time so that needs to get changed).
8/29: have had probs with cell phone. T-mobile had an easy fix, got a new SIM card for free! Also, had a happy breakdown at Kohls (dad gave me some spending money, just for me): did something I haven't done in over 20 years: tried on cute long sun dresses. Found one with spaghetti straps, that fit, ME! Haven't felt ready or confident in the past 2 years, 16 years with a uni-boob, didn't feel comfortable about wearing one after DD was born almost 21 years ago. Progress! Plus cashier had special coupon, other offers - also got 3 pairs of shoes, 1 cami/bra, and a pj top, all for $75. Score!
8/30: grateful the Internet got fixed a little while ago so I can access BCO.
-
2nd time- I am glad your brother found the POA documents. Whew!
I love Kohls and have bought some great things there this year, including some things for home re-decorating as part of the renovation work. They have great stuff, including clothes! I just got a box in the mail today with some mail order items for the house!

I'm sure she was grateful to have lunch with you too, onco!
I am grateful that our high school football team won last night. We know lots of the players (including our godson) and they have a new coach who is so energetic and positive that he has really revitalized the program.....very nice to see them doing well (as that has not been the case for many years!).
-
Onco that was a lovely gift. Maddy sounds like you had a fun time at Kohls and glad the POA has been found.
Grateful for a vey fun evening at the local Vietnamese night market and then delicious dinner, don't have a clue what was ordered but it was fabulous.
-
Also grateful for Kohl's! Love the sale racks!!

8/31- grateful for a wonderful day at the hot springs.

Grateful that my DH's 65th birthday bash is now a thing of the past. I have spent so many hours on this and nerves were starting to get the better of me but I am told it was a marvellous party by those who attended. Just stressful and it took a full day to clean my house and yard afterwards. I'm very tired now and going to bed as I am one of the lucky ones who gets to work tomorrow. Have a nice Labour Day.
