2nd time lol love that he ha ha

Smarty remember go in there with your head high. If you get to be the one to talk first then make the Ps aware of what you are unhappy about. If the Ps starts talking none stop, let him/her but after she / him is done you then say. " oh i understand your point but this is not what I expected and it is affecting my daily life. I would like to improve the results and I have research and believe it can be much better. " do not feel intimidated by the Ps. Remember this is my 3rd opinion now I was been turn down by another Ps who basically said, " you should leave it as it's, this is as good as it can get, I think it looks ok" well ok is not enough for me so after I cry in my car that day. I told myself I am not giving up lol so here I go again ;) who knows if I ll get great results but I am positive it will improve and that for small that it's, will make me happy 😊 .

Pls let us know how it goes. I will be here as soon as I wake up and the nurse gives me back my phone lol

Sailing Wind, I took iron pills which helped my restless legs. My reading was in the normal range but too low for the blood bank. You might ask your doctor for a test. The other things that have helped me is stretching my calves before bed and massaging my feet and calves with hand lotion. Restless legs are so annoying.

SailingWind - I don't have RLS, but in the past, there were times when I just had to keep moving my legs in bed.... it felt like I'd had too much caffeine, but only in my legs!

I started taking Magnesium, and that went away. Just a thought.

    ~ ~ ~

I'm still laying low, trying to find my brain. Still going to Acupuncture, it helps. Recovering from a traumatic brain injury is not like recovering from a cut on your hand. You can't see anything healing, and it doesn't get better every single day. It comes and goes. I still lose words, I still have no concept of time. I may ask for a referral to a neurologist and see what he recommends. Probably: BE PATIENT!!!!!

Big hugs to all..... I may not be posting but I lurk when I can!!!!

ok, saw the new doc. He said my current reconstruction he would give a 60%-70%. Not a great job but not terrible. He would have done it differently starting with the bmx.  Said he could make it better!!  So, yes I'm willing to try one more time. So probably sometime in January or February, I could be getting new boobs for my birthday again!  Now to start the paperwork to change health provider.

Enerva, I finally looked to see where you are, so you're on east coast time, and  you're on Lake Ontario. So all those pics are of this lake? I think your funny that the first thing you want is your phone. I hope you get what you want this time around and it all goes well. I will be thinking of you tomorrow until you cHeck in. In your pocket (with the drains :)! Keeping my fingers crossed that you don't get sick this time.

Blessings, take it one day at a time, even if you don't know when it's one day. Hope this doesn't take forever to resolve.

4sew. What are they doing with this sx? A new implant or TE?

need to catch up, long, difficult day.

Enerva, hoping you're calming your nerves, tomorrow at this time, you will be resting at home, feeling so much better (a little sore maybe, but pleased it's over!)

    Smaarty, woo hoo to possibilities!

I saw this and wanted to share, had a lot of respect for Robin Williams, now even more so.

Just a  quick note to the newbies and those just starting to see redness. I just finished up last Thursday and my skin is so much better already, it really started to heal quickly for me. Hope this gives some of you a little encouragement. Still fatigued, but that will improve too. Best of luck Ladies. Hugs, Stephanie

What a great idea! Too many people assume homeless people are stupid and lazy. I knew one homeless woman who had quit her job to care for her ailing mother until her death. Once her mother was gone, they kicked the woman out because it was senior housing and she wasn't a senior.

There's a nurse in Seattle who works at a clinic that sees many homeless people. She paints their portraits (wonderful paintings). The only way to get one is to donate to the clinic. Say, 2,000 pairs of sox, etc.

Enerva.....big gentle hug to you. I hope the surgery goes well and you're pleased with the results. Rest up and post when you can.

Hi 2nd, I've been thinking about you. I hope things get easier soon and the perfect job opens up or you.

Nice to see you 4444444. Hope your surgery goes well on Friday.

Sailing, I agree with Wren, iron pills helped my restless legs. But you might try magnesium as Blessings suggested which is easier on the stomach than iron pills. if you get your iron checked make sure they check iron saturation level as well as ferritin level. Good luck.

I wish all of you a painfree carefree day. Hugs to all.

you look great for just coming out of sx!! Hope you heal quickly and not too much pain.  Looks like you're not going to be as sick as you were last time and that's great! Nothing worse then waking up ready to throw up.

Be good and don't do anything you're not suppose to!

Finally  I am now in my bed. I took my pain killer and I feel so good in my bed lol I have a lot of blood around the dressing but my breast look so good compared to before I love it. LOVE IT.  in fact the non rad side looks a bit tighter but I am sure it will improve after cuz the rad side will tight by itself. I am telling you my new results it's like I have my beautiful breast back I wish could kiss that doctor I can not begin to tell you how happy I am. I finally feel good about myself again. I am so emotional right now. I love love it love it.  It's my breast back girls it was all worth it.  I now can go on with my life.

THANKS FOR BEEN HERE WITH ME.

Ok so I got the NSRX695

Off course he did not give me the style 20 700 but at least he gave me a close one. Before the surgery I told him in front of the nurses and the anestesiologist,  Dr.X  I want either the style20 700 or the NSRX695 do not wake me up unless I got one or the other lol and he said I will see how it goes with the rad side first, I said trust me you will be fine as soon as you take the contracted capsule out you will have room for 750 cc so I know you will be ok. Then he look at his colleagues and say " this one knows her stuff" I was also serious I then added, I wanted removable stitching wherever possible. And I asked him what ever hole you open pls make sure it's close sensibly. ( remember last time that idiot ps send me home bleeding by holes she did not stitched properly? Lol then I also mentioned if I will have drains, pls use the same drain scars from before, I do not want any more scars ha ha ha I told him straight all that I need to say. And atvthe end I say oh Ya one more thing. They all stared at me.  I said THANK YOU.!!!  Then he said do not thank me yet. I said THANK YOU. What ever result I get THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR FIXING THIS UP. Thank u for listening to me and for been a great doctor. And I smile 😊 finally and say let's do this. Ha ha ha onlybthen I gave a Smile. Girl I needed to make my point and it felt great.

So here it is . I need to Ask u one more thing . I got no drains. He managed reduce one breast which is the one with no rad. I see lots of blood around the incisions so how long do I Wait to changeable Dressing ? I need to minimize the scars so I Want to keep clean. I got all I need to change dressing I just don't know how many hours do I Wait ?

Smarty I pm .now I ll be there for u n you will also get the results you deserve ;)

Enerva, so glad you are done and home, don't wait for pain meds, you can't play catch up once the pain gets bad. I ended up back in the ER because I missed a dose. I would not change the bandage for at least 24 hours, can you call your hospital, nurse should be able to answer this question? Please get some rest and feel better soon. Stephanie

Enerva, I'm happy to see you home, keep taking your pain meds, it is impossible to play catch up once the pain gets out of hand, this ended me up in the ER and I had to have more morphine, So take it on time for a few days. I would not change the dressing for at least 24 hours, can you call your hospital and speak to a nurse? They should have given you instructions on home care. Hope you get some rest and feel better soon. Stephanie

if you haven't eaten any thing the pills might make your stomach feel worse.  Try crackers

Happy for you, Enerva! Try taking the pain meds with crackers or applesauce... and sipping ginger ale or ginger tea for nausea.... may that be just a VERY temporary side effect!

enerva, pm you back. Hope you're sleeping now. It's been very quiet here. I like the new doc, said I should have had the sling (Aladerm or stratus). He would have done it differently. He can also remove my booblets which my ps wouldn't do, that's a plus. So onward to a new me. Have a tentative sx of January 27. Hoping the change to new insurance goes smoothly.

4sew, how are you doing? Hope it went well as you expected. Check in please!

Tang, how are you, been sleeping in the wee hours??  :)

    Night guys.
