4444, how is your fin doing
Blessings, happy you are happy and at peace with your decision...very cool...have fun !!
Sorry Chevy, spam is disgusting....but I do LOVE corned beef hash
Blessings...oh boy..what those firefighters go through..one was on training during the walk. Walked in full gear for two days. I don't know how they do it. I would have expired from dehydration. We forget how dedicated they are and what they have to go through . And you in the womens auxiliary , how cool was that!!!! Had to be great times and great memories.
Hi 2nd, hi spookier hi cami, hi teka, and dutchris, and holeinone one, and everyone else I can't remember the names..lol. I can see the avatars in my head but not the names..ha ha
The wedding pics are beautiful .....those are fun fun times !!
Have a great day everyone
-
good morning owlettes...have a beautiful colorful day
-
susan, need sunglasses to look at those owls!
Today, started planting our vegetable garden in the hot sun.
-
Susan, I'm amazed that you can do that! You're amazing. Those owls would make a pretty quilt. I'm saving the pic. Who knows, maybe I'll even make it someday.
Like spam, hate hash.
Hey sew4444, how is you?
Everyone else, have a good morning/afternoon.

1, for each member!
-
Susan, that is AWESOME!!! What a great accomplishment! My mouse pad occasionally goes haywire and scrolls really fast and the first time the photo scrolled by fast and I thought your water bottle was a penis balloon. LOL! Why the thought occurred to me that someone would have a weener balloon is beyond me. Great looking family all of you!
My daughter and I are like oil and water. We used to be very close. She inherited my love of birds and nature. But that's about the only thing we have in common anymore. She is a college student now but lives in her room when she's not in class. Refuses to help out around the house or take care of her room. She's driving both hubby and I crazy. (He calls her the tenant that doesn't pay.) It's really stressful because I could use the extra help now. But she continues to pull away. I imagine it's her coping mechanism to distance herself. It makes me really sad though.
Chevy, I need the spam casserole recipe. We love spam around here. Mostly with eggs in the morning.
Cute owl pics!
-
smaarty, are we all getting one!!!!! You r soooo talented....great job. Love them
-
FBB.....yessssss the bc walk is all about penises....lol. That was toooo funny
-
Morning all....as busy as always with great fun & variety of chit chat.
Susan, wow, so impressed with your accomplishment. I love participating in those type of walks. I need to start training a little more. My goal for the summer/fall is to hike Baldy Mt.
Smaarty, awesome job on your dresses & weight loss.
FiercestBlueBird, thanks for my smile of the day. Susan carrying a penis balloon in a cancer walk...he he he...... Sorry to hear that DD is not "getting it". She will mature & change.
Zigpop, ok, what in the begeebes is a chiliquila? The rest of this food stuff, I have had or seen. Not sure if I have ever eaten Spam, do not think so...could not now. My father ate pigs feet....makes me gag just typing that. Kinda of embarrassing, like some back woods goof ball. He was an attorney, smart guy.
2nd Timer, thinking of you & feeling like things have gotten better or settled down. When you become employed you will have more power in your relationship. I do not know if that is fair, but it does seem to be the way it is.
Tangarang, Last chemo this week? Thursday? I am having my port removed that day.
Lee, Nettie, Phylissismissing, Spookie, Cami, Chevster, Teka, Blessing, LMG, Jwoo & whomever I am forgetting right now....thanks for all the banter...
Sas....you are missed !

My DSiL just arrived back with a coffee for me. DD has gone to have her hair cut. DD and I have has a few words because she has always since a little one loaded guilt on me and has done so since I arrived. Despite this we are close and I feel her frustrations about not being able to get a job here in Canada.
Have hay fever which didn't help sleeping also RA playing up so I not a bundle of joy today. Hope I feel better tomorrow as we are starting to move things. DGD and I have been playing on the computers
I caught up on reading posts in the middle of the night. It was strange reading in the middle of the night instead of during the day.
Well owlettes the coffee has revived me.
Hihs

Aw Alyson hope things get better all around!

SAS where are you??? Does anyone here have a way to try to get ahold of her besides using these boards? Maybe it was on a different forum but I thought some people had ways to get ahold of members through email, FB, or phone.. Just wondering if anyone has tried to get ahold of her or if anyone knows if maybe she just needed to take some time off.. I checked and she hasn't posted since May 25.
-
Crog,
Spookie has called her phone & left a message. I am guessing she needed time away.
-
Hi guys! So hot here! Can't even work outdoors..... only early in the mornings.....
I had DH go over in the ditch, and get this tree limb that was in a pile of branches. I wanted to decorate a "tree" for my garden.... Either put it in the ground, or PLANT it in a pot, with lots of heavy little rocks and marbles... So I put it in a pot, then this Winter, I can move it in the garage. I hung clear tear-drop crystals, some while silk carnations, and these other brown-bronze glittle flowers.... And I draped that hanging moss (plastic) over the little branches...
It really looks nice.... so I put it out front on one corner of our house!
I talked to Sassy, and she says she is doing fine, and she needed a break.... So that's all I know....
I had my Daughter get her phone number from MY computer, in my "address book" so I could let someone know I broke my stupid hip! And I called Cammi too, and drove her nuts....
I tried to get my DD#2 to log in to BC.ORG from her Iphone, but neither one of us could DO it! So I was "lost and floundering".... L&F in other words!
-
*BBQ Time*
-
had a nice day on the water today. I love Puget Sound!
-
Chevy, glad you talked to sas, maybe we can relax a bit and not worry about her so much.
-
Yes, she's ok.
-
Just for those wondering, I had a rough weekend, Migraines! Went to chiro today, had a pretty good visit, he found some spots that he worked on and said I would feel better!! However, I came home and had to mow our lawn and while trying to get off the mower to move something, caught my flip flop and took a pretty good tumble!! so, now my arm, leg, back and neck are not feeling to good!! but at least I know why for now!! I'm off to bed to see if I can find a comfortable enough position so I can get some sleep! Maybe I'll catch up tomorrow!
-
Well guess sleep didn't work. And it looks like I'm a loner tonight, good to know most are resting.
-
not only am I pages behind but when I start reading, there's a big skip. So I've probably missed a bunch.
Chevy, beautiful table you set. Sorry I missed the fun.
Ziggy, thanks so much for your explanation. Have no idea if that's the case, but maybe there's hope for DD yet.
Susan, you are such an amazing woman! You have every right to be proud! Obnoxious? NO! This was an occasion to celebrate and you did it up right! Looking the colorful owls.
Smaarty, the owls are so cute!
GardenGumby, that looks so relaxing and peaceful
Glad to hear SAS is ok.
For everyone missed, hope the start to your week and month is going well.
For all: thanks for all your love and support! Difficult weekend, but got to have a relaxing spa day with my friends yesterday and a wonderful lunch with some BCO ladies today. Will try to post a picture (the only one I have seen so far - a not so flattering pose.
-
Thought some owlette might be awake. Went to bed really early DGS came with me and we both fell asleep. DD moved him to his own bed.
Do love all the flowers around but must get something for hay fever today.
-
Oh Nettie, I'm so sorry you did a face plant! Yikes! Gets to be sort of routine after awhile... It will all hurt worse about the 2nd day.... Just take some Aleve, and try and stay out of that prone position! At least you could get UP!
Yes GG, that DOES look beautiful! I haven't seen that much water since our last trip to Orlando!
Teka I LOVE those nails! Did you get them done at a Salon? Or did you do them yourself?
-
good morning gals,,,,hug someone today to make them feel better...you can even hug yourself
-
Nettie, sorry about your tumble. Hope you finally got some sleep and r feeling better. Promise us no flip flops ....ok?

-

-
Spookiesmom & Chevyboy, Thank You!!
I've been leaving *sas* private posts, but not even lurking.
I am now ready to get on with Summer!
-
Hey gals.... If you just click Sassies name, you will see where she posted and where she said she is taking a break....
But I think if you look back about 10-20 pages on here, you will see a lot more gals that used to post on this thread, and they just move on....... or post on other threads....
Or maybe they can sleep now..... Ha!
