    Good morning ladies.

Mumito, welcome home. Glad you're safe and sound.

PoohBear, I feel for you girl. We have snow banks like that too. My mom, who lives only an hour away, has little teeny 2 foot ones. She can't believe the difference when she comes to visit.

Honeybair, congrats on finishing Herceptin. Cheers to good check ups in the future.

Chrissy, great news about the insurance.

Maddy, glad that earthquake left you unharmed. Funny about the new chimes.

    Jazzy, sooooooo jealous!

Cheryl, have a great weekend -win lots!

    Day #88

Today, I am grateful to be flying back to ontario the afternoon. I miss my furbabies.

Grateful I do not live where those piles of snow are.  I thought we had it bad here in New England this winter, but OMG.

Grateful to attend the wedding shower for my best friend's son and fiancée this AM. It is so nice to see how the babies you held have grown up to such nice young adults.

March 29th- beautiful day today. Grateful for my fun little convertible (aka midlife crisis car) to ride around in on days like this.

2nd time- sister and family are fine. She said the pets all went under the bed, it scared them (including the dog). I am waiting to hear from her to find out of she has felt any after shocks.

Grateful for my sons long time girlfriend. I really like her, hoping she's the one. Always wanted to have daughter in laws that were like daughters.

    Reading back over earlier posts:

Onco, love the "moo goes to meow". Have heard there have been aftershocks, but haven't felt any (and my feet haven't run for the door either!). DD felt one last night, I haven't. Nothing can match my scare during the Whittier quake, I was practically sitting above it.

Jazzy, if/when you visit your sister, and have the time, please remember to let me know. Met with a couple BCO ladies in Newport back in December, (ahem, to any of you posting on this thread), would love the pleasure of meeting you too.

    Speaking of which:

Day 88: grateful the earthquake was only 5.1 and not the big one, that it didn't do any damage here, last too long and haven't felt any aftershocks.

Got all this health insurance done today. Still get to keep my current medical team, save quite a bit of money, and hopefully everything else will work out too.

Also got to meet another local BCO friend (and her DH) for lunch. Trying to start a local meet-up group like the wonderful San Diego ladies.

Ruthbru- oh no, that is so not fair! Where will you put any more snow?

My friends and family back east say the snow there is melting and it is raining and now things are flooding.

oh no Ruth, that's a lot of snow. Hop on a plane to Georgia, it's freakishly warm here, mid 70's for the week, even in the mountains.

Today I'm grateful for a wonderful day with DH. We've been married almost 35 years and I still love him dearly.

    Day #89

Today I am sooooooo grateful to be home. To hold my puppy and give her a bath, to see my kitten and old cat are well and complaining like usual. They both like more scritches than I give them I think. To see also that we had a couple nice days this week that lowered the snow banks a bit. Yay!

Day 7: Grateful for antihistamines to clear my nose and stop the sneezing.

yesterday grateful for an event free and easy drive back home from Las Vegas ... Maddy we woke up so early we decided to cancel brunch and hit the road early and stopped in Primm.

I want to also add something from my weekend.  I was in Las Vegas for an exercise convention, a really massive one that is really for instructors but they started allowing instructors to bring members with them and so I've been to a few locally but this one was BIG. I used to exercise before my diagnosis but I could be talked out of going to the gym but my onc told me it was the best thing I could do for myself, so after surgery I used to sit on the recumbent bike and look in in a class called Body Combat and once I was given the all clear I talked to the instructor and he gave me all kinds of advice and my love of Combat was born, well one of the reasons I went to Vegas is that the couple who are the program directors came from New Zealand to lead a class. Friday night I was heading to my dance class and I forgot my bracelet to get in so I had to go back to my room, the girl I was with offered to go back as it was a long way but no it was my fault, well on the way back a man walked past me and as I looked I realized it was Dan Cohen - Body Combat director so for me it was like going to Mecca, I tapped him in the shoulder and as we walked Together I told him of my journey and how much I loved his program and how it had changed me, he couldn't have been nicer and my mistake lead me to have a private 10 minute walk and talk with someone I never imagined I would meet in person. For me a truly gratifying experience.

Day 89: grateful that is was a beautiful spring day today and that DH was in an energetic mood. He cleaned out the garage, fixed the lawn mower (so I could mow the back yard while he was cleaning and helped me lift the grass clippings bag to empty them for me), and he made a great barbecued chicken dinner.

Cheryl, that is awesome meeting someone who has impacted your life in such a positive way! No such thing as coincidence! (So glad the trip home was uneventful, it can be brutal at times)

    Very cool, Cheryl.

We have been in a blizzard all day, so I am grateful that being trapped in the house inspired me to do a task I had been putting off forever.....I cleaned out the furnace room....a big job & now I can cross it off my list! ThumbsUp

    Day #90

OMG - at the beginning of this thread, at few of you asked if we had to stop at day 100. We are now 9/10ths the way thru. Holy cow.

    Today I am grateful for my decision NOT to stop posting when day 100 arrives. Some of you are behind us and that is totally okay. Whenever you joined - you keep going, I'll be there with you. {{{huggles}}}

Hanging in there too Red, I think this thread is a wonderful idea. It teaches us that even when we have had a crappy day, there is always something to be grateful for.

Today I'm grateful for insurance. Even though I received a medical bill in the mail today, the amount I have to pay is so much less than it would have been without insurance.
