Ha Onco I came home from Vegas and I have 6 episodes of Call the Midwife recorded over the weekend it's in my automatic find anywhere and record list, probably repeats before the new season, love that show and am still waiting for Doc Martin to come back.
Today I am grateful for my BFF in Australia, in today's mail I received her birthday card to me which she had posted way in advance but goodness knows where it has been, she wrote me a four page letter set to the theme of The Beatles 'when I'm 64' which of course I just turned, she recalled our friendship over the past 44 years and she listed all of the places we've traveled together and the great memories we've shared, it was a real tear jerker.

Day 90: grateful I got some sleep last night: had a 3-hour phone call and that got me all wired up. Think I overdid the yard work and my chest was hurting more than I wanted. Rain storms are coming our way so I was happy to get some shrubs trimmed. Grateful that DD listed her car for sale, my DH's phone was going off all night, maybe we'll get it sold soon.
Cheryl, what a wonderful friend you have.
-
Grateful for this thread and for ...drumroll please ....... ANOTHER STORM DAY ....office is closed and DH and I got to sleep in .....!!!!!! snow banks just keep getting bigger ....wish it was an April fools day joke but it isnt .
-
Grateful today to have been able to have new baby cuddles! Love those new baby cuddles and the special smell that all new babies have.........reminds me that life does go on and on and on and on.........
-
Grateful that Spring is finally here in Toronto.Snow and ice are melting
-
April 1st- grateful for a good night of rest (despite weird dreams).
-
Cheryl - how wonderful and there are no coincidences!
Grateful today for the sun and not needing to wear my heavy winter jacket
-
Day #91
Today I am grateful for my boss Scott, who is letting me have an extended lunch so I can deal with my mom. Despite this being the 1st of the month and all month end reporting has to be in today. He's super.
Write more later. :-)

So neat, Cheryl!
Very grateful that the snow blower (which sat in the garage unused all winter) decided to start today when we really needed it!
-
What a sweet friend Cheryl, such a thoughtful, heartfelt thing to do.
Today I'm grateful for a beautiful sunny day, it's 77 degrees here, and grateful for leftovers in the fridge so I don't have to cook dinner tonight ( since I've been goofing off outside all day)
-
-
Today I'm grateful for the rain that fell through the night not much and it brought in howling winds and hopefully more rain tonight, we need it.
-
Day 91: I am grateful too, Cheryl that we had the rain last night and it was clear today (and pretty cold). Also grateful I spoke with a cousin today whose daughter is going thru similar issues with her daughter as I am.
Almost 11 PM and I hear rain!
Edited to add: it didn't last very long
-
Cheryl, love your stories on the BFF and Dan Cohen.
Grateful for the beautiful paintings on loan from Los Angeles and Montreal at our museum.
-
Grateful for my brothers and sister .......... I just love them !
-
Day #92
Today I am grateful for the bagels that a coworker brought in and the birds I can here chirping. That means spring, right?
-
-
Really grateful for accountants during tax season
Also grateful that I am beginning to feel more energetic each day since I have completed all Herceptin treatments.
-
grateful that the sun came out for awhile this morning
-
I'm grateful for allergy meds. Seems I had a little to much of the great outdoors.
-
I am grateful that I feel good both physically and mentally today.
-
grateful for my dance class today, I always come out of there with a smile on my face
-
Day 92: grateful that the weather cooperated and remained dry for the funeral of the husband of a friend of mine. Grateful I made the decision to change my plans for the remainder of the day: instead of going to a job fair (which was almost a waste of my time when I attended a similar one in Sept) I went to see my parents (was much more important and closer in location). It rained out there for a while but cleared up in time for me to drive home.
-
Grateful that my back pain is almost gone .
-
Grateful that there is no wind, because it is snowing AGAIN!
-
Oh no Ruth! Not more snow!
Maddy my condolences on your friend's and your loss. Glad the weather cooperated for you.
Pooh, yay for back pain being almost gone.
Day #93
Sorry to copy but today I am grateful for my back pain being almost gone too! As soon as I read Pooh's, I went - hey, me too!
-
So grateful to be able to find really fresh kale and mustard greens, two of my faves, and even more grateful that I like them. Now if I could just say the same for green tea.
-
Grateful for husband.
