100 Days of Gratitude
Comments
-
I am grateful for some alone time this morning. A quiet house, with nobody home right now but me. Nothing pressing that I have to do. Time to sit and watch it snow (again!!) and just think.
-
Grateful for friends and family!
-
I am grateful for my hubby, and for my PS.
I put a "real bra" and (for me) a clingy t-shirt type of top, for the first time in years today, after living with a uni capsular contracture, then recovering from a flap recon. Didn't tell hubby I had dressed differently....and his immediate reactions was....."gosh, you look great...you should dress like that more often"!!!! WOOHOO
-
nihahi - LOVE IT!
-
nihahi - it always feels great to wear 'real' clothes doesn't it?
Today I am grateful that I a going to go take a long shower, have a chair which I neglected to have set up yesterday so shower was cut off mid-suds (NOT good). And day 25 without smoking (crabbiness abounds but have not caved yet).
-
Grateful that I have a wonderful, considerate DH. He is just the best there is!
-
I am grateful and thankful we have a God who knows our hearts and never gives us more than we can handle, who makes a way when their seems to be no way out. Praising God.
-
(ziggy...congrats on 25 days...drop the yet at the end of cave, bottom line..you have not caved. I quit 20 years ago, best thing I ever did for myself. You go goirl!!)
I am grateful for the BCO sister on the Humor and Games thread last night when I could not sleep.
-
I am grateful I had enough energy today to go to the grocery store, to make something from scratch for lunch, and not be exhausted afterwards.
-
lovewins...so true!
curveball...glad you're feeling better.
Today I am grateful for a wonderful day spent with DH doing totally nothing, love him even more than I did in 1979 when we got married. Wow, 1979, we're really old!
-
Yea Ziggy!!
-
ziggy - keep up the good work! It ain't easy being a quitter but you have the support of everyone here. You can do it!
Grateful to have our hydro back on this afternoon (went out about 4am). It was a long ole day being storm stayed with no hydro. Thank goodness for the wood stove for heat and the ability to make COFFEE!
-
Today I am grateful that I didn't have to drive in the blowing snow, there were many accidents around here. I do have to go out tomorrow, so I hope it gets better! Grateful to be sitting by the fireplace staying warm!
-
Grateful that a cancer healing retreat has been made available in my area ....just signed up

Day #25
Today, I am grateful that our trip home was uneventful. Including the drive from the airport in that horrible weather!
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. My DH and I had a lovely 3 days together, and in the 4 days I was on my own, I think I made friends with every child on the resort! One little girl asked her dad if they could take me home with them. Lol.
Way to go Ziggy!!
-
ah, Red, glad you're home safely and have some good memories, plus DH got to enjoy some time with you,
Ziggy, way to go!
Day #25: I am again grateful for my BCO friends. Had too much caffeine yesterday (I did order de-caf) so I was awake till the wee hours, and I wasn't alone. Had been feeling alone and lonely as I got another reminder yesterday that "my friends" just aren't there for me any more. Yet I don't have to be alone or lonely if I so choose. Also grateful for the nap I got this afternoon after this morning's yoga.
-
Yeah Ziggy, welcome home Red, (((Maddy)))
Today I am grateful that I got a free massage at the chiropractor associated with my gym, my back has been sore all week so it was a real treat.
Happy Australia Day Chrissy

grateful for good roads today and for being able to go ice fishing with my DH, although we didn't catch anything, it was fun to be out there!
Ziggy, you have this beat! Congrats on doing so well!
-
today I'm grateful for a warm sunny winter day. It got up to 50 here in the mountains, considering it was down around 12 degrees this week, 50 is a heat wave. Enjoyed sitting outside at the firepit with my silly rescue dog that looks like an old Black and Tan hound dog. She's just a big old bucket of love.
-
I am grateful for my nice warm house!
-
I am grateful for the spectacular plane ride over the mountains and canyon lands, and for landing in a place that is warm and sunny.
-
Enjoy!
-
Yup.....I've got room in my pockets for anyone who wants to join us. Heading out in a bit for an evening stroll. Wish it could be a group walk!
-
Jumping in Nihahi. Pocket party everyone!
