Check in = 1 point
Weight = 0 points
Exercise = 12 points
Daily H2O = 7 points
Extra credit = 1 point – took Monday off last week instead of fighting through a snowstorm to get to work. That was the right decision based on what I saw on the evening news: accidents, slide-offs, and two people died in crashes. My job is important but not worth that risk!
Total = 21

Badger--I'm wishing I had the option of not going to work today, but have a mandatory 8:30 meeting. Sigh. -
Sorry I've been MIA for awhile. Hope everything is well with everyone. -
Good to see you, Meece! Getting into a busy time of year, aren't we? -
DS is facing a big health issue and right now I am watching over him here at my place. We are weaning him back to his own place, but I want to know he is okay so it is nice to have him here.
I think some of my meds may be what is causing the weight gain. I need to speak with my GP about it. Once DS is out of the house again the stationary bike is coming back in, and going to be used. -
hiya Meece ((hugs)) !!

Extra credit = 1 point – signed up for a 5K Polar Run/Walk to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The event is tomorrow and it’s gonna be freakin’ freezing here. Sub-zero wind chills. I’m not a runner and even though I walk fast, it takes me 45 mins to walk 5K (~3 miles). I will show up and pay the $10 reg fee, but maybe go walk 5K inside somewhere warm.
Total = 24

Badger--sounds like a plan! -
Thanks NM! Just back from the Polar 5K and did walk outside. Sunny and 4 degrees. Thank goodness for silk long johns! Also silk socks & glove liners, a ragg wool sweater, a windbreaker, and a fleece hat, scarf, and gloves. All for a good cause. No t-shirt but that's OK, they can send more money to St. Jude's. ♥

Just saying Hi - I've been a bit under the weather so not exercising and yet my appetite is better than ever. Nothing serious just a few niggley things getting the better of me and then ended uo having to have a gastroscopy last week and I'm still waiting on results. I blame it all on the meds I've been taking over the past 4 years. And I'm with you Meece I blame the weight gain on meds too - I was doing fine while on Tamoxifen - in fact I lost 100lbs while on it but since I've gone on Arimidex I've put back on almost 50lbs. It's so disheartening. -
hi Ainm, good to see ya! I've gained back half of what I lost and it's VERY disheartening.
I get enough exercise so it's my diet. Can I hire someone to follow me around and eat the stuff I shouldn't?
It has been nigh impossible to get through the holidays without chocolate, cheese, sugar or wheat so I said heck with it and ate what I wanted so that's why I'm up. Making rum balls to take to a cookie exchange next week. You bring 3 cookies for everyone who signs up and we have 12 people participating so I will bring 3 dozen rum balls and come home with 3 dozen assorted cookies. I know this is an excuse but I want to share in the seasonal camraderie at work and that's worth blowing my diet for. I'll get back on track after the first of the year. ♥
-
Hi Ainm!! Glad to see you.
Be careful Badger, I blew off a few days last Christmas and it took me much longer to get it back off than to put it on! Good job on the St. Jude's effort...man, it's freezing out there! -
Thanks, Jane, I hear ya! It's not like I'm going totally bonkers, just not eschewing chocolate, cheese, or sugar. Still avoiding wheat but the rum balls have crushed vanilla wafers in them so I will have a little wheat flour.
Your experience last Christmas is why you're doing so well this Christmas! ♥

Roadrunner checking in for the last time in 2013. Headed on vacation next week and not back for 2 wks. I’ll be somewhere warm where I’ll eat healthfully and walk every day so will start 2014 in decent shape.
