I have a whole bar with windows 7 on the windows live mail page. On the Internet I have a smaller bar and most of it I don't use. On the right side of my Internet/BC. Org page is a house which stands for home, the white star which takes care of placing your favorites ( the complete list ) and a little round thingy that is for tools.
I still remain amazed that I've learned anything about this darn computer. Often, especially since this Windows 7, I have been more or less forced to.......but, I did reach a point whereI got tired of not learning anything because I feared blowing the thing up...............or something equally awful like tripping the red button at the White House or some other equally dumb thing. I was so timid. Now its just time to learn.

According to the 3 emails I received from BC.org last evening, within the course of about 1 minute, 1) my private messaging privileges were restricted, 2) I had a post that was reported and deleted by the community, and 3) I was outright banned with my account cancelled until some date in November.
I discovered all this when I pushed the "Submit" button on a post and the message came back that I was not allowed to post because my account was cancelled. So I thought the post never went through but in checking the board, what showed up was that the post had been "deleted by the community", which clearly didn't happen since the posting and deleting appear to have happened simultaneously. (And in any case, there was nothing even remotely offensive in my post.)
I emailed BC.org and everything was reinstated within about 20 minutes.
So first, thank you for the quick response.
And second, was it just me? Or has this happened to anyone else? Is there a glitch in the system that we should be aware of? -
Hi Beesie,
First, we apologize for this inconvenience! Yes we are implementing some changes and there are some posts that are incorrectly being identified as spam -- we are trying to quickly reverse any of these false reports. We are hoping to have this ironed out shortly, but there may be a few more bumps along the way.
Thanks for your patience!!!

Mods.....might anyone ask what changes, though so far I've never objected to anything you have done. Just some things are a struggle. It seems like the changes have something to do with reporting things.
Jackie -
Correct... we are implementing a spam-identifying program that is still working out some kinks...
Hang in there! -
Two nights ago I was typing my post and then next thing it popped up 'your post will be reported as spam' I just figured it was the stupid iPad I use so I just escaped as it appeared I was reporting myself, huh!!!!! -
That's a new one HBCheryl! We'll pass along to the tech team -- we certainly don't want you reporting yourself!!!
-
Well, that's KIND of funny when you think about it....
-
Mods, thank you for the explanation.
And I'm glad that I was able to help, even inadvertently, with the testing of these changes! (And here I could use one of the missing smileys). -
they're coming soon too!!!!! we promise!!!! <<insert embarrassed, blushing smiley here>> -
Howdy!
I am on an iPad 3. I am unable to update my biography. I am able to get a cursor to appear in the type box, but it won't let me type anything. Icky poosticks. -
SuperFoob, if you can get the text to appear in a PM, send us your change/s and we'll update your bio for you until the formatting issues can be fixed. -
PM sent. Thank you! -
There you go, SuperFoob - all updated. 😃 -
I have a question rather than a glitch - is there a way to go to a specific page in a topic? I started at the beginning of a topic that has 170 pages and don't really want to have to page through all the beginning pages to get to where I stopped reading.
Thanks -
Hi Savgigi,
While we are currently working on a "go to page" function, there is a work around for this. At the top of the page in the browser bar, if you read the URL of the page you're on, you'll see a "page=xxx" indicating which page of the thread you're on. If you replace the number of the page you're on (xxx) with the page you'd like to jump to and press enter (or go), you should be taken to the desired page!
We hope this helps!

not sure if this is a result of the latest changes: why does my sig line show only 1 line (of the 2) of my Hormonal Therapy? I see that others have more than 1. Just curious -
hmmm 2nd_time_around, this is a new one. Can you confirm you've elected to make that info public in the Treatments area of My Profile? -
duh, you're right, I'm wrong. So very sorry!
After edit,
They are both being listed. Delete this post! -
haha no problem! Glad we figured it out together
-
feeling embarrassed... Insert embarrassed smiley here. Hoping this is the worst (and easiest) problem you get all day
Have a super day! -
Please! No need to be embarrassed! -
Thanks, Mods. I'll give that a try -
The emoticons are back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy! -
Happy, Happy
-
Yes they are!!
They're missing a few but hey, it's a great start. -
So CUTE! Thank you Mods! -
I guess personally, I need an 'embarrassed face' emoticon. And maybe an 'angry' one? The GRRRR LE thread definitely needs an angry one. (Maybe the devil would work.) -
So cute Thank you moderators -
Yeah. You rock mods. I was hoping for a few more but these are great.
