    checking in after a long week of being sick. My son got it worse than I did, he's been nauseous for 2 weeks. I think we might have the cryptosporidium parasite that is affecting our community. But, feeling a little better today.

    Friday ~ 3 

    Water ~ 5 (I did drink alot of diet ginger ale and tea though!)

    Weight ~ 164 ~ down (the best part of being sick) ~ 2 pts

    Exercise ~ 2 (does running to the bathroom count?)

    In FL with DS and nowhere near a scale so will claim 1 ;pt for maintaining as I've been walking lots and not eating sweets (next week's weighing will tell!)


    Exercise = 12 pts (minimum)

    Extra = 1 pt for not caving to DS (long story; suffice to say no more enabling)

    I keep trying to organise myself to rejoin - I really need to. I'll do my best this week and who knows I might log something on Friday -even if it's only a post to say Hello!! It's great to see the gang here especially my fellow Roadrunners. I have to try and do this - I was so happy when I was quite a few pounds lighter and so much more fit!!!

Good to see you and yes you get an extra point for coming back. patoo, glad to hear NED we love him. / Everything I post here runs together no matter if I type it in paragraphs (probably due to the upgrade here at BCO and the fact that I'm still running on Windows XP which is obsolete) so I'll put slashes where there should be hard returns. /

    Ainm attawoman for two weeks in a row, NM & patoo hope you get to feeling better, Jane we should make you an honorary Roadrunner LOL.  My news this week is that mom, who lives in Florida, has decided she can't live alone anymore, so is selling her house and moving to Wisconsin.  Toured several independent living places and found a really nice one that has the services she wants and is in her budget.  She won't move until spring so we have time to get everything sorted out.  Bittersweet.  ♥ to all

    Badger, I would love to be an honorary Roadrunner. Seems the Rockin' Robins have flown the coop!


    I was at the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston last weekend to see my DS and DD row. LOTS of walking, and I behaved pretty well on the diet. Came home down a couple pounds, so that is all good. My other son called from school having a panic attack while we were gone, so I'm a stressed out mama.

    Zogo - it's a public holiday that always falls on the last Monday of October - which also coincides with Halloween and it's also the weekend we change to Daylight Saving Time The Schools take a mid-term break this week too so the children can really enjoy Halloween!! Happy Halloween!!

    Exercise = 0 (still battling cellulitis so have still been resting since it's in my leg; hope to get back to it next week)


    Extra = 1 pt (6 month MO visit = NED; 10/24 was 5 years survival!)

    Extra Credit = 1 pt (I didn't binge while I was 'home alone', DH was away for 3 days - that's really very good for me AND I kept up my exercise!!

    Quite pleased with my self control while DH was away looking for work - usually I would comfort myself with lots of food and I would probably slack off on the exercise too. I've been using 'myfitnesspal' to motivate myself too. I still haven't had any luck in getting any work myself and the last place never paid the holiday pay which was due to me, but hopefully I'll get it at the end of this month. But this is all a stress and that's one of my triggers!!


    I won a box of chocolates (candies) yesterday!!!!!
