Neen, I didn't know you were at the Aria!!!!!! Holy crap Batman
Did you ask them for "early check in"? When I reserved they offered that, knowing that some flights come in early. If you didn't call and ask for!
Lunch on Thurs ... can't wait
-
G - sounds good to me! I leave at 4 or something on Tuesday. Thanks again for all of your help
Mar - I didn't ask for early check in - I'll call them tomorrow and ask. If worse comes to worse, I'll just have them hold my bag while we go get lunch. Woo hoo! Very excited to meet you
-
So So Very excited....getting closer & closer
12 days sista's till Vegas!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a GRRR-EAT Weekend
Take care Chow GOD BLESS

I have a dilemma. Do I abstain from drinking for 12 days to rest the liver, or double-up on normal to get it primed? Ha! (Those who know me, know that's a no-brainer 😉)
-
I have a couple of questions (I wasn't sure if I should post them here or on the FB site, so I'll try here first
):
1) What do people do re: dinner on Saturday and Sunday? Do you just group up with people? Do reservations need to be made?
2) How long does the sing along go at NY NY?
Thanks a bunch!
-
Neener - you can join a group for dinner as you wish. There are always people joining up for dinner. It is hard to get service at some of the casino restaurants if there are too many in a group. Somehow we have all managed to eat - those that eat - some of us just drink and gamble.
The piano bar closes at either 2 am or 3 am. Those that don't want to stay as late - well they will find a group of people to share a taxi and leave earlier in order to cut down on the taxi cost. You can stay as long as you want - as long as you can still stand up!
-
Vegas Love is alive and kicking in this house! I've set out the clothes and trying to figure out how and if I can make it on the plane with just a carry on. It's not looking good....oh well. Do most of you have to check luggage?
I should probably post this on the nutrition board but thought I would start here. I read the Anti- Cancer book a couple months ago. I also picked up the WHOLE FOOD GUIDE for BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS ; A Nutritional Approach to Preventing Recurrence at Barnes and Noble.
It was an easy read and explained in plain english the reasoning and effect on estrogen load of many foods I had wondered about. It also has a good section on supplements. Just wanted to share with my sisters. -
I personally never check my luggage in...1st trip the vegas airport ripped my new luggage & broke the zipper
! Then I have to carry my nebuizer machine & it's safer to carry it in my big bag to put under...I have trust issues with airports now & have seen to many tossed or fall off as they are loading up other planes....I always get a window seat...air sick & it helps to be by window & take meds
My cloths are all ready & my accessories, I'm gonna be there Tuesday, but hangin with my dear Friend Gregory. He is so sweet-wants me to find the closest hospital near him to be safe....that's not a bad idea, I've got no plans of ending up there, but I didn't plan on it last week either. Then hooking up with the Brat Pack-Jazzy & Clare on Thursday at Aria!!
Jancie is right, we all after our breakfast Saturday.....seem to group up & head in aeras that suits that group on what they were wanting to do...we've got shoppers, gamblers, drinkers, sight see's....we all seem to fit & then hook uo at the Piano bar that nite. As far as Sunday....most are still full from brunch....but again, it always works out!!
G'Nite all Take care CHow GOD BLESS

I always check luggage and have been lucky I guess. Dozens of trips and not once incident (don't hate me universe and decide to change that please!)
I always do aisle seat on a flight over 2 hours. Have LE and need to walk around and stretch out that side, and prefer to not have to climb over people! Flights around 2 hours i take window.
Neeners, I am appointing myself your early bodyguard...you will NOT be alone!!!! Lunch on Thurs somewhere, then Bell for fountain, then back to Aria to welcome Beans
-
Jancie - drink & gamble - YES - I need to tag along with those people.
Susie - How cool that you get to meet up with another friend even before the sisters
I totally forgot about the brunch on Sunday. I'll probably be one of those too full, too.
Mar - Thank you! Can't wait until Thursday!!!
-
Jancie, we start wednesday morning. I can't wait.
-
I Love all we all share & learn new things about each other!!
11days girls....WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Take care Chow GOD BLESS

Cheryl - I can't wait to spend the extra time with you and Mom. Remember we have to do that slow motion run towards one another
Love that we are meeting at Starbucks in the baggage claim area as that is where it all started for us on Year #1 - there is no better way to start the trip than to land at the airport and have Sisters there with you!
10 days for us!!!! Don't forget my sweater and bathing suit!!!
-
Neeners - I know all of the drinkers and gamblers
. Just stick with me and you will do just fine! But......can you stay up until 3 am? There are a "few" of us that do stay up that late. We do watch out for one another so that nobody is left on the gambling floor by themselves so I have been forced up to my room on several ocassions.
-
That's 6AM for me...
Having said that, it depends on how much I'm winning/drinking
. I'll give it the old college try!
-
Hey Jancie - Las Vegas airport now has two terminals so you guys make sure you head for Terminal 1 when you get off the plane cause if you take the train to the wrong one you will never find each other! Happened to Diane and me last year. I had to go outside and get on the shuttle to the other terminal where she ended up. What time do you all get in on Wednesday?
-
Anniese - thanks for the heads up!!!
Cheryl, Mom, and I get in within 15 min of each other on Wednesday morning. My flight gets in at 9:20 am and they get in around 9:35 am. Are ya'll coming in on Wednesday also??? I forget where they are staying the first night.
-
Neeners - if you haven't already figured it out - the party animals keep arriving earlier each year. First we started arriving on Thursday to start the weekend and now some of us come in on Wednesday.
-
Diane and I get in around 3 on Wednesday.
-
Yipppeeeeee!!!! I just looked at my PM's and we are staying at NY NY on Wednesday night and then I am moving to Aria on Thursday. Where are you staying on Wednesday??? You just call and we will find a way to meet up!
Watch out Vegas!!! The party animals are coming in early!
-
We're at Aria all nights. Planning to wander on Wednesday - maybe go check out Mandalay Bay. Will give you a call once we get settled and decide to head out.
-
Sounds great for wednesday ladies.
Jancie I have your suite and sweater ready to pack. Can't wait to see you at the airport.
Hugs
-
Sooo....I get there Sunday night, what does that say about me???
Cannot wait to see you
Hugs

Ummmmm......no comment

Does anyone else get in around 3pm Thursday? Yes, be aware that there are 2 terminals... Linda and I had that problem last year. She was waving her pink boa at the same carousel number I was at but different terminal!! I'm sure she got some interesting looks... ;-)
