THE 5TH TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS BABY!!!

Jancie that's great! I've ordered stuff from cafepress in the past and it's a great site. Good to know. There are also tons of BC t-shirts on amazon if you search there.
-
Hi girls..... I also couldn't find any Bling black t-shirts. I ordered from several places only to have them say they either were out of stock or no longer carrying the Ta Ta shirt with Rhinestones.
You can order the breast cancer Bling transfers though.....there are lots of different options for BC. Search "breast cancer rhinestone transfers." Transfers ran anywhere from $6.00 to $15.00. I ordered one and will put it on a black Danskin t-shirt from Walmart ..... Hope this helps those who can't find a Bling BC shirt and would like to have one for our "special night"!
Can't wait to meet everyone !! -
Flygirl - They have transfers like that at Hobby Lobby and Michaels stores. The problem is that my cousin lives in the sticks and I do mean the sticks so there isn't much around there at all other than trees, bugs, frogs, and fish.
-
Jancie.......I ordered mine off the Internet . We live on the Outer Banks, NC and nearest Michaels, etc. is 1 & 1/2 hours away.
-
I will go to the buffet... but it is too bad the pricing is so high...it does take about half of us out of the equation. ..:(.....that is the part I don't like. It is no ones fault. ..just Sunday brunch Vegas Style.
-
Thank you Laura for doing all this research for us. Appreciated!
-
Good morning sisters....
Please keep looking at the board between today and tomorrow. I am working on another option for the Buffet. Unfortunately with a group like ours due to the size, you have to add reservation fees to anything we do that we want to be guaranteed to stay together. I am hoping I will have updated info sometime later today or tomorrow.
Once again thank you Laura H. and Tkone for all the help.
Hugs...
G.

Regarding the shirts....my original bling shirt from savethetattas is really weird shaped now. It is twisted & short even though I never put it in the dryer - and it was always a little small. I did buy a "badass tata"one from them and wore it last year. This year I have bought a pretty one from Katydid. I like their shirts but if you decide to get one just know that they run small as well and they don't have the best return policy. I'm a medium in most shirts and I wear their large. Anyway here is the link if anyone is interested. I bought the one with roses and rhinestones. (They also have long sleeve which I almost got but figured I would burn up in Vegas.) Shipping is free if you take the slowest method. http://www.katydidcollection.com/cancer-and-autism-shirts/designs/pink-ribbon.html

Ditto Tracey's post!

Below is updated information on Sunday Brunch. It will be at The Wicked Spoon, at the Cosmopolitan hotel. It is a highly rated brunch. Prices are
$42.60 without Champagne
$55.51 with unlimited champagne, mimosas or Bloody Mary's
Those prices reflect tax gratuity and reservation fees
I do not have a contract because we need to make sure we have enough of us interested to attend. The sooner we get the response, the quicker we get a count the sooner we can get a contract signed and the less the chances the prices are going to change.
If you are interested in attending, pm Tkone.
Love ya all.
Cannot wait to see you in Vegas.
Hugs

I'm on the list, #9 with Stephanie and Colleen.
I'll be reserving the cabana at the Aria for Friday all day.
The buffett info changed. I'm still in. I'll be sending paypal this weekend.
-
SheChirple, do we just pay you Friday for the cabana? I'm on your list for that, right? (with my roomie)
Settled up with Tracy for the brunch.
I just love telling friends and coworkers about this - love seeing people's expressions when I tell them! "You're doing whaaatttt???" tee hee
-
MARLEGAL. ....I was wondering the same thing. Hope she will post it soon here or on the FB page. Can't wait to meet you as I'm a newbie too! I haven't told a lot of my friends yet because I just know they will want to go with me for "support". LOL.... Of course, these would be the same ones that kept their distance during the whole freaking scary part!!!
Wow.....I really need that second sup of coffee. I'm being bitchy this morning. Can I say that here?
SheChirple....so appreciate you setting this up! -
Laura - Hair, body and smile have changed - - cell # is the same!!
Cheryl - I will be at Gilley's.
Roomies - Are you all flying back on Monday the 30th or Tuesday the 1st?!?!?
So many exciting things going on career-wise for me right now and Vegas weekend is the ABSOLUTE WORST time for me to be gone and I DON'T CARE!!! Cannot miss this weekend so will work what is left of my a$$ off between now and then to be there will all of you beautiful ladies!!!!

I will be reserving the cabana and, yes, you can just give me a little cash on the spot. I have about 11 people so far, so I think I have to reserve the larger, that holds 10+, is $700. http://www.arialasvegas.com/pools-spa/pools/cabanas
Now, I don't expect anyone to cough up $70. I just hope anough ladies show up and drop $10-20-30 to cover it. We'll have it from 10 am to 5 pm. Not even guaranteed. They let you know on the day reserved if it's available. Kind of weird, but it is why I don't anyone paying me in advance. Just stop by the cabana and join us, even if you just stop in for a few minutes. I plan to hang out all day with an open door.
It comes with stocked refirgerator, 42" LCD tv, wifi, Ipod docking station, mister, chaise lounges, ceiling fans, telephone, pool rafts, dining table. It's like a really nice suite. I'm checking it out when I am in Vegas 2 wks before our trip (yes, I know, life is hard).
Colleen: I am driving back late Monday. So, monday check out is fine for me.
-
SheChirple, I plan to be in there lots with you! I bought two new bathing suits online and really like them both. If any of you are plus size, I found a great online store. Good prices, quick delivery, and good comments by others to guide you size wise. Best of all, both times I bought I was able to find coupons on RetailMeNot that saved me lots of money! OneStopPlus.com. There, that's my public service announcement for the day!
-
Love reading the posts here. ....reminds me of the past Four years. ..

Hi Girls.. I was just recenly diagnosed in april. Had a double and going thru chemo as we speak. I wanted to go back to work part time but my employer said they would prefer I wait until I can full time. Way too much time on my hands.. I live in Michigan and have been trying to find woman to network with going thru this now that we can support each other. I sit a lot and would love to have a bc buddy where we can help each other. Last chemo is sept 30th, makes me feel pretty bad for about 4-5 days. I know this is a journey and I have no choice but to embrace it, just so much to deal with with surgeries, chemo, herceptin and a five year pill. Just need a friend very much

Plans have changed......
I am flying in versus driving so I am not able to bring the coffee pot. Is there someone that is driving that can bring a coffee pot with them???? I know this is last minute for a change in plans but Hubby is going to be in Dallas that week and won't be joining me and doesn't want me to drive 7 hours by myself so he is putting me on a plane this year.
Please......someone.......bring a coffee pot! For those that are going to be joining the coffee room in the mornings it might help out if you can bring a coffee mug with you in your bags. I know in the past someone has brought styrofoam cups and I brought extra ceramic cups last year but I will have weight limits not driving out.
-
Oh and my flight is booked!!!! I am coming in on Wednesday morning and flying back out around 1 pm on Monday. I need my rest Monday morning so planning on staying in the room until we get kicked out
-
Each post makes it so much more real. Just can't wait.
Sorry if I've said that once or twice or fifty times already! -
I can bring the coffee!! I have automatic delivery with our local organic coffee roaster.... I have 2 lbs of fresh Medium Roast ready to pack.
