What the heck - a tropical storm already?! Lay off, Mother Nature.
Hope the rain is long gone by party time on Sunday, Linda.
Well - got through work today. thinking the whole time that I wanted to tell the mgr it isn't working out for me and she should phase me out...I heard her say that another girl asked for more hrs - earlier in the day- and I wanted to offer her mine... I've had a mild headache all day... which is better than a migraine (like I had Saturday...) If I have a headache, it's usually a migraine - but this one isn't- this one is just a stress headache I guess... Well - only 4 hrs tomorrow... 10-2 - only have to get through 2:00...

You can do it Chris!!
-
Thank you TOL for missing me :0
I couldn't get on BCO 2 day ago...last night I started reading here and fell asleep...Deb, I love your avatar and am glad you got into the garden. It's a good place to rediscover beauty, sling mud, talk to yourself, cry....I am still praying that good memories will gently come to you and that you will find peace.
Chris, I feel your pain; I know your pain. I never left. DH is mellow now. Tonight he had a nasty attitude. I didn't feel like cooking so I just left the room and let him figure it out. Anyway, there is never a "good time" to deal with difficult and unpleasant stuff. I hope you will find a path...whether it's now or when the kids are gone...I have never lived alone and never had my own place. I always wonder what it would be like to wake up without stress...just for a day.
Meece, I can't get over what you did after/during BC. You are proof that you can't just wait around for the right time...you have to do what your heart tells you. So glad you have found your comfort zone.Diane, congratulations on Hollie's arrival. I am so glad to hear the good news! It's the only time I love pink. I'll check FB tomorrow...I am sooooo happy you got the official invite. [I'll bet now they see the value in having you there for big sis]...I hope the days go fast for you.
Sheila, counting the days...you must be so excited to have your family together again!Granny, of course we'll work it out! I'm free as you know, and we'll find a way and a day! Anyone want to join us? We are centrally located around New York area.
Linda, congrats on the graduation. Celebrate 'til the cows come home!!
Cmb, what a story....I think we can write a screenplay for a Lifetime movie...so glad you emerged a whole person and strong enough to deal with BC and more.
Val, hugs back to you! How are things in MI? Any family visits planned?
nite all,
Joan

MMMMM a milk shake sounds yummy. Our friends invited us to their house tomorrow. When they made the invitation a couple of weeks ago, they suggested we hang out around the pool. Well, the temp is forecast to be 108° tomorrow. I don't think I want to hang out anywhere outdoors, and you most likely wont get me in a swimsuit in front of anyone other than DH. What to do, what to do???
