Went to my nephews graduation, had a nice time, still thinking of my DH but I have to go on. Back to work Monday.
-
Deb, cute photo...you look great. I hope you are finding that peace deep within.
Am babysitting the grandkids (5,2) tomorrow. That means off to bed now....I will be alone with them overnight and it will be a challenge!
Joan -
Congrats to your nephew, Deb. (((((HUGS)))))
Good luck with the little ones, Joan!
Hope you got your milkshake, Sandy.
I have about 35 lbs to donate if anyone still needs any -
Survived the week - sort of. Now I'm stressing that I should have called a manager for a cash pick up. we had more cash than usual in the register...meant to ask - forgot - they probably were mad when they processed the register tonight... wonder if I'll get it on Monday... so tired of screwing up. And now they want to give me even MORE hrs - I suggested that maybe the other new girl could have them...
I wonder how much rain this will end up being.
(((((TOL)))))

Deb ~ That is a wonderful picture! Congrats to your nephew & ((hugs)) to you.
Joan ~ I get to see my grandkids (ages 6 & almost 5) tomorrow evening. They are driving down tomorrow (7 hr drive) to stay the night while they drop off the cat for me to watch while they fly down to Disney World for 10 days. A very short visit. I will spend more time with them when we go north next month.

im 23.0...normal....for maybe someone who is 18 yrs old but at my age i consider myself underweight.
-
hey it's been a quiet day on TOL...
The way I figure my BMI is just look in the mirror...Well, the grandkids went to bed. We had a good day, hectic, but we made it. They belong to a pool club so I took the girls...they didn't want to swim so we used the free bowling alley, played air hockey, did the playground, then had dinner there. It kept them busy and tired them out. Younger protested at bed but she was wiped. I just stayed in her room until she fell asleep...(after 2 stories and 4 songs).
Older did my nails in 3 bright colors. I cleaned up a disaster from the day...now realize younger will be up before 7 and I had better sleep.I hope everyone is doing OK. PK Granny, are we getting a photo soon? Sheila, it was a nice evening. I hope you enjoyed the chocolate.
Chris, please stop worrying...it's not worth it to stress during your time off!Val, enjoy the kids ... soon you will get to spend time. It was fun for me, though exhausting.
Tomorrow is the older girl's ballet recital. I forgot my camera at home; brought an empty case.
Am kind of depressed because this is DD who plans to move to Boston suburb...she had her final job interview last Thursday...waiting for offer. I can't imagine them not being here; and not spending summers on L.I. any more. So many memories... I gotta stop TOL...
Hugs -
Joan.....fun time.....I know what your saying.....I took care of ( and will agin once school ends), 2 of my grandchildren while my daughter works for the past 14 years....plus 16 of the 18 live 20 minutes from me.......2 live in Chicago, and I miss them so much......they moved there for work after college, the are brothers......That was my famous plane ride for the one who just got married.......(I'm sure everyone remembers that fiasco).........ok, I am rambling now..
Well anyway I know what you mean about your daughter moving..all my kids live close by.....not that I see them all the time......some I see regularly, some less often, and 1 almost never.........but they are near...
Should I pray she doesn't like the offer.........just being funny........hugs -

How is everyone? I am wishing I had a DQ nearby. Perhaps Texas does not believe in them! Hoping to return home to PA sooooon where everything in just hunky dory with my blessed Mom and Dad! They have a DQ on every corner and you can tell because everyone is over weight. Not judging, just sayin!
CB
-
lol there are 4 of them not close to me, 1 is open all year round that is the one by ducky....
-
Good almost afternoon, Blondie.....know right where it is....actually too close. My daughter lives up the street right off of State Rd. in Springfield, and goes there often (although my granddaughter likes to make her own ice cream with the machine I bought her)......, but also loves DQ....she likes everything they have....now grandson...he just gets vanilla soft serve....demands little....she on the other hand asks for much......told my daughter, "you better get her unappreciative ass in line now, or pay the price later.....however she is a thoughtful little girl, especially with me and my illness, but we are like water and oil....lol......hope you get your DQ today....
CB, where are you from in Pa......
Raining again here in the Philly suburbs....way too much rain......kids will be playing baseball in the winter at this rate....loads of makeup games...even if the sun comes out the fields are a mess.....granddaughter plays softball.....( excellent player if I must say so).........that is how she gets so many trips to DQ...lol
Everyone have a great day..... -
I go to the one by the high school, the one on sproul road, they have no idea on how to make a choc. chip milkshake and it shouldn't be that difficult.....ice cream, milk and the stuff that they dip the ice cream cones in....asked if I could buy it they told me no, is owned by DQ....
hate not having a car....
sick of the rain, but am not going out...
Oh yea, the person that my daughter married is sort of related to a guy who is on the front of the paper, found out his ex was seeing someone else, killed her and then shot himself, leaving a 6 year old little girlll..guns do killl....he told the person she married that he was going to do it and either didn't try to talk him out of it or didn't try hard enough he says and now they are all dead....and they live up the street from me.....people are nuts, and there are people worse off then me....
BBL
-
Blondie...thought of you when I saw that on TV, and wondered if it was near you..wow, horrible, guess no one thought about the little girl.......very sad......
-
So sad Sandy.
Graduation went well, pics on FB. I need a nap!

Ms. Ducky,
I am from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton are of PA. Grew up in the suburbs of Wilkes-Barre in an area called the Back Mountain of NE Pennsylvania. Graduated from Dallas High School but spent plenty of time in Philly because I am so tall and needed to shop in the better stores like Strawbridge and Clothier and LOVED the King of Prussia Mall! I plan on returning "home" as soon this whole radiation mess is over and I can shove as much as possible in my Jetta, take my fat little pug, Broadway Rudy Giuliani and get the heck outta Texas! Maybe I will see you sometime! PEACE!
FLOWERS
-
Flowers......hope you and Broadway get back soon.....hugs
-
Linda saw the pix how exciting.
Nope Ducky Jamie was over here today, she didn't go to work and neither did the person she married, he has 1 child but lived in a house with 3 others whose father overdosed about 4 years ago and he has been helping raising them, they are all going to be more screwed up now and yep I live on school lane in the 800 block!!
Flowers can't wait til you get here, we can meet with Ducky!!

Hey Blondie sounds like a plan.....
