Thanks everyone - really, really missing her - plus a few pics on FB of our new little one is making me sad - didn't know I would feel so badly. If I have to read one more "she totally looks "her" side of the family" one more time..... What the heck difference does it make.
Sorry for whining - I'll be better soon.

checking in @ chemo no rain yet, tomorrow
-
Almost good afternoon - lovely day here so far but rains are coming. Off for a haircut and to meet an old friend for lunch. Why don't I just look forward to seeing her after a long time instead of stressing about what to wear and how old I look?
New baby spent night in ER at Children's for frequent and powerful vomiting - diagnosis = overfeeding. She got that from me for sure
-
Sunny and windy...no rain until tomorrow
(((TOL)))
-
Enjoy your lunch, hope the babe is feeling better.
Good luck today Sandy, and tomorrow too. Hope you sleep tonight. DQ will help.
I hate the copays too. I just quit PT because the copays are 40. pervisit and so far I've gone 15 times. Ouch!
Same here Sheila.
Go Bruins!

I'm glad the baby is ok - I did have to chuckle though - I had a similar experience - maybe not as severe -but DD started spewing when she was about 3 weeks old - got so I was afraid of her (I'm a vomit phobe). After the first week, she had gained weight past her birth weight so that was good - then the 2nd week she gained ony 1 oz, so then I was on probation - so I tried to feed her more. Then the 3rd week, she had gained 14 oz - they said - what are you feeding her? I'm like - you told me to feed her more! That's when she started spewing - becuse I was feeding her too much, I guess. Funny now - not funny then.
Gotta take DS for a haircut - he's been growin out his hair - it's way too long. he's had a crewcut for yrs - grew it out last summer then for school pic had a trim - lady cut too much off so it ended up looking like a long crewcut - he wasn't happy - and hasn't had it cut since - now it's time. Wish us luck...

I totally get it Chris. Have you seen my sons pics on FB. Haircuts are not for him!!
-
Linda, congrats on the graduation - saw pix and your beautiful family. His hair looks great
Chris, how about before/after pix of DS? Your baby story is oh too familiar. I counseled new moms for 25 years and it amazed me at how a pediatrician could look at a kid for 5 minutes and mess things up so much...
Diane, sorry Hollie had to go to ER. I hope they can resettle in. I am sure you are counting the days until you see your precious little girls. I know what you mean about stressing over appearances...I spent hours deciding what to wear to my grandaughter's preschool graduation...[had to make up for looking totaly frumpy Sunday for her ballet recital]. And, of course, nobody's really looking at how I look. Anyway, you look great. I hope you had a good time.
(((Sandy))) I hope you are able to sleep and that you have a week with few SEs...thinking of you always.(((Sheila))) I'm finally watching back on this week's the Voice...it's keeping me up now.
-
Ms. raincitygirl - Prayers for you and that dear baby. Peace, Love, Prayers and Blessings too to ALL of my fellow Sister Warriors.
-
Diane sorry about the baby keep up updated.
Hey, am up, steroids kicked in and yep slept yesterday, no DQ yet went but they were closed...been up since 6 and already took a zofran for nausea, got zometa also, bones really hurt yesterday....came home ate white pizza how can you have cravings when you can't smell or taste, lol
George finally got his haircut after over a year, why do people care about other peoples hair...oh and he shaved his head with a 1 omg, hate it...loved his hair long it so was him.....

Crud! This thread jumped off my favorites, and I have only jad time to check on may active favorites threads. This morning I'm thinking that it is not like this thread to be inactive for four days....
Grrr. I want to read the last two pages, but I wanted to check in since I have to get ready for work soon. I read enough to see Chabba and Granny want some extras pounds, I have 25 here for anyone who wants them.
My DH's former boss has temporarily hired me to help his department with preparing for an audit. I am happy I am getting some summer work, but it might delay my trip to Patch and Lala. I carpool with my DH and my Boss, so I spend around 11 hours a day away from the house, which cuts down on my computer time.
-
I hate when that happens!
We're 'friends' now Joan!!
-
have fun Meece!!
-
Diane how is baby Hollie feeling today/
Meece...good luck with your job
It's raining zebras and elephants here
(((TOL)))
I feel very overwhelmed today
Sandy...Macy's One Day Sale starts tomorrow
-
I just checked - baby is doing very well. Yesterday's lunch went fine but when I got home, I realized I had probably eaten twice as much dim sum as my friend which is why she looked great
We have rain too! But not like you are getting.
Hope everyone is feeling well today
-
Rain is ridiculous here.....more on the way.....ugh
-
Now I ask, "How R they going to play the U.S. Open with all that rain????? Should the Big Boys put on their scuba gear or what? I will be upset if it is cancelled. Love watching golf especially from (almost) home.
-
Raining cats and dogs here too. Good luck with the golf!!
-
Bummer!
