Chicakadee, praying for boring scans and that chemo kicks the shit out of the little bastards!
-
Chickadee - you are in our thoughts and hearts sweetie - I hate BC big time.

((((((CHICKADEE))))))
Just checked in from my vigil at the hospital and saw Chickadee's news. Chickadee, sending thoughts of strength and many years of boredom in your direction.
-
'Morning, all!

Morning play, while we wait for promised snow.

(and to get breakast).
-
(((((Alexandria))))) ... sending peaceful thoughts in your direction for a calm, painfree day for your MIL.

Chickadee, so sorry about the bad news. I will give a prayer that your brain turns out to be really boring

-
I'd like to join the chorus hoping for smooth times for Chickadee.
-
This is a difficult part of the year for Chickadees but good times are just around the corner. You are in my thoughts.
-
A little something everyone could use right now:

The chickadees in our giant spruce tree are shouting out ""Good luck today -dee dee dee"! All digits crossed for boring news for our Texas chick!
-
Chickadee~I don't know how you feel about prayer, but I want you to know, you're in mine.
My heart breaks to know you are dealing with this on top of everything else you've been through.
Be blessed

Oh, damn - I'd get banned if I wrote all the words I'm thinking -
@{{{{{{{chickadee}}}}}}} - ditto what everyone said, and making sure you know there is a Gang of Women hugging you and thinking powerfullly GOOD thoughts, and still cursing this @#!@$^%$# disease - the good news is it sounds like you have a good team working with you, doing all you can do - still hurts so much to know you're in a such difficult time.
Looking at your tag line - jeez, IDC 1cm, how can this buggerlybitchybooger disease cause so much trouble from such a wimpy beginning - I'll never figure it out, just SUCH a crap shoot, sorry, but that's what it feels like. Certainly no "rhyme, nor reason" - and what can we doooooo about it - still on "bad" Arimidex days it felt like putting one foot in front of the other to get myself out of bed, (and I'm almost 6 years out, early stage but "aggressive") was an accomplishment. Don't think there's been a day I haven't "thought" about it.
SO, back to {{{{chickadee}}}} - time to get out our magic wands, prayer rugs, lucky pocket charms, and really FOCUS on YOU - doing all you can do to kick those little boogers OUT! Please also think of yourself as a baby chickadee , no feathers, but a long time ahead to grown them, glossy, shiny, and flying HIGH for many a long time...more hugs...( and bad words to the little boogers!) GET OUT OF OUR CHICKADEE!!!!

A few tropical pix to brighten your day:
The coast of Tobago
Sunrise in the hills of Trinidad
Sea turtle being released back into the wild.
Garden of our guesthouse in Port of Spain. (Edited to add a resounding "hear, hear" to Sunflower's post.)

Chickadee, sending hugs and vibes for a boring head CT out to you. I'm sorry you have to deal with additional treatment for this fricking disease.
Linda, beautiful pics.

Sending a big (((hug))) out to Chickadee. Hope the new treatment goes easy on you.
Beautiful vacation pictures Suzie and lewing. They are a sight for sore eyes ... we've been looking at gray, drizzly and gloomy for too long here.
Looks like many are going to be getting another round of snow. Us too, but not a crazy amount. Ready for Spring!
Edited because 'read' for spring didn't make much sense
-
Lovely pics, Lewing.
Also, joining in the vigil for Sandy's MIL.

-
OMG!

-
For some reason, my mind is very dirty today, so I will say nothing.

-
Sometimes it turns out that things are even worse than you thought they were.

Love the pics Lewing.
I just booked flights and hotel for our next trip in 2 months - little Nicholas (gs) will be one on 4th May, so we are going to Sth Australia for a long weekend. Cost as much as it cost to fly to NZ!!! I got the same place we stayed in last time which was close to good restaurants and I pay $30 less per day due to a discount through my work social club and it's a lovely hotel.
More hugs for Chickadee

Late breaking news: Hugo Chavez is dead.
-
Yes, I saw that. Good coverage by the NYT. Fortunately foreign reporting is still unscathed by the advert of the any-idiot-can-make-it-up news blogosphere.
We've been promised a snow storm here (as has much of the rest of the region) - it is being called a "snowquester." Will believe it when I see it.
-
I THINK our snow may be over for the year. So ready for Spring!
