Dork --CHRISTINE, does it play the old musac????
OK I don't rememer anything I read, well some and
BERNIE I love Calva's picture in the snow--
And I always love Cliff and George'
And I did u get my HS chanpionship diving picture.? I haven't seen that in yrs. I can't swim a strok, but I can sure as hell dive.
And how are all the DH doing? every one seems sick.
Oh OH I saw a 3D nipple Kat sent it to me--not hers---wow it looked so real, better than mine ever looked plus so nice abd sturdy. Good whoever has them.
Sue don't overdo, it took 3 months before she felt decent so be patient.
Lori, is u'r westher good now, we are acutally warming up but we did have snow, just a couple of inc. That's fine for snow, but not for all things.
I haven't been in the lounge to much this week I've been taking some xanax, a little anxious this week---I'm usually not.
OK now I have to really catch up on u gals in slow motion, I just perused quickly---how's de woids
So I'll be back with more of mu special words later.

Anyone here for Pau Hana? Jest got home....long day watching the kids (who are sooooo good) while DD went early for entire visitation, and funeral service...stayed till no one was left at the church. It just makes me tired being at someone else's house all day. AND I did give her hugs from everyone! They even had security at the church so no probs, and no media probs.
OK....mese weady for a BIG dwinkie....or several....! Lotsa good shows on tonite...2 hr Bachelor, Smash, and Dorkie sed dere is a Betty White specual, so need to twy to check ebberytin out.

Suck 'Em Up.....de dwinks iz piling UP....
Kat, Mom of M&M's
-
Kat I hope u'r resting tonite--I'm glad they were good (I bet they always are) but I'm sure u'r dgtr had a very stressfull day (as u too) I'm so sorry.
I', all screwed up The kids got my "drink" that white chit for my test and I was reading the papers and I wrote down --all these dates and times for tests--but didn't write which test is which and I don't even hae the 7th written down for anything. I already cancelled my date for lunch tomorrow cuz I can't and ate like a pig today now I have to call the Dr. office and see when I'm scheduled like I did last time. I would think by now I'd have some type of system. My SIL was hysterical, picturing me drinking all that stuff if I didn't have the test the next day. OOOO
Then my baby had my computer for a while and I asked hime what are u doing with it? and he told me he was watching a movie. A MOVIE. Then he showed me this thing on the side that come out ao u put this round thingy in there--viola a movie. No one ever told me that.
My Katie was trying to make up with me this afternoon so I finally did, then she acted like a real cat and sat by my feet with her back to me and even when I called her name wouldn't look at me.
Oh I was tlking to my sister and maybe u gals don't hae this but if we have short sleeves on and wave gooddbye to anyone our underarm is also waving goobye--si we should get tattoos on the wave arm of (drum roll, please) the American Flag waving then no one will really be looking at the fat just the flag. Oh and both of our arms are numb there soooo we won't even feel it. What an idea--2 old ladies with tats and it would be 3d when we're waving.
See what an exciting day I had today, Actually it's good, I'm happy.
-
OMG, you have me ROFLMAO Cami!! Waving the American Flag when you wave your arms, so the flag would wave too!!! Cute idea though, but I personally try to get attention AWAY from my bat wings.....lol. Saw lots of pics my PS and the other PS's there have done, and one thing is cutting out that fat on the arms...but then you get a "seam" (long scar). Sure looks good though! NOOOOO Cami, don't tell us ya didn't know you had a CD/DVD drive in your laptop!!! You silly gurl! Well, if it makes you feel any better, my new laptop was here when we got home on Sunday, and I opened it all, and charged it....and thats as far as I have gotten. I wanted to have enuf time when I get it started, and I was toooo tired on Monday. LOL....just don't want to be too tired and set up something wrong. It's pretty though, and nice and thinner. and just 14", so not as ez to travel with as my netbook, but lighter than our full sz laptop.
Hope you find out if you have an appt tomorrow, and when you need to drink that white chit. Yucko.
Good luck to our Dotty, for her appt with the new PS tamarra.....hope you really like him and he is convinced he can fix u up bettah den new!!!
Soooooo empty here in the lounge, I heard an echo when I called for Pants...it sounded like.... "PANTS!".....Pants, pants, pants......! But he showed up ASAP, with a tall Seagrams/Diet Coke in hand. But he "came" so fast (lol) that he didn't have time to get dressed....OOPS!
Have a sweet dreams kinda night, girls!

Good morning, Loungettes! I'm having a personal energy crisis this week. Just so tired all the time, not sure why. Need more coffee, I guess.
DorKable--ah, a nice wake up call, what a nice way to start the day! Aha, the trash can attacked the car, that explains things! Can you get rubber bumpers for your car? And just bounce things around with it?
Juliet--I love water parks, but not when it's cold! I also am good at holding bags while people go on crazy dangerous rides. I always say someone has to stay on the ground to identify the bodies when the ride is over.
Goldie--good advice to CynCyn to research things before taking them. I personally don't mind having less snow in the winter, but it makes it hard for the parts of the state that depend on snow for winter tourist trade. No snow means no snowmobilers, no cross country skiers, no snowshoers. Ice fishing derbies have been cancelled due to lack of safe ice, that tends to come along with no snow. In some places the snow melt is important to keep wells running, too.
BBBBernie--cute snow dogs!
Whahine--Gottta love regional terminology! I am so glad you got your nipple taps and are happy with them. I certainly understand how a woman can want nipples, either from skin origami (as my PS called it) or tatts, and encourage them to go for it. For me, it's just not worth any potential pain or discomfort. We are indeed lucky to have the choices we do, and the ability to make personal decisions and have them honored.
Has anyone else had to smother a giggle because of a term used in conversation that has a whole different meaning to you now? When I'm in public I have to be careful not to look at the breast area of the person I'm talking to whenever she mentions "girls". I actually had to explain to one friend (a very close one, fortunately) that I'm not being crude if I look at her breasts when she talks about her daughters.
ORLA--what is up with the back spasms? I've got a backache too, had it since Sunday. Not sure what I did to it, either. But it's getting better with heat and stretching. Hope yours goes away soonliest!
Mema--have fun in Vegas! Spend a quarter in a penny slot machine for me.
Cammy--is there anything in particular triggering your anxiety this week? Or is it just one of those things? Good for you for taking the xanax, that's my favorite rescue medication, too!
Wahine---your DD is a very good friend to do what she did for the family. And you are just as wonderful to watch her little ones so she could do it, too. Glad there were no problems of any kind. Burying a loved one is difficult enough without added drama.
Oh, my, Cammy, the flag tats on the underarms is such a good idea! What fun that would be! And in 3D!

Good Morning Ladies--It's a little chilly out here. bit all right. And I know NM no snow or rain sounds good butwe need it in this are too. For some sports, crops etc. So altho it's knida nice it's well needed.
Bernie I love the pic. I'm staring at it thinking OMG I'm looking at these beautiful digs in Ireland. (still amazes me)
Julie I'll know today about my tests. OY
I hope everyone starts the day good, then the whole day will stay like that..
-
Looks like your fur babies are enjoying that snow Bernie.
LOL, we knew your car would get smashed Sunday, Sue! Joey actually answered the phone when I called, and I guess he took the phone into his bedroom to talk to me. Cuz Cami was saying that she didn’t know what he was saying. I assured her he was nothing less than polite and a little gentleman.
Cami, our weather here isn’t bad. Still below freezing at night, day time temps ranging from the 40’s into the 60’s and SUNNY, so not too bad. OH NO, drinking that stuff is bad enough, but to drink it when you didn’t have to, would be terrible. Oh too funny that you didn’t know you could watch DVD’s on your puter. Love your flag idea, you are a riot!
Lara, that is nice that your DH is letting you stay with him and he is caring for you. Any chance of getting back together?
Kathy, glad to hear that the media stayed away, continued prayers for the family and your DD and your g’kids. Hope you had fun with them. Did they seem to be affected by it? Is your new laptop Windows 8?
Julie, great idea for the bullies to go to the funeral, but I doubt the parents would want them there. Would be interesting to see or hear their thoughts. I hope they are in remorse. Sounds like you and ALL of the GirLS are having fun and making the most of your time.
LOL NM, someone to stay on the ground to indentify the bodies….LOL! Yeah, I understand about the snow and cold earning revenue. Same goes here too, for the skiing in the mountains and then of course the melt, as we don’t get much rain here.
Cami, I believe your “procedure” is tomorrow, yes? We can load up on the UFO and the Bus, and come regardless.
And Dorty see’s her new PS today??? Hope things are continuing to go well with your mom.
Cyn, you should be home now. I know you were sad to leave TX and D, but I bet you got some nice wet sloppy puppy kisses when you got home.
I got in trouble this morning when I got up. I guess I didn’t close the front door all the way when I came in last night, and when DH got up, front door was WIDE open! Sure hope no critters got in YIKES!
-
YIKES.....you sure WERE lucky no critters came inside to get warm, Lori! I actually paid MORE for my new laptop because I didn't want Windows 8, and this one has Win 7...yay! Just didn't have time to learn a new OS, and wanted something I am familiar with. I guess today I need to turn it on and see what I want to add to it b4 our trip on Friday. SHOULD have time at home today, at least so far....day is just beginning though!
NM, cute DOTD....yuppers we forever have a diff idea when someone mentions "the girls"....LOL. WHen I had my tatts done initially, they were still numb, so no pain whatsoever. When I had them touched up in Oct, there was some pain, but not much as they still are mostly numb. I think it hurt for 2 hrs after, (when whatever she numbed it with wore off), then was ok. But YES, I think its great we can all make the decisions which fit us the best! My PS called it "origami" also! He said they usually flatten (when people don't want them to), but I figured since I would have wanted them flat, mine would have stayed as headlights, and I didn't want that, so didn't go that route. Apparently there is a lady that does the 3D tatts here, and the perm eyeliner too. But since I trust Earleen so much, she is the only one I want that close to my eyes with a needle! Weird though, as I can't wear eye makeup now( had to stop 1 wk b4 perm eyeliner), and then after I have it done on the 12th, it will be tooooo dark at first, then will scab up too, so I will look totally WEIRD for awhile. Better get some really dark sunglasses!
Hugs to you ALL....I need some more coffee to wake up. Hunk! Wow, that was fast! Will have "The Girls" dwink after I wake up! OH, on GMA they just said that if you drink diet drinks with alcohol (which I do), then you get drunk quicker....seems they found out the sugar in regular soft drinks helps slow down the effects of the alcohol. Hmmmm....who would want to dwink and NOT get dwunk quickliest???? LOL.
Kath

Lori u'r so lucky nothing came in I'd be screaming my head off (not literally, figuritly) OMG what a crazy thing to do. LOL--Well at least u don't live in a big city.
OK I said I'm all screwed up Lori u were right all along--my test is the 18th, u said that to me on the phone and I corrected u. It's not tomorrow. OMG I've got to get this together. So I'm having my coffee now, cuz I just found out. and my pain pills too hahaha
Kat I'm laughing u find out more facts about drinking and some odd things than most people do. U'r new computer, do u set it up u'rself, alone? U gals are so smart--I need to have my computer cleared of errors they remind me all the time and I think they make personally cuz as soon as something goes awry they're right there. But this month when I get paid I'll do it cuz they are driving me crazy--Is norton good? And when they come on I just ok it and they clean it up and it's all right for a while--see I don't know what they're cleaning bit obviously it needs to be done.
Orange I really like that u'r DH is having u stay there--he must be pretty nice-not interfering just saying how nice he is.
Iknow I couldn't stay with my Mom long she didn't allow me to smoke (sister too) we were in our 50's and couldn't smoke in front of her, or in her house--my brothers could and my dad. We could smoke in front of my Dad but not my mom so at wedding and stuff my sister and I would hide on the other side of the room and smoke. We could all smoke in front of my aunt, but not my mom--non of the girls. not bcause it was bad for u, she thought it made us look LOOSE.If she only knew. LOL But that was the only reason.
OK I'll TTYL everyone.
I lub u alllll so berry berry much.
-
yes he is very nice cammi
never know goldie with him we have been tgther for 7 years and played tgther as kids we found out later
in pain tdy feel tight laying around in my jams nothing on tv blah

Cami. They are so easy to set up nowadays. BUT I am making the recovery dvd's (used to come WITH computers, but not so much anymore)...and it has taken an hr already, and only half way thru! I usually get my internet security when they go on sale at the computer stores (Staples, etc) when they have rebates. But yes, Norton is very good. I never click on something to "fix" problems....never know when it may be something that will harm your computer. Just click on things you KNOW(like a security that came with your computer, or you installed), and you can run your own disc cleanups and defrag....have your DD show you, or someone else there that might know about computers. If no one there, I can pm you through it. OK? Just don't want anything infecting your computer!!!
OH and I finally also made the recovery discs for my desktop computer I got a few months ago....OOPS!! But better late than never!!!!
Have a good day, girls!
-
Well, I haven’t seen any critters Kathy! A little mouse would run and hide and stay hidden til night time! I hope nothing got in! Glad you got Windows 7, I really dislike 8 A LOT!!!! And now we know there IS something good about diet soda. I’m with you, who wouldn’t want to get drunk the quickliest. I DO, I DO!
Cami, if you ever have to get a new computer, DON’T get Windows 8, we would never see you! I’m concerned with what types of things you are downloading and let run on your computer. Just because it pops up, doesn’ t mean you have to run it. In fact, it could be something bad….just saying. Now about these tests, ARE YOU SURE?????? You can get free anti virus software too. I used it for years, it’s called Avast. We still use it, but have the paid version now. I see Kathy has reiterated what I said about clicking on things.
Lara, take care, it’s gonna get better girl!
-
Omg nor easter a foot of snow this weekend
-
Yikes Lara!!!
NM, Looks like a LOT of snow may be headed your way....
-
Thanks Lori my comp is like 2 yrs old and I have windows 7 I did have Norton before so it was fine I thought and I try not to let a lot of stuff in, if I have to add something to see something I don't. I don't know if that's what u mean but that's what to do.
What's the new thing about snow business? I didn't see it.
-
So far I DO NOT like my new computer...cannot get the touch thing to work right, I miss having a touch area AND something to click on. So might take my broken netbook on our trip, till I can get used to the new one. Also having trouble getting it on the network for sharing printer, etc., since it has McAfee and the other one doesn't. Dang, this will take awhile!
I heard from 12-24" of snow from Boston area, up thru Maine, etc. And lesser snow amounts south of Boston. Haven't had the news on again, but you might be able to find an update, Cami.
Gotta go......will check in with you gals later....
Laters Baby!

-
good morning all,off to the magic kingdom today, we went shopping yesterday as it was cloudy with a chnce of rain and i want beth to see everything at kennedy.
-
Good morning, Loungettes! I think I spoke too soon about no snow. The current predictions for the "blizzard" expected in tomorrow and Saturday is 12 to 40 inches. I guess well get the whole winter's worth at once.
Goldie--good point about the bullies at the funeral. Maybe a second service especially for the bullies? No, then they wouldn't see the grief they caused the family and friends. The do need to be held accountable, somehow. Yikes, hope no critters got in! Oh, phew, none did get in. That's good. I got turned off by the origami nipples when the PS said it was done in the office. All I could think of was surgery without any anesthesia, and I just freaked out. Since then I have found out that the procedure is not painful after a DIEP since there is no feeling in the breast flaps, but by then I had gotten to like going braless and not having to worry about headlights showing. Funny, I still FEEL like the nips are standing up sometimes! I really don't miss the nips. I may change my mind if I ever find myself in a romantic type relationship, but until then, I'm happy! I'm glad you're happy with your nipple tats!
Cammy--oh, boy, I can relate to not keeping appointment straight. If it weren't for calendars with reminders I would be sunk. Funny the ideas that mothers get, isn't it?
Wahine--those recovery discs are lifesavers sometimes. I wish they came with the computers more often, like they used to. I use free antivirus software and run it daily, seems to keep my computer pretty healthy. Or maybe I'm just lucky?
Goldie--good advice about clicking on things. My mom does that all the time and my brother or I have to go into her laptop and clear out all the junk she gets every so often. When she starts complaining that she needs a new computer 'cause hers is slowing down or doing funky stuff it's time to clean out the junk again. We're still, years later, trying to get her to READ the pop-up boxes before checking things. Avast is a good antivirus program, I've used it before.
ORLA--Yup, snow this weekend! And wind and cold and lots of fun!
BBBBernie--LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Juliet--YUM! Enjoy the Magic Kingdom!

Oh wow, I saw that about the snow accumulations in ME too Kathy. But we know NM is prepared!
Anyone else suppose to get dumped on?
Bummer about the puter Kathy, I just wish they would leave things alone!!!! Why do they always have to change chit.
Cute cartoon about the puter B.
Julie, have another fine day with the “girls”……lol.
NM, I ‘m not sure if any got in, I haven’t seen any tho. You are right on about the pop ups. And they usually make it sound like you really should do this.
Pretty quiet in here, gheesh. Well, we are off to see the accountant and then DH to the doctor. Hope everyone stays safe and warm. Looks like a cuddle alert!
-
Good Morning my wonderful ladies.
Bernie that is so funny to me--it's so true LOL
And Julie thanks for the eye-candy--I lilke to think of that as a lollipop (won't say the other word) but that's what I mean--I never see this in real life--but I've got an imagination that's bizarre.
On NM we missed that storm it came over us so u might be geting all of it--but u know how to get ready. That's alot of snow. We haven't had snow like that in yrs. They always say Lake Michigan saves us from lot of stormy weather and snow.
U ga. Anyway altho she teaches it to new people she thinks ls do alot on a computer so U back it up? I never have nor do I know how to back it up and I wouldn't know what to back up mine just just like 3 topics==FB-Emails and this. When I worked our comp. was all in-house Just for the state--of course I could find anyone I wanted in the state of Ill and their records of being arrested and all the fun stuff and we could enail just state offices-no disc or back up I guess they had them--but we could never get to the internet. So for all those years that's what I was used to and I did not have a compter, but my DD had one and I'd use hers (she taught me stuff) and I would pay bills on-line and order things on line which I learned, at that time she showed me one time and I learned some stuff--she has since tried to show me things and I don't understand as easily.
So I'm all techy behind, plus I have a big behind too. So the word behind has different meanings to me.
I think next Wed. is LENT already--it's so soon--But I see things advertisd for Fat Tuesday--yea right everyd Tuesday is fat Tuesday for me. So Easter will be here soon. So I'll fast on Wed. already and no meat on Fridays. but I'll forget so it doesn't matter.
-
Morning girls! Got back from Vegas late last night. Did read a few emails but that was it...lights out. Den could not get up this morning to see DH off to work. I think I tail you all before...I Do Not sleep well anywhere else but home. Anyway, DH had a nice day, got to see gd Maddy and gs Andrew Michael. Gotta share this story. I was sitting next to Maddy and she was 'instructing' me how to color. Serioiusly, not quite 4 and so bossy! So she had her page, I had mine. She gave me the colors I wud use, then...she jumps over to my page and colors in a BIG spot with her Pink crayon over what I had just colored and says triumphantly 'BOOYAAA'! I fell out...LMAO. Her dad sez...I think she gets that from me. Ya Think?! PF Changs was excellent as usual...but had another LMAO (in silent tho) when waiter introduced himself as Jose. In a chinese restaurant?!?! O well...he was a good guy!
Yesterday my SIL retired after 28.5 years. Sheriff was there to present his 'retired Metro' badge and stuff. Lots of people...I recognized only my DD's friends, DH recognized a few, but mostly they recognized him. Say, "You were my 1st LT in vice, or field training, etc". SIL, Kevin, got pretty emotional saying his goodbyes...these people have been his 2nd family for all his adult life...it is hard and I can relate. Anyway, my pooches are filthy filthy filthy, the blacktop in the pk lots jes crawls right up their legs to their bellies...UGH.
Sounds like it's been computer nightmare for a few of you. Lori is our 'go to' person, well mine anyway. I will have to say tho that when I had a computer repair guy come out to my house. He un-installed Norton, said Avast was better, but without SPYBOT (free download) the malware can still get ya. So now I have AVG and Spybot. I trust this guy, as he writes for the local paper too. He knows his chit and takes time to splain it too. Not like the young kids that jes 'runaway' with doing this/that and you got no idea what they doing. OH, the AVG is free too.
Julie - have fun today...n tanks fer da eyecandy!
NM - stay warm today. You had me cwacking up about the nip tats...I no like needles either. But really cwacked up over da 'ol headlight' comment...LOL.
Lori - OMG...u didn't tail me bout dat...and I bet u talking about critters bigger den da meese right? Am I gonna hab to check under mese bed the whole time at da Shady Lady? j/k And woo hoo....it's coming up.
Cami - u cwack me up about fasting on Weds and fish on Fri and then never mind cuz u forget anyway...LOL. Me too. So I don't worry bout it either.
Forgib me for missing anyone...but am walking and have sev appts later too. It's ThirstDey too..so may hab to go show off my new fake nails at the bar later...heehee. I tink da cars gonna git dwunk agin tanite!!
Lubslubslubslubslubs all ya'll!!
-
LOL Cami, well, I guess every TUES is Fat Tuesday for me, too! Never thought of it that way. I have the beads, feather masks, colorful coins, so my g'dau can have fun, since we will be driving to NC that day. Then we have her for Valentine's Day too. She will miss the Ash Wednesday at church, and getting the ashes on her forehead, but she'll get over it! I know she is missing not only Valentines Day parties, but 2 friends b'day parties, during the wk we are gone. Camille, I am just making the "recovery discs" which used to be included with your computer...it will just restore your computer to how it WAS, and can save it if it crashes. This is different than backing up your files. I do try to backup my photos every so often, and need to do it again, but I have never backed up my files....figure I would be ok if I lose them! When I lived up your way (but in IN at the Lake), the lake used to give us MORE snow...maybe because we were just a couple of blks from it? I used to love to see Lake MIchigan frozen, as it looked like frozen waves....I guess the snow, wind, etc., did that, but it was awesome.
Awww Bernie, cute computer cartoon!
NM, YES, so glad you are always prepared, but please be careful too and stay in if you can! What a storm!! Will try to keep up with it, but will be on the road all day tomorrow. That is, IF my DH is ok.....he got sick last night, prolly a cold, but started on the zicam, and hoping he gets ok by staying in bed today. Don't want to disappoint our g'dau, as this should be such a fun trip! Neat DOTD!!!
Lori, Hoping the dr can give your DH something to help him get well!!! HE has been sick for a long time, and I know he must feel miserable.
OK....lots to do...gotta color my hair, then take my dad to the skin dr for the surg on his moles today....I think he has to take a big chunk out of his shoulder.
Big Hugs to All, and dwink up, its THIRST-DEY!
Kat
-
OOPSIE....*handing Sue a brandy/coffee*....didn't mean to spill your dwink, susie qutie! Hope all your appts go well today!!! Glad your dinner was great, have never had a bad meal there....good choice for DH's birfdey! Congrats to him on his retirement too!!!! When my DH retired, it was after 43 yrs, and mostly in the SAME office....I thought he would miss everyone so much, but he was jest glad to be out of the rat race! In fact he missed his "last work day" as we went to HI instead! Had a nice retirement lunch though after we got back. You have a good day, and am glad you got home safely from Vegas, and had a GOOD nights sleep last night!!
TataTataTataTata! (???)...lol
