AMERICAN IDOL...Season 12 & The Voice...Season 4

Teka I just read that about Matt Farmer lying
it makes me sad that people go on tv and feel the need to lie about who they are and where they've been to get attention and thinking it will get them through on a singing competition. As for the Voice I wonder how good it will be this time without Christina and Cee Lo?
-
Voice starts on MARCH 25 , Monday
Good Morning my friends
-
Can not wait till March 25, AI has become mere dribble! I use it for background noise when I read. The judges are letting contestants through that Simon would have called less than a karaoke singer. The judges and talent of The Voice have it all over AI.
-
Good morning Karen.........
-
Hi Sheila, good morning to you too, I have just become so hardened by AI, especially when I compare it to The Voice, that while I am listening to it, I am not posting much at all, and my mama said "if you can't say anything nice....
-
I'll tell you what was another disgrace (IMHO):
Zoanette Johnson "singing" the national anthem.
The follow-up disgrace was the judges sending her to Hollywood!!!
-
Blessings, I could not believe they did that, it was a disgrace!
-
What did I miss?
I'll try to look this up!
-
Al should screen songs chosen by contestants!
-
Blessing...i totally agree with you....
Freedom of speech whatever but National Anthem should't be a song choice
And that woman had no class....SLAP SLAP......
I just watched the opening of the SB...Alicia Keys brought tears to my eyes....
-
Those who missed her...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7QaxF0brB3U
-
Now Alicia is one classy singer, a professional all the way, I had tears also Sheila.
-
Karen...i get very emotional during National Anthem
how are you my friend?
-
-
The National Anthem still gives me chills when I hear it, even more so if I am present at the event. I am just getting over a nasty flu bug that held on for almost 10 days, it feels so good to be well again. And I did get the flu shot a month ago, must have gotten a mutant virus that the shot did not address. That was some show Beyonce put on at the Super Bowl!!!
-
Ready for Al?
-
Help me make it through this night!
-
That bad?
What am I getting myself into?
-
It's Hollywood week tonight for the boys....
We are getting there slowly.....
-
I find tonight's episode very disorganized...
I don't know what's going on........
who is who.........
i'm lost
-
So far it has been disorganized, really threw them for a loop getting put into groups.
-
No one really stood out for me, afraid this is going to be a dismal year. Maybe tomorrow for the solos, someone will rise above the others.
-
-
I am taking a time out from the judges,
until March 13th when the "live top ten finalists perform".
-
Not a bad idea Teka!
-
AI started almost 45 minutes ago. We have it on DVR so we can skip all the commercials. We'll still be done by 10 p.m.
All I can think of is "there's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back again..."
Maybe I'll just record it and let DH stay up and watch, and if there is anything spectacular (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA) he can tell me tomorrow.
-
Oh Blessings, LOL, I just logged on for the morning and you gave me my first and I suspect best laugh of the day, poor DH though!
-
I always record and then ff past all the commercials and contestants I am not interested in. I especially ff past the judges but may listen this year if the do some actualy helpful critiques.
March 13 th you say?
-
Gingerbrew, are you willing to post Dh's comments so we don't have to watch either, lol
-
I agree with everyone about there being some that the judges put through that were shall we say dribble... but the voice wasn't all that either. It was good, but I actually thought they sent some home last year that should have stayed. I think it is that way in all competitions. Anyway JMO
and the same goes for Xfactor too! Right now I'm not happy that the judges are going to narrow the competition field down to the top 10 this year when in the years past the public has voted and narrowed the field from the top 20 to the top 10 by voting each week. This really ticks me off!!! Some of you may like it, but from what I'm seeing right now I am not liking the judges choices so I'm not thinking I'm going to like the top 10 they choose either... Will they send your favorite home?
