The first 2 out of 3 good decision......Paul made it
what is all these crying?????????
Someone in the judges looks like she is in witness protection.........
HI Karen
Hi Renee
-
Hi Sheila! I am not a fan of Lazaro's (JMO). I think Paul Jolley is a cute guy and a good singer as well...like him!
-
So far Paul all the way......
He can sing.....He is presentable....whole package........
I'm waiting for the girls next week...There were quite few i liked...Don't ask me the names.......
-
Jimmy Smith....
-
I agree Sheila I think this is going to be a girl year for me from what I've seen. Unless the judges become idiots and don't put my faves through to the top 10 then I very well may not watch till the end... I'm not loving them. I hope these judges are not the end of AI
-
Is there a spoiler for top 10?
-
No I haven't found one out there Sheila but I haven't looked... you like to search for things why don't you take a look see
-
I really like that Charlie Askew... he's a great singer!
-
hahahhahahahaaaaaa.....
Do we really want to know if there is one?
Maybe top 20
I start my Detective job right after the show....
-
I would love to know if there is a top 10
-
Yes, yes, on Paul Jolley and Jimmy Smith, that one judge can certainly carve up a person with her sharp tongue, sometimes I think I am getting used to her and tonight I want to put a sock in her mouth and yank that hat off. Hi Sheila, hi Renee, I agree on picking the top 20 then letting the public have input for final 10. They seem to have made many changes this year and some are quite arbitrary.
-
Top 20 is not previously taped so i don't think it could be a list.........
IMO I think once we know who is who as top 20 or 10 the show will be more interesting..
That National anthem singer girl has to go.......
-
Sheila, I thought I saw her in the really quick snapshots of girls who made it through, I hope I'm wrong!!
-
Karen....I have the top 40 spoiler list and......
But top 20 is more interesting........
-
oh is that a tease!! Now I have to watch next week, hope the girls show more pizazz than the boys, except for Jimmy Smith, he'll be someone to watch if he learns to belt it out when a song needs it.
-
Jimmy Smith
-
Paul Jolley
-
Good Night my Friends......
♥
-
Thank you Sheila, good night all.
-
I think Paul Jolley is cute but there is something a little off... not sure what it is yet. I really just don't think he has the WOW factor completely. Jimmy Smith is cute too and he can sing but is he the whole package? yet to be determined.
There is one of the girls coming up next week, her name is Rachel Hale... she has a facebook page, she is from Nashville. She actually has a few songs on her page. She is very good. I like her a lot. Go take a look at it. See what you think???
I agree about the girl that sang the National anthem what were they thinking? She hasn't got the AI it factor LOL! Many people can sing but you have to be able to sell cd's and do a live show. We aren't talking about doing theatre here. JMO...
-
Peaches, what did you expect? You didn't SING!
I think I like this new format for this stage of the competition.
Yes Nikki looked like she was in deep disguise.
I did wonder why any of them thought that saying, over and over, "I want this so bad!" would be in any way effective. So does everyone else.
I think it is Blessings husband we need to ask to post for us. Mine doesn't watch but actually did vote for me one time! I was amazed!
Hugs Ginger
-
That's right it was Blessing's DH, would he do a synopsis for those of us not crazy about the new crop of judges, except for Keith Urban. Karen
-
Ohhh....thank you, Ladies, but DH is missing the Snark Gene. I don't think he could give an extrememly accurate accounting of any memorable moments.
I, on the other hand, loved the moment Miss Nicki-Witness-Protection called out Matheus for his constant "Pity Party" whining before the judges. I was already mad at him because he's a big fat liar, saying he'd never sung with a band before...
Um, what do you call THIS???

I still don't have all the remaining guy contestants clear in my head, but I do think they made the right choices sending home the ones they did.
I think Paul Jolley's problem is crippling insecurity. I forget which judge basically said "Have some dignity, Dude!" (my words...) (Oh, wait, it was "just give us ONE MINUTE of professionalism!")
Ginger - You're right - Papa Peaches is a character, but SING? Nuh-uh. He kind of moans, in a drunken, monotonous way, and I had the feeling that every song he performed would come out sounding like that.
Loved seeing Gurpreet (The Turbanator) singing "Georgia On My Mind"...
REALLY liked Curtis Finch, Devin Velez, Nick Boddington (contestant from last season), and Charlie Askew has my attention....
Hey, whatever happened to the days when if you forgot your lyrics, it was an automatic disqualification?
-
Blessing it's a year for lying and crying for the guys
Last year it was fainting for the girls
I don't know the names yet....but promise once it's top ten my memory will be working better......
HI Everyone....

-
GIRLS NIGHT
-
So far i'm loving the girls and all the judge's choices......
Sorry if i'm talking to myself....
Rachel and Janelle....♥
-
Hi Sheila, I was on the phone, long distance, but I'm here with you now. Saw the southern beles - liked them, this last leopard spotted group really turned on the girl that went through, wasn't crazy about her either.
-
Karen...The first hour was the best.....
I'm not liking the second hour girls singings that much
-
I admit NM is very polite and pleasant tonight.......
