THRILLED  we don't have to watch/listen to Kez Ban any more (unless they really DID give her a job on AI (ohpleaseno!!!) but DISGUSTED that Zoanette Johnson got put through while some other, more talented singers went home. But hey, AI got its drama!

But maybe I'm just being harsh. Maybe Zoanette is really a nice person...after all, she seems very supportive to the other contestants, cheering them on, and comforting them when they leave....(struggling to find nice things to say here.... ) 

Oh where is Simon Cowell when you need him to say "This is a SINGING competition!!!" 

Of course, we'll be watching next week

Hi Sheila.  Knew you'd be doing another thread for the new season.  My idol viewing always seems to run like this...Watch some of the open auditions, then watch quite a few of the Top 20 on down nights, then quit abruptly when all my own favorites get eliminated before the finale so that I don't care who wins.

So far, so good, this season.  I like how Nicki is the new smirking Simon.  Mariah is like the new, and equally sedated, Paula, but a little meaner.  Keith hasn't really gotten his inner critic on yet, but wait for it because you know it's in there.

Last night I tuned in right when Angela Miller did her song.  OMG, I think she will get signed just to get that one recorded and released in it's full length.  She's my early fave now.

Sheila thanks for posting the list of things to come   I am still not happy about the public not getting to vote until the top 10.  I haven't been too thrilled with "some" of the judges choices that they sent home and some they kept...like Zoanette Johnson for one.  I am afraid that because of "some of their weirdness" they will keep some we don't like and, aka Zoanette  and the Turbinatior, and send others we do like aka Rachel and Paul home if they let them make it through the Las Vegas rounds.  I've seen Randy being heavily influenced by Nicki and Mariah... OMG where is Simon!! Help!!! LOL

I LOVE Kree, so unaffected, such a pure voice, I agree could well be next AI.  Felt like that last season with Phillip Phillips.
