    Well, I managed to stay awake last night to watch the whole show.

    I will give NM points for having some nice things to say to the contestants, but her constant clawing at MC is just stupid.

    However, I get the feeling that perhaps Nikki feels like she has to stand up to someone who is such a legend as Mariah...so 1) she'll assert her opinions whenever she can to prove she has as much right to be there as MC, and 2) I think she does it just to be a little PIA.

    What was up with all that fake British accent stuff?

    And will Mariah be able to see tonight after possibly spraining her eyeballs from rolling them so much?

    Gotta admit - DH and I were playing games on our iPhones and kept the TV on "MUTE" while the judges were babbling back and forth. We just turned on the sound to hear the contestants.

    I have tonight's show on record, so if I nod off and there turns out to be anything interesting going on, I can see it later.

    Right now I'm thinking a bowl of popcorn and a smoothie would wake me up (show starts in 45 minutes) but I'm not holding out much hope!!! Laughing

    My favorite line from last night: "I feel like a scratching post!" (Keith Urban, on finding himself in the middle of the catfight between Mariah and Nikki.)

    I felt bad for the contestants who had to stand there while all four judges screamed and yelled at each other. More drama = better TV? I don't think so!!!

    I think "Hollywood Week" is going to be a train wreck.

    We'll probably end up like Teka - watching it when it narrows down to the final ten or so...

    Opinions on Janelle Arthur anyone... she's country, from Nashville, beautiful and sang "Where the Black top ends"... I loved her!! She has appeared in Hollywood week season 10 and LVR season 11!! This may be her year

    O.K., AI fans....don't hate me, but......Nicki Minaj is growing on me.

    Oh, I don't mean the cattiness with Mariah or the need to keep arguing amongst the judges, but some of the things she says just crack me up.

    And I haven't heard her be deliberately rude or insulting to a contestant, no matter how awful they are.

    Last night's big honkin' argument seemed to stem from Randy and Mariah interrogating a contestant as to whether she was "country" or not....and Nicki's position was that they never did that to other contestants in other genres, and to be skewered like that in the middle of an audition might cause some people to change their direction just because the judges expected a firm commitment.

    I think it was a valid point.

    I am getting a bit bored with Mariah just sitting there like the Queen Bee, rolling her eyeballs at everything Nicki says, and her saying "You have a beautiful voice..." to every other contestant. She always looks like SHE's bored!

    At least Nicki is providing some comic relief....

    (O.K! Throw the tomatoes at me now!!!)

    I can't say she grew on me yet.......maybe it's her crazy look which I can't stand...other than that she is caring and very honest with the contestants

    I love when she calls them Honey Pie....

    MC is very fake as a judge but i love her as a singer.......

    Poor KU...you can hardly hear his voice......Wink

    Randy i don't pay attention that much he's been with the show since the beginning
