Tampa area BCO sisters get togethers

Thanks for the calming vibes! I got pretty good news. Most importantly, there was nothing new & nothing had progressed. In the last pet, there were 3 individual tumors on different lobes with 1 area of confluent lesions. Of the 3 individual lesions, 1 is gone completely, and the other 2 have decreased in suv down to 3.2-3.6 (with the liver normal being between 2-3). The confluent area was still at 4.3,but even that was down from 6.1. Also, all of the areas were now being called areas of focus rather than lesions which my MO said means that they aren't seeing a true mass in the areas any more. I'll take it, and am very happy with it! Now to get past the hysterectomy on Tuesday 2/5 and begin my AI.

nbnotes - yay for the good news! Glad you can take a breath before the hyst.

Very happy for you, nbnotes! Will send more positive thoughts your way for Tuesday.

kira and nbnotes congrats to both of you on your good news!
Yesterday was 2 years since my diagnosis. It is hard to believe it has already been 2 years.

What wonderful news to hear for our Ladies!
-
Hi I would really like some information on how to join your group in Tampa. I'm looking for some support from women. Please message me privately.
-
DebraR,
Keep your eye on the top of this page. All are welcome to join. Many of the ladies live in the Tampa are, so of us live further away which makes it harder for us to join as often as we would like. I for one live about 3 hours away in Punta Gorda.
nbnotes, so glad for your results!
-
FLwarrier, congrats on the cancerversary!
-
Thank you SpecialK and kira.
Welcome Debra. Sorry that you find your self joining the ranks of b/c. Wish none of us had to be here. You have found a great very supportive group of ladies!
-
DebraR,
I hope you'll join in. I'm new here (to Clearwater) so meeting these ladies has been great and the conversation is always real!
FLwarrior, congratulations on the two years, mine will be June2nd 2013.
Hello everybody,
Going home to spend a week with my folks in North Carolina. I've been living in FL for 3 years.......I have shorts for summer and capris for winter........so, I'm taking my capris and will buy a pair of UGG's when I get there. Will that work?! -
firework - interesting fashion statement! Enjoy your visit!
-
Have a great trip, firework! I have furry leopard boots for when it is cold & I've been wearing them a lot this season.
Congrats on the milestone, FLWarrior & congrats on the good report, kira!
-
dll - we are Tampa BCO sisters for sure - I have furry cheetah boots!
-
I bet they are cute, SpecialK!
-
I'll bet the cheetah boots are great for cool days like today!
-
I am soooooo coming back with some fake fur boots!
Fire( is working)work -
ok....you ladies are wild
-
I'd like to see you walk in those!
-
Definately not the shoes for those of us with peripheral neuropathy!!
-
The cheetah boots are more like Uggs, flat bottomed but furry. If I tried to walk in the boots above I would need transportation to the emergency room!
-
Lee7, those look like shoe covers & I think I need them!
-
LOL...you won't see me walking in those heels. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price.
I'd wear furry Uggs.
-
Hi! I pop in here from time to time. I am in Brandon. You guys made me laugh with the photo. I want to bring her to the plastic surgeon. Hope everyone is doingwell! Pam
-
pam - I am guessing she has already been to the plastic surgeon! How are you doing and feeling?
-
Hi all, when should I come home? Whenever we have a get together! As I'd said, my home is small you're still welcome!!
