I'm bringing Wendel! Good thoughts!
-
Dear Kam - thinking of you and hoping for boring, very boring.
-
Thanks guys...I was sort of expecting good news with a huge caveat for bad....as I'm kind of the pessimist. I didn't find out if it is birads 4a, 4b, or 4c....probably don't want to know. Would a fat necrosis or fibrous benighn tumor cling to the chest wall? I still can't fathom how it could get so big so fast? I've got a backpack and my gf is helping me carry it tomorrow. 1:30 pm PST.
-
Kam, seems to me that cancer would not grow that fast, but something like a cyst would. Just don't forget we're here for you sweetie!
-
Ah, /-&$@:,$-/&#%{]}^*]!, Kam! Just $&((:&$:(\!,€~+{}^~]}=+*!!!!!!!
Maybe a lipoma? Fibroadenoma? I have a sebaceous cyst that grew right between the noobs - they are common there, according to bs. After my first dx, lumpectomy and rads, I developed very quickly (in a matter of a week) a lump the size and shape of my thumb in my good boob. It turned out to be a cyst.
Holding firmly to a benign explanation for you and collecting a supply of chocolate, wine and chips (the three main food groups - sweet, salty and alcohol) for the bag tomorrow.
(((((Kam))))) -
Can you believe this????????? What a disgrace!

-
It appears that lumps can form after reconstruction and they can be solid or semi solid fat necroses. Fat tissue can harden after surgery. The only other thing growing that quickly would be in cases of inflammatory breast cancer, but you'd notice more visible and disturbing symptoms if that were the case.
I'm optimistic that it's just a nasty scare.
-
Kam - hope it ends up boring - Athena's right, surely nothing could grow that quickly.
Twitter is for twits and it looks like there are a lot of Twits over there

-
Kam-we'll all be in your backpack tomorrow. I'll bring wine and chocolate.
Easier said than done but try not to let your mind go to the bad places. Once again I will tell you that my SIL had a biopsy on her lump and it turned out to be scar tissue. So it is possible to have something that doctors feel needs biopsying(is that a word??) turn out to be B9.
Holding your hand and squeeeeeezing hard.
Mary

I love you guys. xxo I have a friend going with me (85 miles away). I should know everything by tomorrow afternoon.
-
really really really good thoughts!! I'll jump in your backpack with everyone else. I'll bring wine, too.
-
My only good news is that my empath cat was really interested in my left breast before I had cancer, and had one of those unspecified UTIs for months before (caused by stress). She has no interest, that I can tell, in my right breast

-
-
(((KAM)))
We will all be crammed into your backpack. If you plan to bring your cat, let us know so we can bring treats.
Best wishes for a sound sleep tonight and boring news tomorrow!

LOVED the picture, Blue! It made me laugh out loud!
-
-
Oops...that photo's a little large. Mods, can you help?
Tonight's photo of me and my horsey boy. Isn't he lovely?
-
((((KAM))))
Thoughts are with you tomorrow. Been busy today with MIL back in hospital.
-
gorgeous!!!!!
-
He's just fabulous E!
-
Thank you, Mods!
And thank you, Athena and Sandy! He's my therapy. :-)
-
I don't know how to judge horses, but he sure is beautiful E. Are you close to being able to ride him?
-
Kam,
He's doing beautifully under saddle with the trainer and I can't wait to hop on myself. The trainer told us initially we'd be able to ride after a month or two; I'm waiting for the word from him. I carry my breeches and boots around with me so I'll be ready when I get The Call! :-)
-
MAGNIFICENT creature!
-
Enjoyful, your boy is extremely lovely.
-
Thanks, Blue and Momine! He's beautiful, talented, and a real sweetheart.
Kam - thinking of you this morning! All digits crossed!
E
-
May he go peacefully. He has suffered too long.

-
E- What a beautiful horse. DO you ride English or Western?
-
E - love the recent picture of Samson and his proud momma!
Kam - waiting with you for your boring results.
I was so offended by the gabby Gifford tweets ... There are plenty of insensitive people in this country and I wish they'd keep their insensitive thoughts to themselves! -
Alexandria - I ride English and plan to show him this summer in eventing (combined tests of dressage, show jumping, and cross-country).
Thanks, Glenna! I should pick you up on my way to the farm one day. You're on the way!
The Gifford tweets were beyond the pale. Amazing what internet anonymity will do to some people.
