Barb - Not much longer and you  will be cruising away.  Hope you have a less stressful week and then enjoy your cruise.  Wish I was going on a cruise too.  I will be enjoying this week taking care of my daughter and her 3 children.

I got the results of my CT scan and don't remember if I shared it with all of you or not.  The liver leisons are almost completely gone, the lung nodules are smaller, the bone mets have not grown and there are no new ones (so they are classified as stable) and the lymph nodes on both the right and left sides are getting smaller.  All good news so I will be really enjoying the days ahead.

Allyson; i knew the outcome, but Mur and I watched our 1st rugby match tonight,, saw the all blacks win.. never knew it was such a rough spot.. and who is dan? isreal?? what a hunk.. is his position like a quarterbak in football, or something? he made a lot of plays.. i felt so bad folr the captain rick, he took a beating, but WHAT a win!!!!congrats!!!

AmyJo, that is truly fabulous!! I bet you can breathe all the way down to the bottom of your lungs now.....I tend to shallow breathe when I'm waiting for something and feel the great relief when I get a good response.

    AmyJo great news.

3Jays. Israel Dagg is our great  Full Back and yes he does a lot of work in the game.. There is no quarter back as such. It is the First Five Eight or the Fly half- also called half back - who clear the ball from the scrum. And yes, it is a rough tough game and those on the whole they don't wear padding. Some of the Forwards wear very light shoulder pads and head gear. Ritchies injuries were mild on Sunday, he didn't even have to go off to the blood bin as others did. Yes what a win as the French played very well.

Well thats all over and I suppose I should take the flags down.

    Hope you are doing fine.

Thanks for all the congratulations.  I am so thankful that I have the medical team I have.  Evidently they know what they are doing since I am doing so well.  Plus I really like all of them now that I have changed my PS to someone that will listen to me.

DD#1 surgery went very well.  They were able to get all of the cyst and did not have to take any of the overy.  They have sent it for a full pathology report because of her family history.  Her biological father died of cancer and we all know my story.  They do not think it is cancerous after actually seeing it, but they want to be sure.  She is resting at home now so for this evening DH is handeling the children and I am taking care of her.  She is in a lot of pain and I have to keep reminding her not to let the pain get too bad before she takes the medicine thay gave her.  She has needed help getting in and out of bed to go to the bathroom and had been very nauseous, but that is all to be expected.

Barbe - the pain is due to all the bone mets.  I am so glad they are stable so that they will not be getting any worse.  They are not any better, but at least they are not any worse.

Well I need to run check on Kristen and see if she feels like eating anything other than saltines.

Isabella, I plan to take lots of pix but I really wanted to only take my iPad not a laptop. But if I do that, I can't download the pix from the camera nor upload them to FB or here. Hmmm, still pondering that.

AJ, DD is in my prayers for B9!!

Hey Cherie, Aly, Barb and Lisa! Off to work.

    Great news, Amyjo!

BarbA:  Wow, only 3 more days.

Had recheck on papsmear.  Follow up to previous cervical biopsy.  OB/GYN said he wasn't concerned and he felt it would resolve itself.  He also did the CA125 blood test for ovarian cancer.  Results should be back in a week.

Working a lot of hours, but I am taking Friday and Monday off. Need to work on kids costumes and get some rest.

    Later!

Oh, that's right, Lisa, you are headed our way. This one is nothing. Should be *maybe* over western Cuba by Monday as a low pressure system only.

Hey barbe, I am not crazy. No moving for me, I am just transportation.

The mammo was nerve-wracking. I mentioned my breast LE to the tech and she said she thought the doc would probably want an ultrasound after she looked at the views. OK, freakout started but turns out after two more views, I was on my way. Whew. Another bullet dodged for 6 more months.

    TWO MORE DAYS!!!
