Got to Flylady.net she has great advice and routines to help get the cleaning done, without becoming overwhelmed!
-
Just wish I had a place to put everything! I'm going to the flylady.net. Thanks.

Hey Bunnies!!
Hope all of you are doing well. It's been awhile since I've logged on. I've felt kinda yucky the last week or two, but don't want to complain. It could be worse!!
So thankful for each of you!!!
Thinking of Arnie especially!!! (((((((((((((((((((((Arniebelle)))))))))))))))))))) I hope you had a wondermous birthday. And yes........I do have a card........and no, I haven't mailed it yet:) But soon......when you least expect it.......LOL
Shinygirl!!!! Pop in and bring us up to date on your lemonette status!!!
Vivvygirl too!!! Would love to hear what's going on in your world,
I've heard Faithie is in Vegas. I hope they hid the remote for the blinds this time. She may NEVER be able to present her programs if she's being entertained by the blinds
:):)
Looking forward to Mum's pictures from her latest trip!
Sharon Lovey!!! I know we keep in touch most everyday, but I miss yous post here. We need to plan a "fun" day soon. Big hugs to you, WBC and DP.
Kathleen----unload those boxes one at a time and eventually, they'll all be empty and everything will be in its place.
Bedo---yeppers, that is DEFINITELY cleaning. We may have to perform an intervention to keep that from happening:)
MROCHON---maybe an intervention is in order for you too:) LOL. If you feel the urge to do any type housework, just step back, take some deep breaths, lay down on your sofa and take a short nap and maybe once you wake up, you will think it's just a bad nightmare:)
Big hugs Bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coonie, so sorry you have been loosing sleep and worrying. Hope things will settle soon, if not, the drink we were discussing is Pims..very refreshing! Take care of you now. I think of you most every day daaaling. Sending you peachy vibes.
Hope you are all fairly peachy at the very least. I see Barbe is giving good advice to MRochon. Listen to her MRochon!, firstly because it's correct, any reppetitive movement of the arm, especially early on with get you aching, and "tick off " your arm and give you more "jip" then it's worth.
As someone very wise said here many moons ago " the dusbunnies, will faithfully wait until you are ready to tackle them", so no housework for you just yet!
Thinking of you all. Been up with some of the usual aches for a few hours, and just said goodbye to DH for a few days, so popping in to blow you all a kiss.
Lemonette? waiting on some blood results, feeling whooosy these days, still not used to my new eyes statues (which will hopefully settle down soon). Definitely not quite right, but on the up side, have lost 11 pounds, slowly, which is good, even helps lymphedema. Now, to loose the other 30 pounds..
My little DD had a lovely pool party for her 8th birthday, and DD has been doing well, and increasing his communications, asking questions, lovely, but had mega tears yesterday, so hopefully it is more that he is tired then much else. Please God, as yesterday was wrenching. They still in school until the 27th!! whewwww
xx

Shiny,..,,,.,, new eyes? Did you not post something here? Did you get new eyes????
Coonie, I hope you mean you're in touch with Sharon50. I worry so much about her because I know how Elizabeth's death affected me (I"m still off on short-term disability) and it must have really hit Sharon hard. Please send her my love.

Ok I get it....no housework! But...I'm still gonna do a little.. I went to my doctor today and got a referral for physical therapy. And guess what, the physical therapy people just called and I have an appointment in an hour! I also meet with my personal trainer tomorrow afternoon. I'm getting my motion back come hell or high water! Where did that saying come from anyway? I'm not going to push it, I'll take it slow. I'll see what the physical therapist has to say and then see what the program my trainer has for me. He's very specialized and degreed so he's not just anybody who has a 'certificate'.
My girls are cleaning right now. One is cleaning the kitchen, the other the wash. I'm sitting here on the couch typing away. It's not easy just sitting here, just sayin..
Michelle
-
It aint easy, but it's necessary. You have to heal properly so you don't get issues down the road. Also, the girls have to learn to clean anyway!
-
Oh they can clean! lol I'm pretty anal and do they hate doing the crap I'm making them do.. :-)
-
Shinygirl!!! Is it your eyes that are making you whoozie? I can't believe your kids are still in school. How long of a break will they get? Ours get out end of May and go back middle of August. I can't believe your DD is a big 8 year old!!!!!! They grow up so fast, don't they? Sending you big peachy hugs across the pond!!!!
Alright Michelle!!!! You're getting the hang of it. NO Housekeeping:)!! Maybe you can just tell your kids, this will be indefinitely---LOL. But I do know how you feel. I'm pretty anal about stuff too, and end up doing way too much and then pay for it for weeks! So, just be careful and pick the easier stuff.
Hey Barbe....I'll sure pass on your message to Sharon. Anytime a sistah passes on, it's really hard but ESPECIALLY hard when you've been able to know them personally. If all our bunnies could just send love and prayers to Sharon, I'm sure she would appreciate it. She's just a wonderful lady!!
Sending big bunny hugs to all of you today!!!!
-
I had a couple family members come in this week to help with cleaning. My girls have done a pretty good job of keeping up with it. I told them...see how much nicer I am to be around when the house is clean?!

I am back from Vegas -- where the remote control for the blinds and window coverings was still just as exciting as last year!!!
Speaking of window coverings, my DH got all carried away and ordered a brand new drapery for our ten foot double-huge-longggggggggggg sliding glass door out to my sunroom studio. He's been talking about it for a while and just went & did it without my input. LOL.
Anyhow, it really does spruce up our little bitty space and I have to admit it makes a very nice facelift. (I wasn't the least bit bothered by the old haggard drape that had a water stain on the corner behind the TV cupboard -- but now we're fit for the queen's visit.)
Shinygirl. Always thinking of you across the pond. It's amazing to think your DD's 8. How does this happen to our children??? Our GRAND children?????
Here's our little princess (grand-daughter for you new bunnies).... she is already three:
-
Ah Faith!! What a sweetie!!! Remember when they used to call them 'milk teeth'...that shows such an innocence. And the red hair..still!!!...looks like it's staying. Look out sister - a temper will come with those beautiful locks!!
-
On Wednesday I get my first free professional cleaning from that program I found out about here! Yipppeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I can smell the Pine Sol already!
Michelle -
OOooh, let us know if they're good Michelle, or just nosy and asking questions.
-
The cleaning lady just left! She did my bathroom, kitchen and laundry room. Pine Sol has filled the house! It felt weird having someone I don't know cleaning and I wasn't helping. She did a really good job and is a breast cancer survivor too.
-
Very cool. I wondered about that. Kind of paying it forward. Will you get called to do it one day or was it just a coincidence that she had bc?
-
I think it was just a coincidence. She works for one of the major cleaning companies in my area. Or maybe they try and send their bc survivors or recruit them for work for this program. I could tell she wasn't well off financially. I felt bad. I can't imagine what it's like to not have the job I have and great insurance. She said she is still not all clear. The drs only took one breast and she said she begged for them to take both. They said no. She said her sister and cousin died from bc.
-
Ah, I hope the agency paid HER!! What do you do anyway?
-
I work for California State Parks. I'm a budget analyst for a separate division. Not only am I picky about cleaning but where money is coming and going from!
I just looked up a a breast cancer organization here in my area. I'm going to offer my services for volunteering as soon as I'm able. There must be a way to help those that are less fortunate than me with this awful disease.
-
Faithie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That little redhead is the CUTEST!!!!!!! ummmmhmmmmm uuughhhhhh you do know there's a "CUTE THREAD" don't you?? heheLOLOL That's a great pic of her. Did you take it, or DD? Anyway.........just plum cute!!!
mrochon---so glad you were able to get some help with your housework. Do they limit it to just so many rooms? Will they come back and do the other rooms? It sounds like such a great service.
Hope all you sweet Bunnies are doing well. We've just gotten in from a week on the gulf coast. It was HOT as blazes, but we really enjoyed the quiet time. No phone service, no puter service........no stress
-
Hi all!......Welcome Michelle!.........My name is Lucy and I have been coming here for almost 5 years.....I am a 4 1/2 year survivor.......I too had a double mast due to famly history.....My sister Fran is a 5 yr survivor but sadly we lost our mother, grandmother and a sister to BC......We lost the sister right after Fran was diagnosed....The sister passed in Sept of 2006....fran was diagnosed in Aug of 2006 and I was diagnosed in Jan 2007.....It was a very rough time but we are doing well.....Big party coming up in Aug for Fran and I can't wait to see her.....She lives in another state....
Have you had any trouble with your arm where they took the lymph nodes?.....I had a serios case of Axillary Web Syndrome, also called chording......You get these "chords" that run down your arm and it restricts mobility very much......I had a great therapist and she had them "popped" in no time.......I wish you much success with your PT.......
(((Faith))) Your little grandkidlet is so beautiful!.....You gotta watch out for the boys when she grows up!...LOL
Happy late Birthday to all I missed!.......
I have missed you all bunches and bunches!......
DH is FINALLY looking for a job!......YAY!!!
((( Coonie))) I am sooooo jealous!...hehehe......I LOVE the Gulf coast!......Where did you go?....My favorite haunts are Destin, Sandestin and Panama City Beach......
-
Hi Lovely Ladies,
Just popping in for a visit while there is a quiet moment at work.
All is well in opposite land ( down under and winter). The weather has been cool and have been getting lots of rain. So glad of our new heater.
My DS has gone through to the second round of army recruiting & my DD has just got her permit to learn to drive....Ahhhh Definately more grey hairs on the way.
My life just seems at the moment to revolve around the needs of the family and I really must make time for myself... Should be eating better and exercising more and definately doing my lymph massage.!!!!!
I just love Coonies comment of if you feel like cleaning, you should take a nap. Think I will do that on my day off tomorrow.
I just love that you all are just a couple of clicks and keystrokes away from me. I think of you all often.
Viv
-

hi Coonie..things are not so great. Cancer is on the move again..the breast mass that had all but disappeared found a way around the femara and has grown again. Since femara is still working everywhere else onc is trying to figure a way to keep meon as long as he can. Plan isto have lumpectomy while I can and get rid of whats there and keep fingers crossed.
Last fall the luprton was not as effective and estrogen levels were going up, in February I have ovaries removed...shouldn't be surprised by this. Knew it would happen sooner or later. Got 4.5 yrs out of it soooo....
