Speaking of AIs -- it took almost a year to start being free of the Femara SE's. Then 2 months ago my insurance company decided that the generic (made by TEVA) was good enough for me, and the SE's came rushing back within a couple of weeks! I'd heard that TEVA was reputable, but now I'm not sure. Thinking of going back to Femara and swallowing the difference in price (if they let me). Getting really tired of the headaches and wrist aches and hip and knee aches when I get up out of bed or a chair. And I get facial headaches every afternoon again too. Back to taking advil every day, which cannot be a good thing.
Okay, moan over! Thanks for listening!
-
Bren, I'd tried Femara first but had similar side effects. When I got the same SEs from Arimidex, my onc figured all AIs would work the same for me. BUMMER.
-
YES, of all charges except for providing false information to police officers.
-
I don't want to pry enjoyful, but have you tried magnesium supplements to ease the se's? It seems to help quite a few.

The part of Virginia that the Commonwealth donated to form the District of Columbia is what is now Arlington and Alexandria. The District gave it back to Virginia because they thought they wouldn't need it. And in fact, Maryland owns the Potomac, not Virginia. You need a Maryland or DC fishing license to fish the Potomac between Point of Rocks (above Key Bridge) and the Rt. 301 bridge, way south. Virginia doesn't begin until the shoreline. So, if anyone takes DC back, it would be Maryland. At least, Athena, you would have a delightfully Democratic governor and Attorney General and not Krazy Kookinelli!

NOT GUILTY? WTF???? Oh sometimes bad people get really lucky.
-
E, so glad to hear you are enjoying a pain free day! May tomrrow be one as well...and the day after and the day after...

I went to work for half a day today then went to the doctor.I came home and slept while my DH made dinner. Fried chicken, leftover potato salad and tossed salad.
I have bronchitis and am on prednisone and antibiotics. The good news is it is a virus and will go away in a week to ten days. The bad news is it a virus and will go away in a week to ten days. I had a good time this weekend but I was coughing like crazy.
-
Rosemary .. I am so sorry you are sick. A week to 10 days is a long time when you feel so bad. That was very nice of your DH to make dinner!
Hope you feel better soon.
hugs,
Bren

Seriously......I still have pain above my right butt cheek going down into my butt. And.....to top it all off (no pun intended) - I came off my horse today on that side of my body. I mainly hit my head and my right shoulder but thankfully as always I wear a helmet and a cross country eventing vest which saved me from major injury. However, I am feeling some spasms on that right side now.
I guess that topped the day off after hearing that Casey Anthony was acquited for murder. The jury got it WRONG!!
-
Oh Jancie
Hope you feel better soon
-
((( Jancie ))) OMG .. I'm so glad you're okay and were wearing your helmet. My sis always wore her helmet too when riding cross country. She used to show as well. Although, after her last accident she quit riding.
Hope you feel better soon and recover before your upcoming show.
Bren

(((((Everybody))))) luvvvy duvvy!
We are alive, and that is what counts. And we have each other.
-
Jancie -
SO WRONG. What do they think happened?? Aliens?
-
Enjoyful - nope not aliens. The horses were beside themselves today due to the fireworks last night and I think someone set off a firework that Jazzy could hear and it spooked her so she leapt forward 15' in one stride and I got off balance and went off her side. She was really sweet because she twisted her body so that she wouldn't step on me.
I just need to remember not to ride her after a night of fireworks!
I am pleased though because this is the first time I came off of her and didn't end up in the ER with fractures. -
Athena - great perspective! Yes, we are alive and I am so happy for that. Small stuff tends to annoy me so much less after getting cancer.
-
Jancie .. so glad Jazzy stepped aside and you are okay.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Bren
-
LOL - Wasn't E jokingly talking about the Anthony case when she said aliens - that "aliens did it"?
IMO, if the government had gone for murder two they may have gotten a conviction. Should have given the jury that option.
-
Rosemary
Hope you are feeling better. That's whooping strong meds you've got to take... be gentle with yourself while healing...quack, quack, quack...
