Good afternoon all. The stupid water is off for some reason and I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM! Headed to Mickey D's.
-
I went to get a blood draw for my doctor's appointment on Friday
on the way back I stopped off at the Balboa Rose Garden to smell
the roses
-
-
beauiful roses again, Lisa!!! 3jays
-
Wish I could grow them like that!
-
Lisa, I'm working out of town and have precious little time to get online for email let alone BCO. I sooo appreciated those pictures after a horrendous day, thank you
-
sending hugs to you Mary..
who can see the ladybug here?
-
Beautiful roses and a ladybug too! Thank you Lisa for sharing.
Barb - so sad about the water being off. That can be a real pain in the drain! ;-)
Got my Aredia treatment today and they took it really slooooow. When I asked them why they said dr. wanted to protect my kidneys!!! That is the first time they have ever said anything about my kidneys. Dr. Did give me an antiB for the swelling in my feet. He said there was defifnately an infection present since the area was also red and blotchy. The swelling started about the same time I decided to pull all the weeds in the yard and got bit by who knows what. Anyway the swelling is already going down and the skin does not hurt so much now. With them taking it so slow I have not gotten sick yet. Maybe I won't this time. Dr. Also wants me to get a colonoscopy(sp) sand is going to start scheduling all the scans again since I have not had any since March. Good news is my tumor marker count is down to 37! Hope every one is having a good week. -
Though you might like to see these two.
When DD gave me the baby Bea didn't think there was enough room, she was already having a cuddle and then decided it was fine as I had two arms.
Big hugs to all
-
Lisa, thanks for the pickmeup. Loved the lady bug. What a shot! Alyson, love the babies. How beautiful they are. AmyJo, hoping you have no se's from your aredia. I am starting prayers right now for good scans! The worst part about colonoscopy is the stuff you have to drink and having to live on the john for 4 hours plus STARVING to death. I made the mistake of having one at 12:30. Never again. I was ready to rip DH's arm off in the waiting room and start gnawing. Mary, hope today is way better than yesterday.
-
Alyson - what cuties you have there. I know you are enjoying every minute with them.
Mary - Hope today was better than yesterday. The week is 1/2 over so things should be getting better since the weekend is coming.
Barb - I do not know how they will do the colonoscopy since the last time they tried to do one they could not get the camera past all the scar tissue that has resulted from my hystorectomy in 1981. We will see how what happens this time. I am sure the starting process will still be the same. YUCK.
I have had a very busy day but feel like I have not gotten anything accomplished. All day has been spent on estate stuff and I have not been able to even touch any of the tax stuff that needs to get done this week. Sometimes I think there needs to be 2 of me. DH says there used to be 2 of me, but I lost one of me since I have lost so much weight. 30 lbs to go and I will be where the drs want me to be. If only I did not learn I could now eat chocolate!
-
Alyson., I love that picture of you and the kids.
Amyjo, hope you are feeling better ..too much to do for you...
Barbara, are you in the pool?
-
-
I love it chabba
-
Me too! chabba it is a pretty little bird. How in the world do you ever get such a closeup shot?
-
It is a gray day here today...but the flowers seem to brighten it..
-
I spent all day at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for a customer appreciation event. I am whipped! We had six breakout rooms and did two morning sessions and three afternoon sessions. Meanwhile, there were tours of the stadium and locker room every hour. I have to say my two sessions were full! We had 220 people show up. A great turnout.
Now I need to have several Dewars and clubs and I will be fine. -
Amyjo, I didn't take the picture. I copied it from our local newspaper's web. Most of what I post comes from there.
The bird is the goldfinch, our State bird.
-
Chabba love that pic.
-
Barbara - Me too, that's why I snitched it!
-
chubba - I still enjoy the pictures no matter where you get them.
Lisa - they sure do brighten up the day. Lovely shades of pink. Bet they smell just a good as they look.
Barb - get some rest and have a good day tomorrow (TGIF). Thinking of all of you.
-
