Hi Naughty,
As I recall, for a stage theory to work it must be consistent and work across all groups. Maslow's heirarchy of needs doesn't meet the criteria. It is one of those ideas that sounds great, seems to make sense, but just doesn't work as a stage theory. Looked at as part of a humanistic philosophy it gets better reviews.
Rogers is your friend.

I'm voting for Scotty's dad
-
-
Hahahah Angel... that's too funny! But he did have a pretty good voice... so we know where Scotty gets it from
-
Angel,
I guess we did see where Scotty got his fabulous voice from!!! Dad!
The performance Lauren just gave.... Superb!!!
Wow, anyone's day to take!!!
-
Lauren rocked with her last song.♥♥♥
-
Hmmmm,
Interesting... When asked who the judges picked for best tonight... We had 2 votes for Lauren and 1 for Haley.... Seems to be the same feelings here!
-
The apple doesn't fall far from that tree! I have to say that I enjoyed Scotty more tonight than any other night. Lauren did great with her last song but ironically, my favorite is Haley, even though it seems she took James spot. I'd love to see her do a Bonnie Raitt tune.
-
Seaside I agree with you off to vote for Lauren!
-
Seaside...This is the most exciting season I have ever watched.
As a good citizen I casted my vote on FB
♥♥LAUREN♥♥
-
Since I can't vote for my son, I'm not voting! But may the best idols stay!
-
Seyla,
I really can't remember a recent season that I have watched with the same enthusiasm as this one! Not sure if it is the talent level of the contestants or just the fun of watching it with all of you! In any case, this has been really a great season!!
-
I thought they all were great! I loved Haley's first song... thought the wind machine during her Stevie Nicks song was a bit silly (not her fault though)... and loved the third song as well (though clearly the verses were a bit low for her). Lauren also did great with her songs, especially that last one; and Scotty was great though his last song was my least favorite of the three. Definitely any one of them could win. I guess it will come down to whose fans are willing to call 100 times
-
Angel,
While I am scared to actually say it because, it seems to be the kiss of death, but I think Haley took the night!!
Lauren was right there with her and, I hate to say it... but, I think Scotty is in trouble this week....
They are all so good and I feel bad for any of them going home...
-
Scotty's still my favorite with Haley a close second. Both favs for their genre (country and jazzy blues). I personally see Lauren as z clone of Carrie Underwood and think she needs more time to develop into herself.
Just loved Scotty's dad!! -
Seaside...I love watching the show all together.
My friends think I'm crazy to be obsessively involved with the show.
I forget everything during the show it actually calms me down.
-
Ok... A bit confused! Is there a show tomorrow? Or are we going straight to the final show next Wednesday?
-
mimi-----I hope it will be a Lauren and Scotty finale too!
Anne
-
Yes there is a show tomorrow.
Next Tuesday top 2 will sing.
Wednesday is the big night.
-
Thanks Seyla!
Will be here! Holy Yikes tho!!!! Not sure how much more I can take!!!
OK, who am I kidding? Wouldn't miss it for the world! See ya all tomorrow!
-
anne glad to have a friend joing sheila and I. Go Lauren and Scotty!!
voting till my fingers drop let's keep it rolling. West Coast vote, vote, vote for Lauren and Scotty
-
Seaside .. I hear you, it's definitely fun watching with you all!
Seyla .. The show is definitely a great distraction!
Currently, dialidol has Scotty with 40.651, Lauren with 21.375 and Haley with 18.369
It keeps changing but Scotty has a huge lead ... guess we know who is willing to call 100 times!
-
Ohhh got to vote for Lauren everyone!
-
Angel,
Guess there is just no telling what the results will be tomorrow! Wouldn't have thought that's where the votes would stand right now!
Anybody's game!
I think, at this point, they're all winners!
-
Okay... still going around w/ stupid project... this time helping another student w/ my three cents... me helping... what a freaking joke!!! And YES, Rodgers was my friend and I will be talking before class about The Pursuit of Happyness, re. Chris Gardner's life.
About AI: Scotty really does not do it for me... is too country for me... I like cross over stuff... I would say he did good w/ the first song... the other two... thumbs down for me.
Lauren: my baby girl... she is my young American Idol pick; she ROCKED LW's song... I Hope You Dance... just love that song... BUT
Hayley: Best song was her interpretation of Stevie Nicks song and the very last note on AM's song!
The judges have hammered in our heads SONG CHOICE... man! They sucked w/ their choices... the program tonight was a wash!!!!
I feel the judges have been way too soft... and I miss Simon for his honesty... brutal or not.
I think 10 years of being suckered in to be disappointed is it for me. May the best one win and on with The Voice and The X-Factor coming this fall... yeah!
PS: What da... fudge was that by Beyonce?????????????? Has she lost her marbles???
-
I still love Scotty.
-
NBN...I like to try X- Factor.
Simon & Paula together should be interesting maybe Randy will join them
.
-
Sheila: I love Paula, pills, booze and all!
Teka: Nothing wrong with Scotty... just not my cup of tea. Like I stated before, may the best one win... than again...!
I shall now drag my sorry A$$ and fried brain to a shower and my nice bed!! Talk to you tomorrow? Nite, nite ladies. Hugs to you all.
-
NO I don't want Randy to join them if he does that may be the end of AI
Not sure how i will like X factor but I will try it... Maybe you can start a thread for that Sheila?
