Baby it's cold outside

suzwes, feel like we should start building the ark, one day out of seven is partly sunny, that seems like the best we can do. I too feel for the farmers, so many fields have standing water..
-
Beautiful day yesterday. Today was cloudy. Thunderstorms again tonight, going to be a long night.
Sheila

Hope you survived your storms Sheila. Hope you're having sunshine today Karen, we are partly sunny but any sun we get is welcome. Our temp is 46 but we're supposed to get into the mid to upper 50s today.
-
Sunny in S. Oregon today-supposed to hit 80! But rain again over the weekend, naturally, as I am supposed to help my sister at her craft booth at a local artisan fair!
-
suzwes, we certainly have waited long enough for the sun, it better be a summer lasting till October to make up for the dreary "spring" we have endured. Bought my daughter one of those SAD light boxes, except it is a standup lamp, we have all been taking turns with it, seems to help. Can't wait for the sun tomorrow and the gradual warmup. We will actually have a string of sunny days, I even count partly cloudy days. Karen
-
Karen, I'm about to the point of counting it sunny when the clouds are thin enough that you can see a bright patch where the sun is.
-
chabba, you made me laugh, if it weren't so true, it'd be sad. Lovely living in this longitude and latitude. I hadn't realized how similar our weather patterns till I found this site..
-
I would welcome enough wind to blow those clouds away
-
The storms last night were not as bad as last week, no tornado watches/warnings. today was sunny but cooler. Tomorrow we are under a frost warning after we have had 80's in the past week. I have closed the bedroom window and I think I will have to put the blanket close to the bed so if I get too cold tonight I can pull it on me.

It's beautiful outside, sunny (2 days in a row) and the temp is 63, with 5 more days of sun in the forecast!!
-
We are making up for all those dank, dreary days - it is sunny and 63 with the temps to be on a steady rise, till Thursday when there is a possibility of rain.
-
We're sunny and 69 - just beautiful outside. Karen, I'll hurry and send this weather your way so you get it faster.
-
First real warm day I spent the whole day outside doing much needed yard work.Summer is finally here
-
Thanks suzwes, this is our reward for those hideous winter storms. And we appreciate it so much, everyone not working is outside.
-
We're supposed to be warm all week and then I'm sooooo lucky that I get to leave for Miami on Friday and excited that Mum and I are roomies for our Breast Cancer Thrivers cruise on the Eastern Caribbean beginning Saturday. I'm hoping when we get back that it will be warm. It's amazing how everyone's mood seems so much happier (around this area anyway) when we can get outside and enjoy nature.
We're currently at 61 degrees with storms rolling through.
Happy Tuesday everyone.

I read this week where we average around 300 daysof sunshine a year. The past three have been mostly glomy, but we have got sunshine at some point. It went from 94 Saturday to 70 Sunday.
-
I've been in Atlanta most of last week and then Hampton, VA for the rest. Leaving today to go back to Tampa. Atlanta cooled off after we got there (a work conference) and stayed that way. Hampton has been wonderful 60's and 70's during the day and quite cool at night. I'm going home to the 80's and 90's now, but back to the pool and air conditioning. Suzette, you and Mum have a wonderful time on the cruise. Meece, hope all is well with the new job. How has this week been?
-
It has been good. I finally had someone from corporate come to train me today. She will be here tomorrow, too. I hope I absorb everything and do a good job. I was winging it for the first two weeks.
-
We are under another thunder storm watch tonight. Not expecting quite the winds or tornado warnings we had last week but I will be sleeping with my phone close by, I get warning text messages from a local tv station.
Sheila
-
I must say I don't envy you, Sheila. I hope you sleep well though.
-
About 10 minutes after I went to bed the storm hit. Alot of lightning and thunder and the power even flickered once. That storm lasted about an hour then about 5 am another round of storms started through, not quite as severe as last night. Just now I saw a flash of light out the window and then a large clap of thunder. What a crazy spring we have had!

Yesterday was sunny and in the 80s. If it was any indication, yesterday the outer office at work smelled like sweaty men. Not looking forward to when thte weather gets really hot!
-
72 and still sunny, beautiful day. Is this really Western New York? I'd like this to last till the last of October and then a mild fall before the cold shows up. One year we did have such a weather pattern, it was so glorious.
-
Beautiful day today. My car thermometer said 82! I love, love, love it!
Hope the storms calm down a little Sheila!
Meece, is sweaty man smell anything like smelly teen boy? YUK!
-
Got back home to Tampa yesterday and wow what a difference in the weather. I left VA where it was cool and so nice. It got up to the 90's today and is so hot. Came home and could not stay out long. Oh well, I'll get used to it, again. Shelia, you really have had your share this spring. Suzette, have a great vacation.
-
We have more thunderstorms expected again tonight and through the weekend!!!! What is going on with the weather this year? Will there be t-shirts saying I survived the spring storms of 2011?
Last night storm took several trees out in the community, but not my big trees. The power was off at the church for most of the day and the construction crew couldn't do any work today. They have the drywall put up in the upstairs part of the fellowship hall. They said that we could get posession of the fellowship hall to paint in 3 weeks and give us 3 weeks to do the painting then the construction crew will do the finish work.

Well we had a wonderful thunderstorm here today. We have been so dry and if we had not gotten rain this month our ranchers would have lost most of their summer hay crop. It was in the 80's and now is 66 degrees. I think my garden will love this rain. Also my grass which my DH will hate. hehe
-
Had a thunder shower yesterday while we were at the g'son's baseball game. When we got home, it looked like it rained about 1/4 of an inch. We had all three grands over for the night last night including the 2 month old. About 4 this moring, I heard loud thunder. Looked like it rained about another 3/4 of an inch. We really needed it. It is currently 79 degrees outside, really nice.
-
It has cooled off so the thunder storm threats are down but we are getting rain for the the next 3 days.
Saturday I was given some hosta plants to put on the bank across the front of my property but trying to plant them in between the showers is going to be the problem.

Saturday was nice weather with plenty of sun and 80° temps. Yesterday, however, was a bit gloomy with the threat of rain most of the day. We did have bursts of bright sunshine, but mostly wind and sprinkles now and again.
We cut down a Palo Verde tree yesterday. I have just had it with fighting the thorns and keeping the pruning in check. When the rain came I just worked in the greenhouse. I got some of my cucmbers and tomatoes potted in larger pots and did general clean up.
