Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

I agree, I don't enjoy listening to him at all.
-
I think Phillip stumbles over his words so much, it's difficult to understand him. Except even when you can understand him, he doesn't always make sense. Like when he told Francesca he couldn't pronounce her name right because, "I have a dry mouth disorder, but I'm getting treatment for it." I had to just laugh at that.
-
There does seem to be a lot of interesting people this season that I hope we get to meet soon.
-
Okay I LOVE this season - only 2 episodes in! Maybe it's the 'knowing' Rob and Russell but it's working for me.
Was sorry to see Francesca (sp?) voted off before Philip and Krystina (sp?) is a fave of mine, too. Can't wait for next week!!!
-
Another Phillip remark from that other message board I post on:
"After tribal, my husband came upstairs and showed two impromptu "tattoos" he'd drawn on his biceps and doing his best 'Phillip' said, "This is a snail. It's because I'm slow. And this is a question mark. Because no one understands what the *@#& I'm talking about."
-
riley - LOL!!
-
Carolyn,
Love the impromptu tatoos!!!
I feel cheated this season - we are in week 2 and no one has gone home yet. Okay, we know who the two are that have to fight it out, but we don't know who is actually leaving. I thought that we would see who goes home last night when they combined the reward challenge with the immunity challenge. They are really draggin this out. I am thinking this is because since they moved to Wednesday, they actually get back 2 weeks that they had lost to March madness in previous seasons. I still want them to get on with it. I guess I am just impatient.
Loved how Ralph stumbled onto the immunity idol. It was hidden in the same manner as it was at the other camp - in the root of a tree. I never noticed before if they were always in the same place in both camps, but I guess it would have to be because they don't know who is winning the challenge so the clue has to fit both camps.
I still love Survivor, but this slowness combined with Amazing Race continuing and not sending someone home the first week is ticking me off a little bit.
-
I think Rob wanted Matt out for another reason - the fact that Matt and Andrea were getting together - Rob knows what can happen when there is a couple playing together - he & Amber made it to the end. The handshake was just the excuse he told most of the tribe to get them to vote for him.
-
ADK - I forgot about that I think you are right. I think Russell hasn't changed up his game, which really doesn't make any sense since he hasn't won previously. Looks like his tribe is pretty much united against him. I like the guy who found the immunity idol on his team, he's funny.
-
Russell is nuts for threatening Ralf or Ralph (the guy with the body hair). They are two peas in a pod. I would love to see those two on Redemtion Island.
-
Sorry .. ladies .. I was fascinated with American Idol last night, but DVR'd -- Survivor. LMAO .. sounds like a scream. Going to watch later tonight!

So far this season is getting off to a good start. Philip is a total nut case, but does keep us laughing and wondering what he is thinking or saying. I still don't like Russell and still don't understand why or how he gets the young girls to team up with him.
-
Just finished watching .. Philip entertained us, again. There seems to be something .. wrong, seriously. Why you vote out a strong young guy vs a skinny girl, is anyone's guess. Boston Rob must enjoy going to 'Tribal Council' every 3 days.
Ralph the farmer with the man hair galore .. gave Russell a run for his money! Russell does not like to be challenged, my guess, an ego thing. Kick -- Russell and his hat to the curb!

Liked the redemption challenge, it seemed fair to me.
-
NOT happy about how tonight's episode played out!
-
Jay - How come?
-
I'm not too happy either. I'm glad they worked to get Russell off, but throwing a challenge is just stupid........they would have been able to vote him off when they lost a challenge that was a legitimate loss.
-
That's true. I also hate that challenge, I didn't watch it. Can't stand to see them go underwater like that.
-
I think Rob's tribe would have won regardless. So, will it turn out that Russell will spend all his time on Redemption Island and come back at the merge? Russell really isn't all that great in the challenges, so I don't know if he will go home quickly or not. Seems strange that Russell would get voted off so quickly - there was so much hype about Rob vs. Russell. What will be interesting is if Rob gets voted off and sent to Redemption when Russell is there - they would have to spend a night together. That could be pretty funny.
-
okay .. I fess up .. I watched American Idol, and DVR'd Survivor .. Russell is gone ... hilarious! I will watch, and laugh out loud when Russell talks about a bind-side .. not realizing it is him who was blind sided!

Well, I am a Russell fan. I'm not saying that he's a good person but it IS a game and he IS good at this game. I don't think he'll be gone anytime soon. (JMO)
-
What is the guys name who is on redemption island? Russell is going to psych him out no doubt!! I think Russell will be around for a while - but who knows!
-
that's Matt with Russell...Russell is going to eat him alive...
-
Jaybird .. You are so right, Russell is all about the game, no doubt about it. Therefore, he sure to do well at redemption island. When does the player come back into the game? During the merger, or after? I haven't heard this ti-bit .. Anyone know?
Vicki Sam
-
For some reason I thought it was the merge.
-
I don't think they are letting us know when they come back to the tribe. It would be logical to be at the merge. I can't remember - did they stop using exile island at the merge?
-
In Palau I think they sent that tall thin dark haired woman to exile island after the merge. What was her name??
-
Omaz, know who you mean but don't remember the name. Russell plays the game well hence the reason the tribe had to get rid of him, too much of a threat. But think the ladies on this thread is right, he won't be going anytime soon unless the next challenge is really physical, then I can see that younger guy winning (think his name is Matt?) Not sure who my favorite it at this point, too soon in the game.
-
I as glad to see Russell outsmarted. The playa got played! I also find it interesting that Russell was going on about how "stupid" Ralph is. Yet Ralph has the hidden idol and Russell is now on Redemption Island.
I do think Russell will eat Matt alive from a psychological perpective. But, Matt is young and strong and could cetainly whip out-of-shape Russell in a physical challenge.
Should be interesting!!
-
I was so so glad to see Russell voted off. He is so annoying and the biggest liar. There is a difference between "game play" and what he does. He also treats women like he owns them instead of like friends. He is everything in a man that I hate. Love the show...can't wait until next week.
