Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

Philip is a nut case..I don't see how or why anybody would trust him after that. Although he would be good to keep around just bc he acts like a 3 year old that feels the need to tattle. It was just shocking to see him do it right there at TC.
-
The what if moments need to go. I sure hope the redemption island clips are not as boring.
-
Can you imagine national secrets in Philip's hands?
Here is a new link for Jeff's blogs.

Thanks, PIP for the link!

Vicki...i was also watching AI and DVR'd Survivor.
it seems to be an interesting season.
There are lots of crushing personalities.
-
Yes, I'm sick of the 'what if' clips. We get it! We get it!
Regarding the clothes, previous seasons have said that producers look through their stuff and decide what they'll wear. And sometimes, they've rejected all of a contestant's clothing and provided them with what they want them to wear. The season that Earl won (Fiji?), the guy in the green tank top ranted later about how he hated that thing, he hadn't brought it, but they made him wear it. Of course, if someone's dumb enough to bring a suit or an impractical dress for 'publicity photos', the producers will gleefully choose that as their attire. Ditto with impractical shoes/boots.
-
After about the 4th week contestants start complaining about the cold at night. That suit coat might come in very handy.
-
Philip is definitely a nut case. Entertaining to watch though....The thought of national secrets in his hands - YIKES!!!
Looks to be an interesting season ladies!
Ditto on the "what if" clips. "What if" they just stopped showing those stupid clips?
-
I didn't like the clips either - found it distracting and annoying.
-
I remember that last season all the "sweet young things" were given bikinis at about the third week. They all showed up for the challenge in the same bathing suit. I thought it it might have been that their underwear fell apart.
-
Well, not much to comment on, as you all covered everything! But what a great show!
I had mentioned earlier on the thread, that this season has a family member on it from my husbands side. Ralph Kiser, is his 3rd cousin. We have never met, didn't even know of him until we were visiting with another cousin, and he told us. From what I can gather he and my husband have the same great great grandfather. Anyways, looks like him and Russell are going to clash on this next season. Which I am sure is why he was put on Russells team!
As for Russell, I too was wondering about the tooth, but could not tell from any of the shots taken of him.
Can't imagine what those droopy fucsia briefs are gonna look like in a few weeks, provide Philip is not voted off. And what was that girl thinking when she told so many she found the Idol. Has not ever watched the show?
DONNA, Hello! So good to see you my friend.
-
I am with all of you Phillip is a bit odd.. If he was FBI I can see why he is no longer doing it
-
Joining in a little late..........I agree with all of you Philip is a strange cookie, can't imagine him being a "special agent" - a little scary. He did make for a fun tribal council. I get that the person that found the idol wanted to vote Rob out, but why go on the attack so soon?
-
Any guy that can stand around in his pink bikini undies is odd in my book... You know you are going on an island wear the appropriate underwear
. Well we know he can't keep a secret either... He just struck me a strange all the way around.
-
So who thinks Philip is going tonight?
-
I hope he does go if possible. He annoys me.
-
He annoys me also..I think it would be great to see him go up againest Franscia (sp)
-
Unless Russell's tribe goes to TC instead... if so, will they really try to boot him, or someone else?
-
maybe he is playing that annoying card so that no one likes him and they want to take him to the end cause noone will note for him. do you think??
-
Either Philip is insane, or playing insane -- time will tell! Now, lets talk about his pinky/red brief, and the fact that they do not fit correctly. I could see if it was 30 days in .. and you've lost weight from the lack of food, not 2 days in....imagine how those groovy briefs will be fitting, Philip in 3 weeks ..
Now what I do not understand or get my mind around ... not is that everyone has watched or heard of the series, Survivor, right .. you are dropped off, in the clothes on your back, time and time, again. Why would'nt you layer your clothing ..i.e. wear a bathing suit, trunks, and undie's ... Women, tank top, blouse, swimsuit, socks, shorts, Levis and sneakers.. Bye, the way, Who is the Yahoo, in a suit?
LOL ...

That coat might come in handy when it starts to rain and everyone complains of the cold nights. Of course once it gets wet, if it's wool, it is going to smell bad.
-
Hi,
Count me in....I love survivor. I think they have a great cast of people this time. I just hope Russel goes home early. I don't have a big problem with the rest of them.
-
What a crazy cast of characters ... Philip is all that, and then some. His self important stance, and ramblings .. send me over the edge with laughter and tears!
There will be other lunatics emerge in the next few weeks. That is why I love this show. You can be the guy or girl next door, and within a few days, a sleep deprived, sword carrying, food burying cast member.
If I see, 1 more of those 'what if' clips .. I will scream out loud, enough already!
I would like to burn those ill fitting 'pinky/red' breifs, if given the chance! Yikes ... keep your legs closed, Philip. LOL

Ha ha - Ralph stumbled upon the idol that was hidden so poorly that I'm sure they expected Russell to find it. But then Ralph, I mean 'man sweater', challenges Russell openly. Not sure that was smart.
Phillip's still crazy. On another message board (about TV) I post on, someone pointed out "Favorite moment tonight was Philip talking about serving and protecting his country then the edit to the little crab that looked as if it was standing to attention and saluting." I missed that. Hopefully, someone will have it on YouTube.
Did someone screw up the vote? I thought that Phillip's vote for Kristina was supposed to be a throw-away (or was it the votes for Phillip that were supposed to be changed to Matt?)
-
I don't even know what to say. Next week looks intersting. I think the fellow voted off, Matt?, was completely surprised though. Why was his shaking hands with the other tribe so bad? He probably just did it out of habit from sports.
-
Because it could be viewed as trying to be on good terms with people that he might flip over to at the merge.
-
Riley - Ok, I get it. About the salute, cbs.com will have the whole episode and more tomorrow.
-
I am disappointed Philip was not voted off... I felt bad for Matt... I don't think he deserved to go....
Philip needs to put clothes on... he is a very grating guy.
